Takashi then reached his classroom and violently opened the door. He then approached Rei. “Come with me” said Takashi to Rei and he grabbed her hand and pulled her. “What are you doing?” asked Rei to Takashi. His best friend Hisashi Igo approached them. “What happened Takashi? ” asked Hisashi to Takashi. “Some teachers were killed. They were Takashi, Rei and Hisashi. On their way to the rooftop, they encountered a zombie teacher. Rei then attacked the zombie swiftly using a combo of moves. But the zombie had incredible strength. It pushed Rei back where she then hit a wall and the pipe was knocked out of her hands. Hisashi grabbed the zombie and Takashi gave the spear to Rei. Rei pierced the zombie’s heart. “Hisashi, get away from the zombie” Takashi warned Hisashi. The trio let their guard down for a moment thinking the zombie was dead. The zombie then grabbed Hisashi’s hand and bit him. Hisashi pushed the zombie away and Takashi leaped at that moment and smashed the zombie’s head. The zombie then died. “Hisashi, are you okay?” asked Rei. Hisashi replied “I’m fine. More importantly, let’s get to the roof “.The trio then made their way by fighting off the zombies and barricaded themselves on the roof.

During this time, the infection spread on Hisashi’s arm. After they barricaded themselves, Hisashi started showing signs of changing into a zombie. Hisashi said, ” Takashi can you take me to the edge of the rooftop?” Takashi asked him why to which he replied that by falling from there, he would hit hard head and die. Rei said, ” No. Hisashi, why is your condition so bad? You won’t change, right?” as she was in despair. Hisashi then spat a lot of blood. He then pleads to Takashi, ” Takashi, kill me please!! I want to die as myself before turning, not as one of those bastards”. Takashi heard Hisashi’s request and while feeling immense pain, picked up his bat to kill Hisashi. Takashi said, “Rei, move away from him.” Rei seeing Takashi said, “No, don’t do it Takashi, Hisashi won’t change” said Rei as she hugged Hisashi. At that moment Hisashi was almost fully a zombie, so using his incredible strength he pushed Rei away. Takashi took use of this opportunity, made a swift dash towards Hisashi and smashed his head, thus killing Hisashi.

Rei then asked why he did that to Takashi to which he replied that she would have been infected by Hisashi also. Rei said, ” I didn’t want to be saved like this. I didn’t want to see Hisashi like this. It would have been better if I was also infected by Hisashi and became one of them”. Takashi then said, ” I don’t think Hisashi would’ve wanted that ” to which Rei asked him what did he know? Seeing Takashi ignoring her and climbing up the barricade, she then begged Takashi, “Don’t go!! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean what I said! I really didn’t! Please stay here with me!!” Seeing her tear ridden face, he hugged her.
