Hold My Hand Dont Let Me Go - Chapter 3 Go To Chapter ? Go
But when she returns, it was already too late
What greets her wasn’t Jonathan’s gentle hugs. His voice when they finally got to talk wasn’t warm. Instead, he was cold. Really really cold
He flatly informs her that he’s currently seriously seeing someone else and how much in love he is with that woman that’s why he wants to cancel their engagement. He said he don’t love her anymore. Instead, it was the opposite.
Samantha can see it in his eyes, Jonathan hates her;And she can’t complain because she knows that she deserves his loathe. She selfishly broke his heart without any explanation. It’s stupid for her to dream that he’ll wait for her.
Jonathan left before she can even say anything. The cold back of the man who used to be the nicest person to her is something that she could never ever imagine, but this is now her reality that she has no choice but to accept.

Few days then passed after her and Jonathan’s encounter and Samantha spent those days crying in her room alone.
Even on the day of her welcome party, she was crying her eyes out. She just stopped when it was already time for her to get her make-up done.
She must look her best. After all, today is her day. Her parents even made sure that everything in the party is perfectly organized. It’s been five years since their only daughter returns from New York, so even a single mistake isn’t allowed.
That is why, although Samantha isn’t feeling well. She stares at the mirror for a long time and forced herself to smile.
Just like how she did when she was feeling lonely in New York. She would scam herself that everything would be fine, and everything would go her way. Soon, just like how she’s trained, she finally composes herself and finally drew out a smile.

When the party started, Samantha instantly became the center of attraction.
Almost everyone came up to greet her with warm smiles and she would all reply with the same warmth in her lips.
All eyes of the guest are on her, but her eyes are only searching for one man. The one who cruelly broke her heart days ago, but also the same man whom she loved since she was ten, Jonathan.
She spent quiet some time before she finally saw him. Her eyes instantly light up when she saw the man neatly wearing a black tux. He’s still as dashing as he was, five years ago. He just became a bit more mature, but that only added into his overflowing charisma. You can call it biased, but Jonathan is the most gorgeous man Samantha has ever laid her eyes on.
Samantha was so taken aback with Jonathan that she didn’t noticed the woman clinging at her man’s arms. When she finally sees their intertwined hands, the sparkles in her eyes instantly dimmed. She was devastated and realized that the woman Jonathan is looking at the same way he used to look at her is probably the one who stole all his affection away from her.
An emotion that has never overpowered her before, suddenly emerges. All she could feel is hurt, jealousy and anger.
Probably because her tears have already been spent for the couple days, that is why all these negatives emotions are reigning in her heart. She doesn’t understand why either, but the one thing she’s sure is that. That woman must not exist.
