His Personal Bed Partner - Chapter 18 Do You Expect Me To Believe That?
It was already three o’clock when Kaylee went to Christopher’s study room. With her hand, a tray with a box of pizza, a pitcher with an orange juice, and two glasses. “Have some.” Christopher looks at her as he smiles and nodded. Kaylee placed the tray beside Christopher’s study table.
Christopher’s study room is big, his own study table was placed in the center wherein his personal computer was placed. There’s a bookshelf behind with different kinds of books, on the right, near at the door, there’s a couch and on the left side, a table with some documents on it was placed in a four chair. He’s using that table when he’s working with Liam.
Kaylee pours a juice in the glass and get a piece of pizza and give it to Christopher. Christopher smiles and took it. “Thank you.”
“Do you need help?” Kaylee asks, Christopher looks at her and to his phone for a second. “Just a little, but I’m fine for now.” Kaylee nodded. “Just let me know.”
Kaylee sat on the couch and plug her earphone to her phone. Since Christopher didn’t need her help, for now, she decided to listen to music.
Kaylee was listening to music when she noticed that Christopher seems to be bothered by something. She removes her earphone and was about to ask why when Christopher stood up from his swivel chair.
Christopher doesn’t know what’s wrong, but he can’t calm himself. What happened earlier keeps on popping into his mind. That Aria is Kaylee’s cousin. He clearly heard what that woman said to Kaylee, and because he’s worried, while the call was ongoing, He watches the CCTV. He has to call Anna just to send that woman away from Kaylee.
Of course, he was just worried. If he remembers it right, back then, when he saw the panic in Kaylee’s face when her aunt called her. If that woman is somehow related to that, He knew It would make Kaylee uncomfortable. There’s even a possibility that they cross each other path once again, given that Aria is working at the Empire. That makes him think that ‘Whatever happens, I need to protect Kaylee.’
Kaylee blinks. She’s now laying on the couch and Christopher is already on the top of her. She didn’t say a word or look away. She just looks at Christopher’s eyes. She was nervous. The way Christopher look at her is like he was afraid. Christopher leans his chin into Kaylee’s shoulder. Kaylee tense up when she felt Christopher’s breath. “I will protect you,” Christopher said with a low voice.
He was afraid, afraid that someone is capable of hurting Kaylee without doing anything. “Are you okay?” Christopher smiles weakly. “That’s my line.” After saying those words, he pressed his lips against hers. Kaylee was shocked for a moment, but she let him kiss her, in the end, she found herself kissing him back.
The look she in Christopher’s eyes just a while ago and his action look likes he was asking for it. As their kiss deepened, Kaylee totally gives in herself. Christopher’s hand started to move around Kaylee’s body. As his hand reaches Kaylee’s breast, his lips go down to her jawline down to her neck as he slowly caresses her breast. Kaylee bites her lower lips as she runs her fingers into Christopher’s hair. It was getting intense… suddenly the door open. “OMO!” A shocked and a sweet voice rang into their ears. Kaylee froze, she can’t even look at the door. Christopher looks at the source of the voice.
Kaylee stared at the surprised look of Christopher as he licks his lips, she’s still unable to move because Christopher is still on her top and still holding her breast, she blushed. Christopher looks at Kaylee, and back to the girl at the door and stood up. “Charlotte, why are you here?” Kaylee eyes’ widen, ‘Charlotte?’ she stood up and face the door with her head bowed. Charlotte raises her eyebrow. “I came to surprise you, but I am the one who got surprised.”
‘I was surprised too, okay? We were getting there, but you suddenly showed up! You ruin the mood.’ Christopher thought to himself. “Who is she, your girlfriend?” Christopher looks at Kaylee. “Obviously, she’s my personal assistant.”
“Do you expect me to believe that?”
‘Damn!’
