How To Save A Time Limited Young Master - Chapter 35
After weighing the pros and cons, Heloise nodded lightly after realising that she had nothing to lose.
“Very well. All I’ll have to do is report about the butler or the Marquis, right?”
“Yeah. If you’re in trouble, use an alias like ‘Bill’ over here and use the Information Guild as your excuse.”
“Alright.”
The agreement ended cleanly and efficiently.
Although it wasn’t a big deal, it felt like she’d gotten an alley, so Heloise felt a little reassured.
Perhaps Andrea felt the same as she smiled and tried to raise a suggestion to Heloise.
“Well, let’s continue our conversation and have a meal…”
When Heloise heard that.
Her eyes widened when she happened to look at the clock.
“That’s right, Medicis!”
“What?”
Heloise didn’t even have the time to explain the situation to them, and rushed out of the building.
Although astrologers were active late in the afternoon, Heloise had a curfew and she didn’t know when and how Medicis would appear.
‘I should’ve gone earlier and waited.’
But the gains she had gotten today weren’t small.
That even the butler was the Marquis’ person, and that the Marquis was engrossed in a strange religion.
Heloise consoled herself by saying that she hadn’t done anything foolish, hurriedly got on a carriage and headed for the path to the underworld.
However, when she arrived at the underworld, the gangster that she had seen before was squatting with his back against the entrance to the underworld’s alley like a gatekeeper.
“……”
“……”
The two looked at each other’s faces without speaking.
As the gangster scanned her closely without speaking, Heloise pretended to be alright, but she was quivering on the inside.
Although she’s scared, the gangster strangely didn’t pick a fight like before.
‘My evil stat really went up after helping Lou.’
It must have gone up to the point where she didn’t need to be inspected.
“I have to frequent the temple later and reduce the stats.”
Heloise praised herself for doing well even though she didn’t have a status window, ran over to the tent of the astrologer and opened the entrance with a smile.
“Excuse me!”
But it was completely empty on the inside.
“Huh?”
There were crystal balls and cards that were used by astrologers lying around, and steaming tea.
Heloise was sure that the astrologer was definitely there, but she could only find traces of Medicis but not her in the flesh.
Heloise rushed out of the tent and approached the gangster.
“Excuse me!”
“What?”
The gangster didn’t react as sensitively as he did previously.
He had even answered her.
Now, even Heloise was a so-called ‘peer’.
This wasn’t the time to care about such things though.
“Where is Medicis?”
“What?”
“No, what I mean is. The astrologer. The genius astrologer, Medicis-nim!”
“Oh……”
The gangster scratched his head, looked into the distance and said, “She left.”
“What?”
“Don’t you understand what I’m saying? There’s no business. So she left.”
“But, but the cards are still inside, and the crystal ball…!”
“Some other person will come to clean it up later. She was originally an aristocrat that came when she wanted and left when she pleased.”
How could that be?!
‘How much trouble did I have to go through just to meet with Medicis!’
Heloise leaned her back against the wall and looked downwards futilely.
When she was riding in the carriage, she was worried if she’d be able to meet with Medicis before her curfew, and yet Medicis had unexpectedly left first.
There’s no reason for the gatekeeping gangster to lie to Heloise.
Medicis came to the <Harvest Festival> and left earlier for some reason.
‘How can this be?’
As she trudged out of the underworld alley with a despondent look, Heloise encountered Peter, her coachman that was looking for her.
“My lady!”
“……Peter.”
“Where in the world have you been? Why on earth are you coming out of that place? You’re going to be in huge trouble!”
“Oh…… I took the wrong path……”
Heloise explained the situation perfunctorily with insincere excuses, and turned weakly towards the Viscount Lorca’s carriage that Peter had brought over.
“You were worried, right? I’m sorry. I, too, don’t know what’s wrong with me these days.”
“If the Lord or the Lady knows about this, I’ll be dead.”
“I know, I know. So, let’s keep today’s events a secret. Hm?”
After she raised the corners of her mouth with difficulty and gave him a wink, Peter let out a long sigh like he was helpless against her.
The coachman gave up on reproaching her, shut his mouth and began to urge the horse.
The smile was erased from Heloise’s face and she propped up her chin on the window with an expressionless face.
‘I can’t keep chasing after Medicis like this forever.’
It seems like it’s time for her to change her goal.

After the harvest festival, Heloise looked for an opportunity, and headed to Langbert Mansion without prior notice.
All that she could currently do was to observe the butler’s movements and eliminate the various variables that could occur to Zenon.
In other words, she had to judge what the butler was like again and protect Zenon.
As such, she naturally had to return to this mansion, where the two people were at.
