History at the Library - Chapter 134
A few days later, Vivian woke up from bed feeling refreshed. It was so refreshing that she felt like a feather flying. It was like someone washed while sleeping and her body smelled like flowers.
“Ha, what if I become an angel and fly away like this?”
She murmured nonsense in a still half-asleep voice. She was still out of her mind.
She slept for so long that her eyes seemed swollen. After standing blankly for a moment with eyes like a carp, the mind that had been completely eroded quickly cleared up. It was already midnight when she looked out the window with hair cleared.
She stared outside the mansion, where she couldn’t see an inch ahead, and looked around the room. Now, it was a guest room that felt like home because it was not familiar.
After a long time of doing that, memories of the past came to mind as if it was the day after getting drunk.
I hope you didn’t make any mistakes.
It seems that she has already done enough to cause a nuisance, but she was so sick that she couldn’t help it. Perhaps she was assisted by Aiden on his own accord, but she may have confessed that she liked him while she was dreaming or that she loved him.
At least, as far as she remembered, it never happened. She does, but she doesn’t know…
“No, I should have confessed as if I were trying to make an excuse to be sick.”
A sigh rose to the tip of her throat.
She hates him for keeping everything secret, so she insisted that their relationship was only about sex, and tempting him to have sex as soon as she realized that she liked him.
Doesn’t that make them feel positive that their relationship was only sex? She swept her face down with her palm.
But she was really scared. She was afraid he’d say she wasn’t anything. She wanted to shut up his mouth for that moment with sex.
Vivian fiddled with her left ring finger, which somehow felt empty. It was funny that she kept the ring as precious as an engagement ring as she had received it as a substitute for contraception.
But… she thought she could look forward to it a little bit.
The ever-rising expectations didn’t mean to fade. No, rather, it has expanded to the highest level ever.
Aiden’s attitude that she has seen so far was not one that treated a woman who was not likable. It was the case even with the occasional insults of possession. Whenever Vivian was with another man, he would spray life on her. Whether it was simply because he didn’t want to share his sex partner or whether he was really jealous because of Vivian, who had no experience in dating.
But at least she knew Aiden wouldn’t burn his feelings because of a woman who had no heart at all.
He’s not gonna take care of a woman he doesn’t even care about. When it is the servants who overflow the mansion, why would one who asks them to do anything they want to do they don’t need to take care of it. It wasn’t usually a good thing, so it was hard.
Besides, sex seems to be very impatient, but…
Oh, yeah. He must like me quite a bit.
Vivian grew more and more confident as she thought longer. However, the problem was that her level of liking is likely to be different, but the person who falls in love first loses. This was also what Vivian said to Julian as if he had been cut off.
She certainly realized that she loved him. She never wanted to miss him.
Even if she gets hurt? Yeah, she’d rather get hurt.
Vivian, who continued to think so far, finally came to a conclusion.
“Okay, I’ll seduce him.”
“What?”
A maid carrying bathwater asked back with a dazed sound.
What, was there someone?
Vivian shook her hands as if nothing was going on, laughed and quickly cleared her face with a cough. She’s sure there wasn’t before, but they just came out like a ghost. Anyway, there seemed to be only people who were good at eliminating their presence here.
Vivian often glanced at a somewhat familiar maid. Then she wiped the water off with the towel she handed and asked, rolling her eyes around.
“Well, how long has it been since I got here?”
“It’s been exactly seven days since you came.”
Oh, my God. She was sad that the weekend was gone, but she should be happy that another weekend is here.
Vivian had a faint look in her eyes when she realized that she had been absent from the library without permission while she was sick. Last time, she took a long leave of absence on her own, and now she deserved to be fired.
If it wasn’t for Aiden’s words, she’d have been fired. She didn’t finish her work properly, but she felt like she only caused damage to the librarians.
At this rate, it’s probably right to quit even though in fact, she liked the library and stuff.
It was her hobby, not her main job, and she came back to avoid Aiden as if she was running away. She didn’t realize how much she liked him back then.
But it’s definitely different now! It’s very different. Of course, it was more important to capture his heart than to work as a librarian. Before she missed it in vain.
Vivian clenched her fists again and strengthened her lifelong resolve.
