His soul - Chapter 41:Gina's coming
Gina looked at her cell phone which kept ringing non-stop, there were three different numbers that kept calling her until her phone ran out of power. After her cellphone was completely dead, Gina then went out of her room to buy food, but again she got a surprise when she opened the door to her room.
“Who are you guys?”
“We were asked by the old lady and Mr. Julian to pick you up, miss.”
Gina raised an eyebrow. “Who asked to be picked up? I didn’t ask to be picked up, you better go home!” said Gina curtly as she closed the door to her room again, but Gina’s movement was stopped because one of the men held the door so tightly that Gina couldn’t close the door again.
“Hey!!”
“Sorry Miss, we are only carrying out orders. Please cooperate.”
Gina still didn’t budge, she was still standing in front of her bedroom door trying to close her bedroom door from the inside. But now Gina realized that her efforts were in vain because there were two big men whose strength was greater than her trying to keep her apartment door open.
Because the four men could not be compromised, Gina finally decided to follow their will to go to the Sanders family’s house, actually Gina really wanted to go to her father’s family house to see the condition of her father after she gave her mother’s death certificate.
“Okay, give me five minutes to get ready,” Gina relented.
“Okay Miss.”
The two men who were holding the door to Gina’s room released their hands from the door, so that Gina could close the door again. Seems like what was said before, Gina actually spent five minutes getting ready. She only brought a small bag containing her wallet and cellphone, even though this was her first meeting with her father’s family but Gina did not change her clothes. She still wears casual clothes with torn jeans and a white t-shirt which is complemented by a jacket, Gina also doesn’t apply makeup. She really is herself now.
“Ok, I’m ready,” Gina said quietly as she left her room.
The four of Julian’s men looked at Gina up and down without blinking.
“Are you sure you’re ready to go with this look, Miss?”
“Yes, what’s wrong? Is there something wrong?” asked Gina curtly.
“N-no Miss, nothing’s wrong,” replied the four men in unison.
“Well then,” said Gina casually while shrugging her shoulders up, after saying that Gina then walked towards the emergency exit which had many stairs.
Seeing Gina walking towards the emergency exit the four men again blocked her steps.
“What’s wrong?” Gina asked angrily.
“We can use the elevator, miss.”
Gina sighed. “I have a trauma with the elevator, I was stuck at night when I was looking for food. That’s why I prefer to take the stairs, looking for safety,” replied Gina lying.
The four men immediately became silent and couldn’t say anything else other than following what Gina was doing, the age difference was very visible at this time. Gina seemed to walk without any difficulty at all when descending the stairs, while her father’s men seemed to be panting with exhaustion. Gina chuckled seeing the men, without guilt Gina then stepped into the mini market in the apartment lobby. Because she hasn’t eaten yet, Gina buys instant cup noodles that can be taken anywhere, with a mozzarella cheese topping that can be pulled. Gina brings her favorite cup of instant noodles to a black car that has been prepared by her father’s men.
Gina enjoyed her meal quietly alone in the backseat, Gina’s slightly barbaric behavior made the four Julian bodyguards shake their heads.
Actually there is nothing wrong with Gina’s attitude, Gina behaves like a girl her age. Which is cheerful and straightforward, it’s just that because the four bodyguards are used to seeing the way Selena and Rosa behave, Gina’s two stepsisters feel that Gina’s attitude is very far from the two beautiful girls who are always smart in dressing.
Gina enjoyed her food all the way to the Sanders family’s residence, actually Gina didn’t just eat. Because she is thinking about how to act in front of all her family members, especially in front of Vanessa Sanders who takes her mother’s position as the Sanders family’s mistress.
“We’ve arrived, Miss,” said one of Julian’s bodyguards slowly when he arrived in front of a large, towering gate, a gate that Gina had seen from a distance.
Gina, who had just been drinking then wiped her mouth with her hand. “Why am I afraid? Am I a criminal? The real criminal is in this house.”
Damn, one zero.
Gina’s words made the four bodyguards silent, they didn’t expect Gina to be so calm. Whereas previously they thought Gina would feel pressured to be brought home to her extended family.
Gina opened the car door slowly and lowered her feet in the yard of her father’s house, if previously Gina had come as a maid. Now Gina comes as herself.
Several maids who had been informed of Gina’s arrival appeared lined up in front of the main door, welcoming the arrival of the Sanders family’s first daughter who was born a woman who was not considered by the Sanders family. Gina walked quietly without fear, her hair in a ponytail seemed to dance beautifully in the wind. Seeing Gina walking quietly made the maids whisper behind her, they talked about Gina who turned out to be prettier than their two ladies despite having the same eye color.
Gina’s heart was pounding hard when she stepped into her father’s house, a house her mother had never stepped on until she died.
“Gina… Georgina, my granddaughter!!” Barbara Sanders shouted loudly, breaking all of Gina’s daydreams of remembering her mother.
Barbara Sanders who couldn’t wait to meet Gina immediately ran to Gina who had just arrived at the door, not only Barbara who looked directly at Gina. Everyone in the room was also currently staring at her, including her two half sisters and Diego Alvarez Sanders who were standing next to his mother.
Yohanes Sanders was speechless when he saw his first granddaughter, the flesh and blood that was born to the woman he hated so much that his wife hugged and kissed him. Yohanes’s green eyes, which began to lose their vision, looked at Gina without blinking, while Julian was seen wiping his tears when he saw Gina. The daughter he was forced to leave when she was in Sandra’s womb, the daughter who had never felt the touch of his father’s love.
Patrick Davidson, who was standing behind Julian, also seemed to grip his friend’s shoulder gently. “She’s your daughter, Julian. The daughter that Sandra gave birth, Georgina.”
