How To Save A Time Limited Young Master - Chapter 22
“Ah……”
Heloise didn’t think that they had that close of a relationship.
She was about to refuse politely, but upon second thought, Heloise found that there wasn’t any reason why she couldn’t go.
If she went to Sienna’s house, she’d be able to understand the player’s tendencies in detail, and she could also secretly ask Soma if there’s an ending that’s being prepared for Sienna.
“Alright.”
“Yes, I suppose so. You must be busy…what? Really?”
Sienna started to bounce up and down out of joy.
Her low pigtails kept fluttering like a rabbit and were extremely distracting.
“In that case, shall we go right now? We’ll reach there after walking a little from here!”
It was quite hard to completely believe Sienna’s ‘a little’, considering how she managed to mislead them previously, when the distance between Felipe Bridge and the streets of the underworld was considerable.
Heloise wanted to go over without difficulties.
“Instead of that, I’ve brought a carriage along, so let’s ride it together. The coachman will follow your instructions if you’d explain to him.”
“Wow! The carriage of a noble young lady! How exciting!”
Sienna followed after Heloise excitedly, like she herself wasn’t a noble young lady.
When Sienna explained the approximate location to the coachman, he skillfully drove the horses and brought the two people to the front of Sienna’s house.
Heloise seemed to understand Sienna’s feelings when she corrected her butler, Soma, when he referred to it as a ‘mansion’.
It was a simple two-story brick house with white smoke coming out from the chimney. It was, indeed, the house of a fallen aristocrat.
“I’m back, Soma!”
It was an evening where the sun was already beginning to set.
Her mother should be participating in a party as per usual, and her father was probably busy with his work at the Castle and the negotiations with the Marquis of Velks, so he wouldn’t say anything about her settling her own dinner once.
Just as Heloise stepped into the house after she finished reckoning roughly.
“You’ve returned, Sienna?”
“Huh? Hey! Why are you here?”
“I’m here to borrow some tools.”
In the first floor of a small house, where there wasn’t even a separate dining room, a boy, who was perched on the dining table in a poor posture, let out a playful laugh.
Rough golden hair the colour of straw, mysterious red eyes, and the crack-like wound that was scored on his cheeks.
Heloise stiffened as soon as she caught sight of him.
‘Why is this human here?’
In the meantime, the two continued to bicker with each other.
“Tools? What tools? Did you stab someone with my family’s heirloom again?”
“What do you take me for?”
“Who do you think you are?”
“I’m frail… and cute…by the way, who are you?”
The boy was about to sit down and whine pitifully, but the appearance of the unfamiliar Heloise caused him to alter his smile and ask with a rather biting expression.
Sienna looked back at Heloise, with an ‘Oh no!’ written all over her face as she turned sullen.
The important guest that she had specially invited over was left aside as they chattered amongst themselves.
Just as Sienna was about to urgently introduce something.
Heloise stopped her and spoke up first.
“Me? A guest.”
“A guest?”
“Yeah. Unlike you, I’m a formally invited guest.”
Right here, Heloise was convinced that she wasn’t mistaken in the morning, while she was on the carriage headed to take dance lessons.
‘I thought that I was mistaken and let it go, thinking that there was no way this human could appear in the middle of a busy street, but……’
It can’t be a mistake, considering how he was openly sitting in Sienna’ house.
The person before Heloise, who was stepping on the table in a collapsing two-story house, was Crown Prince Blake.
The same crown prince in the Princess Ending of <Princess Sienna> that helped her defeat her sworn enemy, Duke Lionerik, as the princess’s partner, Blake Dalbert.
While <Princess Sienna> was a game with a primary objective of collecting endings, it also had a propensity for romance simulation, so there are quite a number of options for target characters.
For example, from the ending with the butler Soma that’s the closest, to the furthest ending with the Dragon in the Lark Valley.
The flower amongst them was, as expected, the Standard Ending, and the Princess Ending’s partner, the Crown Prince.
Crown Prince Blake Dalbert.
As the fruit of the first queen’s loins, he’s the official heir to the Kingdom, but the ascension of the second queen resulted in him being unable to show his face in official events, making him the unfortunate prince.
Most of the matters that he couldn’t do were done by his younger brother, the son of the second queen… Though that was the basic story, it was all fake.
How could a powerless person let go of the position of crown prince?
Additionally, if the second queen was determined to do so, there should have been an ongoing feud between Blake and the queen.
However, there was always silence between the two.
Rather, the queen was someone that stayed up all night worrying about the first prince’s ascension to the throne.
“’Unlike you, a guest’? What about me?”
“An uninvited guest.”
“Haha. Interesting.”