Although Zenon said that she was welcome to come over anytime, her purpose today wasn’t to meet him.
As such, she went over any prior notice, and Zenon, who’s scheduled for a lot of studying, wasn’t able to get out of it easily.
Heloise sent the maid back with a smile, saying, “I’ll sit in the drawing room and wait until he’s done studying, so tell him to take his time in finishing.”
And when all of the maids disappeared, she got up.
It’s been almost half a year since she’d started frequenting Langbert Mansion.
The mansion’s structure was within Heloise’s grasp.
Certainly, that’s what she’d thought…
While she was walking blindly through the hallways, Heloise agnoised before a forked path, and ended up walking in a path that’s unfamiliar instead of the one she’s familiar with.
Then, a completely different view unfolded.
While the mansion’s luxurious interior remained the same, she couldn’t see any masterpieces or sculptures hanging on the wall for guests.
Additionally, considering the fact that maids and servants were strolling around in plain clothes, this place seemed to be the servants’ quarters.
Heloise instinctively felt that she would meet the butler here and entered one of the rooms randomly.
As expected, it was prepared as a maids’ accommodation, so there were three or four sets of attire for maids that were prepared.
She changed her clothes hurriedly in that room and tied up her hair neatly.
She has never been more grateful that she didn’t have pink hair like Sienna than she was today.
Heloise naturally left the room while looking about tactfully, and grabbed the broom that was leaning against the wall while whistling.
‘With this, it’ll look like I’m cleaning.’
And as she swept the floor, she turned her head here and there hectically.
She did that to locate the butler.
The butler would have been located quickly even if she didn’t put in effort.
That’s because of the loud sound of something breaking near where Heloise was sweeping.
Clang!
Her eyes widened like an astonished rabbit, and she crept over stealthily, and quickly reached the source of the sound.
And watched an astounding scene unfold there.
“Are you making a fuss when you couldn’t even complete such a simple task properly?”
“I’m, I’m sorry…….”
A maid cried while clutching the red and swollen cheek that was as though she was struck hard, and the butler was shouting angrily in front of her, with prominent blood vessels on his neck,
Heloise’s eyes grew bigger.
The maid that was slapped was the maid that pretended to be unaware on the day Heloise climbed over the wall to visit Zenon.
“That’s why those d*mned non-believers aren’t any good. There’s nothing that they can do right.”
The butler took out a handkerchief and wiped off the blood that splattered from the maid’s torn lips, before throwing it on her face.
Heloise, who was so shocked to the point where her heart pounded, looked around and hid behind a pillar inadvertently.
At the same time, the butler turned sharply and came out, beginning to walk towards Heloise’s direction.
‘W—what should I do?’
Heloise bowed her head and covered her face with her hair.
Though she barely managed to cover her face, her head wasn’t moving due to the shock she suffered.
But just then, someone came up from behind Heloise and grabbed her by the shoulder.
“Heloise?”
“Heok. Zenon!”
It was Zenon.
Heloise inhaled loudly with a gulp, and covered her mouth belatedly.
‘What is Zenon doing here? When he’s supposed to be studying, and at the servants’ quarters?’
But there was no time for her to ponder over that deeply.
She covered her mouth with one hand, and covered Zenon’s mouth with the other, and moved close to him.
Zenon looked downwards at Heloise, who blocked his mouth abruptly and quickly kept close to him, with surprise, before obediently remaining silent.
The problem lay in the butler.
It would be even more troublesome if Zenon was spotted here.
‘What should I do?’
Just as her heart kept pounding.
A servant rushed over from the other side and called out to the butler.
“Mr. Butler! The Young Master has disappeared!”
“What? What about the Count?”
“The Count of Rockford isn’t sure when the young master disappeared…”
“What use are you for, when none of you knows how to watch a child?”
The Count of Rockford was the name of Zenon’s tutor.
When Heloise turned her head to look at Zenon, Zenon’s eyes curved into a smile with a covered mouth.
A mischievous smile appeared on his face.
This rascal, so he secretly snuck out here.
His stern rebuke of a maid with a strike only lasted for a moment, as the servants were thrown into chaos.
The butler yelled at the servants to find Zenon irritably.
Zenon scanned Heloise’s maid attire with an odd gaze and asked.
“When did you become my house’s maid?”
“Hey, I’m wearing this for something else!”
Unable to hide her embarrassment, Heloise gripped the hem of her skirt.
“For what?”
When Zenon said that.
The butler’s voice became increasingly louder such that there was no one in the entire building that didn’t hear it.
“If that brat had escaped this house, all of you would have to wipe your necks and wait!”
[T/N: ‘wipe your necks and wait’ is like a threat that they’ll be beheaded.]
