High School Harem - Volume 1 Chapter 8

The bus was moving along the road. They passed convenience stores on the way by. There were hardly any people on the road except for the occasional zombie. Within the bus, Rei sat down next to Rei. But Rei was clearly angry about bringing Mr.Shido with them. Mr.Shido approached Busujima who wiping her sword clean of the blood splatters, and said “Are you the leader, Ms.Busujima?” to which she replied that they didn’t have one and that they survived thanks to their teamwork.

Mr.Shido hearing this said, “That’s no good. For us to survive, a leader is required ” He then began preaching like a religious cult leader using his philosophy to make them his followers. Takashi was appalled at his behavior. Rei, Takagi and Mikoto were disgusted with his behavior. Samui, Ms.Sakurada sensei and Ms.Hayashi sensei were neutral. But both Yuu and Miku supported Mr.Shido.Then he said to select by voting and Mr.Shido received the most votes as his group had the most students.

The group then came upon a view of the city. It was in utter chaos. A delinquent among Mr.Shido’s group caused a ruckus saying why did the rest of the group have to follow them and that they selfishly came to the city without consulting their opinions.Hearing this Takagi, Mikoto and Ms.Shizuka became quite angry.They were the ones who risked their lives to save that group, but instead of being thanked, they were being blamed. Mr.Shido used this opportunity to fixate his position as the leader.

The delinquent then tried to pick a fight with Takashi (perhaps feeling threatened by Takashi). But Takashi replied that he didn’t even know who he was. Seeing Takashi’s indifference, he went to hit him by was kicked in the chest by Rei who defended Takashi. Rei then wiped the floor with the delinquent. Ms.Shizuka stopped the bus immediately as she couldn’t concentrate on driving as the commotion was irritating her. Rei then had enough of this, she opened and the door and exited the bus. Takashi went after Rei as he was worried about her. Rei then said that she couldn’t travel with Mr.Shido’s group. She then went near a tunnel with Takashi behind her. Busujima, Takagi and Mikoto also followed exited the bus.

At that moment, a bus came in quite a speed on the road and toppled over in front of the bridge. Takashi took Rei with him and jumped towards the tunnel’s entrance to escape from the bus’s collision path. The bus had some people who were infected, so everyone on the bus got infected. The bus then exploded killing all the zombies on the bus. Busujima was worried about Takashi so she went near the entrance of the tunnel. There they both decided to meet on the Onbetsu bridge on the other side of town.

They decided to meet at 7 p.m of the next day as Takashi had also received information from Mikoto that his sister was with the rest of the Black Label members. He wanted to reunite with them as quickly as possible as he was worried about his sister and the rest of Black Label members.
