How To Get Cute Girls After Transmigrating - 59 Killing A Del’ol’as
I had no choice but to launch myself backward in an awkward manner as my only means of escape. It was not like I had a choice in the matter. I could not touch the Del’ol’as and I also could not use any magic while in the building in case I destroyed something we needed! All I could do was dodge and run away from it.
I was lucky and did not hurt myself when I dodged. I was still on the stairs and jumped all the way down to the end. As soon as I landed I turned and ran towards the exit. The Del’ol’as let out a horrific scream that pierced the ears. It seemed that missing its target really angered it. It was really fast and it had almost caught up to me as I was about to exit the building. Just to make sure I gave myself some breathing room I ended up having to fire a fireball at it to make it pause its steps.
It was just enough time for me to fully exit the building. I did not want to cast a fireball within the building but since I was near the exit and that area was void of any important resources plus I was left without any other options I fired one off that was just big enough to give me some leeway. I ran out of the building and saw that Sola and finished the container to hold the Del’ol’as in. There was a clear shot in and out of the container.
Sola was hiding off to the side of the container to stay out of sight of the Del’ol’as. The Del’ol’as ran after me and followed me straight into the trap. Only when Sola closed the entrance did I start to fire multiple fireballs at the Del’ol’as to make it pause its steps again. Once it did I shot out of the container and quickly used creation magic to seal the door.
I was completely out of breath. My chest felt heavy. I never had to run for my life like that before. I slumped down to the ground to catch my breath. Sola came running over to me with a worried expression. “Sora are you okay?” Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.com for visiting.
“Yeah, I am fine I was just catching my breath. I had a close call inside the building luckily luck was on my side.” I really could have died. If I did not react as quickly as I did I would have been dead. But from the horrific screams of the Del’ol’as who had lost its prey, it seemed that we had succeeded in capturing it.
“So what is our next plan?” Sola asked. As she made some water with magic and hand fed it to me. The cool water going down my throat felt very soothing.
“Now we create a set of stairs to climb to the top of the container and fire away at it until it is dead.” I had no other plans except for that. There was no other way to deal with it and it was not safe to keep it alive.
It took no time at all to create a set of stairs on two sides for the Sola and me to climb to the top of the container. After which, Sola and I started to cast fireball after fireball into the container. After a few rounds, we would check the walls to make sure they would not give out if they looked to be in bad shape we would fix them and then go back to firing fireballs at the Del’ol’as.
When an hour was almost up I had Sola go inform the girls that everything was okay. But the Del’ol’as was very stubborn. Even though its whole body was on fire it still held onto that sliver of life and howled out in pain. While I continued to throw fireballs at it Sola returned with both Caeda and Rio. The horrific screams of the Del’ol’as caused the two girls to shiver in fear.
“Sora!” “Master!”
“We were successful in capturing it but it is very tenacious and refuses to die so this might take a while. If the two of you want to go back you can. Because Sola and I might be here for a while.” I said to them. I could see them shivering in fear of the Del’ol’as screams. I did not want them to have to listen to it if it was scaring them.
“No, I will stay here with you. You already made me wait for an hour not knowing if you were okay or not so now you have to let me stay here.” Rio said determinedly.
“Yes, Master you can not just send us away again. We will stay here and see this through to the end. Only then will we have peace of mind.” Caeda added.
I sighed it seemed there would be no way to change the two girls’ minds so I could only nod my head and allow them to stay. “Okay, then you can stay. I will not chase you away!” Hearing my words caused the two girls to smile brightly. It seemed the fear from before was washed away by one simple statement from me.
It was almost two hours later when the Del’ol’as finally stopped its horrific screams and collapsed to the ground. The stench that came out of the top of the container was rancid as the goo and flesh of the Del’ol’as burned to ash. Once I was sure it was dead I used creation magic to open the ground underneath it and created a four meter deep hole and let the Del’ol’as’s remains to drop down inside before sealing it off.
This day was a lesson for me. There were a lot of scary strong monsters in this world that can easily take my life if I am not careful. I have many children that are mine on the way and many wives to think about before I jump into anything from now on. I do not want to leave them as widows all because I did something foolish without properly thinking it through.
