They took him inside by the arm and shed of the sweat soaked clothes off Zi Li. Chun Lan helped Zi Li relax his back, while Ming Yue pours him tea she carried back in the room. As he drank three whole cup, his stomach was feeling a tad better.
“Your Highness, why did his majesty summoned you? Is it about the male concubine incident yesterday——”
“Ah! If only it is about that, but, do you know what he was looking for me for?”
Ming Yue and Chun Lan nervously looked at each other, shaking their heads simultaneously.
“It’s because of an assassin! There was a black clad assassin last night, and they insisted that it was me behind it, that I was the one who schemed this dirty plan of assassinating his majesty! I kept debating in my defense, that how could I do such an evil thing? And how could I have the courage to do such a thing?” Zi Li stood and stomped in rage as he explained, then sits back in his chair again and sips his tea.

Ming Yue and Chun Lan’s faces were both white and green as they pounced on him with tears streaming on their cheeks.
When Zi Li saw it, he panicked. What he’s most afraid of are girls crying, as Jia Bao Yu depicted, “All women are made of water’. Seeing this two sweet-tempered women break down in tears, and those crystal clear teardrops that keeps forming and falling, Zi Li’s heart felt like it sank along with it, and was rather distressed about it.
“Ming Yue, Chun Lan, my lovely elder sisters, what’s the matter with you two?” Zi Li clumsily wiped the tears on their faces with his sleeve. But as soon as he did, new tears formed and steadily dropped like waterfalls.

He promptly pulled the two crying girls up while hastily changing the subject. To be frank, their constant crying ruined the makeup on their faces, turning their look in a funny cat like face. But it was not funny for Zi Li even one bit, his heart felt more sorry as he repeatedly comforted them.
He truly believed in his heart that this two girls are his family so it was stressing him!
“Don’t cry, quickly stand up! They said that I’m suspicious, but then again, they don’t have definitive evidence that it was really me who incited it.
