His soul - Chapter 37:Last day
By the time lunch was over, Gina had just arrived at the office, she was thirty minutes late because she was having trouble finding the last address which turned out to be in a narrow alley in an inaccessible suburb of Barcelona.
When Gina arrived at the office everyone looked at her sharply and it made Gina confused, she didn’t understand why her friends seemed unfriendly to her. Finally, when Gina entered the office to report on her work today, she realized that something had gone wrong. It was proven by the cold gaze of Andres, the manager who turned out to be a fellow lover at Gina. Whereas previously he was very friendly to Gina who used Gabriel’s identity at work.
“During this office’s operation for many years, we have never received a complaint from a customer, this is the first time we have received this very fatal complaint, Gabriel,” said Andres coldly in a rising voice.
Gina tucked her gloves into her shirt pocket. “Complaint? Did I get a complaint?” asked Gina, confused.
“Yes, you are the one who got the complaint and it tarnished the good name of our shipping company!” Andres replied back full of emotion.
“What did I do wrong?” asked Gina confused, Gina felt that she had done nothing wrong today. Because of that she did not understand on what basis she was accused of making the company’s reputation bad.
Instead of answering Gina’s question very impolitely Andres threw a piece of paper at Gina. “Read that!”
Throwing the paper roughly didn’t make Gina angry, instead she smiled and grabbed the paper that didn’t hit her face to read. Gina’s eyes narrowed when she read the complaint that contained the consumer dissatisfaction form.
“Mrs. Claire Parker is our regular customer, she often uses delivery services through our office for almost 5 years and she is one of our loyal customers. Therefore, we were very surprised when she wrote a complaint report like this, Gabriel,” said Gabriel. Sarah slowly.
Gina smiled and her face looked at Sara who was standing next to Andres. “Mrs. Claire Parker owns the vineyard?”
“Yes, that Mrs. Claire,” replied Sara again.
“Never mind, miss, just fire this ignorant courier. Just two weeks of work is already causing trouble, don’t let us lose all our customers because of this incompetent courier.” Andres, who was already very upset with Gina, provoked Sara the director’s daughter, to fire her.
“Don’t interfere with Andres, I have the decision. You shut up!! ” Sara rebuked in a rising voice.
Andres’ face was pale instantly, he immediately lowered his face to avoid Sara’s gaze. The other couriers who had previously joined in on the conversation and instigated Andres and Sara to fire Gina also kept their mouths shut.
“Forgive us Miss Sara,” answered about ten couriers almost simultaneously.
Sara’s gaze was fixed on Gina again who looked very calm without guilt.
“So what do you want to explain to us, Gabriel?” Sara asked Gina quietly.
Gina smiled and handed the paper in her hand to Sara. “As a superior I think you have your own discretion, so I will accept the consequences that are given to you, Miss.”
“Even if you get fired, are you okay?”
“If that’s your decision then I can’t say anything more,” Gina replied softly with a smile.
“Okay, starting tomorrow you don’t have to come back to the office. Today you are officially dismissed from all your duties,” Sara said loudly. “Later, the human resource department will pay the remaining salary based on the contract that was agreed yesterday.”
“I accept your decision and thank you for the opportunity you gave me, then I’ll excuse myself and have a good day,” Gina answered flatly without expression.
According to Sara’s previous words, Gina decided to go to the human resource room to return the ID card, locker key and the vest she wore to work. When Gina came, the human resource manager seemed ready, she immediately handed Gina a paper to be signed right after Gina returned the company’s goods.
“In this envelope there is the rest of your salary, before you go you can calculate it Gabriel,” said the human resource manager to Gina.
Gina smiled and tucked the envelope into her pocket. “No, I trust you.”
Because she has no interest in the office, Gina decides to leave the office as soon as possible. Gina, who felt that she had no obligation in the office, immediately went to her motorbike, without saying goodbye to Sara who was still staring at her without blinking. Gina also spurred her favorite motorbike back at high speed, Gina forgot that until now she had not had lunch. Being slandered for harassing a middle-aged woman irritates Gina.
“Ck, you’re crazy. What kind of girl am I? I’m still normal, I still like men. My favorite Korean Idol is still more pleasing to the eye than the old woman, the world is really getting crazy,” Gina said to herself. when increasing the speed of the motorcycle.
Meanwhile, in front of Gina’s apartment room, there are now many people standing, they seem to surround several important people who are sitting on small chairs in front of Gina’s room.
“Are you sure we’re not wrong?”