As his eyes lowered, Blake laughed like he really found it interesting.
He seemed to be playing the role of a commoner to his heart’s content since his face wasn’t known by the public.
In fact, the lad appeared several times during Sienna’s childhood as an event, disguised as a commoner like this.
The reason behind the Princess Ending’s difficulty was that encounters with this boy, who was bustling around while disguised as a commoner even before <Regression> occurs, mustn’t be missed.
The reason being, while it was important to gain Blake’s favorability, Sienna’s favorability also had to increase.
After the <Regression> had taken place, in the face of a world where everything was the same yet different, Sienna’s longing and love was evoked by the freedom that Blake, who she knew before the <Regression>, possessed.
In any case, it was a very complicated game.
‘I expected this guy would be wandering around in disguise, but I didn’t expect that he’d be this close to Sienna…’
Complicated feelings arose as she looked at Sienna, who kept nagging, and Blake, who giggled while covering his ears like he found it quite annoying.
<Regression> has yet to occur.
She was slightly relieved as Sienna was busy with her part-time jobs and she was entirely responsible for Zenon, but a surge of uneasiness appeared upon seeing the duo’s closeness, which was at the level of being able to come in and out her house without prior notice.
‘At this rate, a Bad Ending wouldn’t appear instantly, right?’
Next time, when Zenon has been let out of probation, she should ask him about the extent of Sienna’s magical skill.
It still bothered her.
“What’s all this fuss about?”
Just then, the butler, Soma, who had arrived late, ended the commotion.
It seems that he went shopping for groceries, as he was carrying shopping baskets in both of his hands and on his shoulders, looking endlessly dependable.
‘I felt so reassured when he’s the butler of my electronic daughter.’
As she reminisced her dim memories, Soma discovered Blake and Heloise, and began to lecture Sienna under the guise of education.
“My lady, I’ve told you many times that you have to offer tea to guests! That’s the culture of the aristocracy!”
“Oh, right!”
“You shouldn’t be going ’Oh, right’!”
“Whenever I came over, I never had the history of getting a glass of water, much less being offered a cup of tea.”
Blake added while clearing his throat next to him.
As such, Soma’s eyes glinted as he tossed him a warning look for him to remain silent.
“I don’t think that’s what a thief that sneaked into someone else’s house would say.”
“Now you’re treating me as a thief? I’m a friend of Sienna’s.”
“Friend? But I don’t have a friend like you?”
“I think that a relationship beyond that is a little…”
“What did you say, you jerk!”
Blake, who walked past the bewildered Sienna, approached Heloise and began to observe her while circling around her openly.
“By the way, what are you doing in a house like this? You look like a well-educated daughter of an aristocrat upon first glance.”
“What do you mean by a house like this!”
He ignored what Sienna had said out of anger.
“Isn’t it common knowledge that that child is an outcast in aristocratic society?”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t know much about that. I don’t have much of a connection with mainstream society.”
“Then are you an outcast as well?”
He smiled while speaking so rudely. If Heloise had officially met him, she would have to bow her head to his highness, and become someone that has to shed tears of gratitude for being able to meet with the glory of the kingdom, but there was no need for her to treat him politely when he was hiding his identity.
Heloise spoke with a sweet smile.
“I’m not an outcast, because there’s Sienna.”
“Heloise…!”
Sienna seemed to be deeply moved, and staggered while clutching her chest. Soma frowned and shook his head while heading into the kitchen, like he was tired of listening to the prattling of children.
“That is quite an aristocratic manner of speech.”
Blake sized up Heloise with a slightly cold gaze.
Heloise straightened up and replied, as if she had nothing to hide.
“I’m talking like an aristocrat because I’m an aristocrat, is there a problem with that? On the other hand, you don’t act like a commoner either.”
“Why?”
“Fallen aristocrats find it hard to mix with both the aristocratic groups and the commoner crowd, but you seem to be living very unaffectedly.”
“I guess it’s because I don’t hold prejudices.”
“That’s possible. By the way, who are you?”
“You’re only asking that now?”
Blake let out a forced laugh.
It was partially out of ridicule and the other half was out of interest.
“Are you something like a misfortunate illegitimate son?”
Heloise pretended to be ignorant and made up a setting for him but the kid kicked that to the curb and introduced himself with his alias.
“I’m Bill. I’m a member of the Information Guild. I met Sienna when I was working part-time. There were so many part-time jobs that she’s doing.”
Heloise grinned as she stretched out her hand like she was asking for a handshake, before extending a folded fan instead with the airs of a haughty noble young lady.
“I’m Heloise Lorca. Just as you’ve mentioned, I’m a noble young lady, so I’ll omit the detailed explanation.”
