Human King - Chapter 210
And Dawn knew that very well, which is why he spoke, “Hmmm…”
“This is getting hard. I can feel that the one chasing us is strong, but…I somehow feel like I actually met this one before.” Dawn said as he looked just straight right in front of him without moving back to look at Didi or anything like that as he just continued to jump from one tree to another.
What Dawn said was indeed the truth. Dawn was feeling like he met this presence already before, but he couldn’t figure out who this new presence that was trying to chase them was.
After all, it’s not like Dawn would remember every single bug and ant that he met before in his whole life. Although Dawn was a monster with a pretty good memory, even Dawn would not be able to remember shit like ants or bugs that one could see literally everywhere in the forest.
However, there was actually a clue in this situation, and that it was trying to catch up or…it was moving very fast.
That was a very essential clue as the presence was trying to catch up to them and it was moving very fast as well, and since it was moving very fast, there was a single creature that Dawn could think of that could be associated with this phenomenon.
And that would be Mabi, the hyena that Dawn just fought earlier and actually managed to survived against him even though Dawn was putting all of his powers and concentration in that battle that they had.
—So, it’s that hyena, huh…or is it? I don’t know…
Dawn thought as it was indeed the truth that he didn’t know if it was indeed the hyena that he fought earlier. After all, there was no proof that it was indeed the hyena that he fought earlier.
It would have been crazy if there was a proof or something like that when Dawn was currently running away from the presence as he tried to go to the place where Moris was supposed to be.
However, since Mabi was the only one who could run so fast just like this one presence that was trying to catch up with the goblins, Dawn was almost sure…no, he was definitely sure that this presence was Mabi, who was trying to catch up to them.
And since Dawn was sure that it was indeed Mabi who was trying to catch up to them, Dawn spoke with a heavy tone in his voice, “It’s that hyena. I’m sure of it that it is indeed that it is the hyena that we fought earlier that could move fast.”
“He’s trying to chase us, huh?” Dawn said as he raised his right hand to the side to make sure that the goblins would be able to see what he did, and it was indeed the truth that the goblins were able to see his hand.
And since they saw it, the goblins…quickly stopped moving and they stopped running as what Dawn just did was a signal for them to stop moving.
Of course, since Dawn was the one to signal the goblins that they should stop moving or something like that, Dawn himself also stopped moving as he just stayed still on top of a branch of a tall tree in the center of the southeast of the forest.
It was then that Dawn spoke again as he turned around to look at his goblins who stopped at their own each respective trees as they just waited for Dawn to speak.
Anyways, this is what Dawn said as he looked down on every goblin present in this place, “We would wait for the hyena to catch up with us and fight him since he would probably be the only one who is chasing us.”
“There’s no other monster who could possibly keep up with him, so I’m definitely sure that he’s the only one chasing us.”
“Prepare yourselves and make sure to hide your presences so that we would be able to surprise him and take him down with his guard down as he passes through here, you understand!?”
Dawn said all those words without missing a single beat and without any hesitation at all as he just looked down -at the goblins who were all looking at him.
And the goblins…of course, answered back with their own call as they raised their hands without any noise as they just proceeded to focus on their task, which is hiding their presence in their place as they waited for the presence to reach them.
And while they were doing that, Dawn was currently looking into the far distance where the presence of Mabi should be passing through with confusion deep in his mind.
Why was Dawn confused about all this situation? It was actually really simple.
And that was…
—How did he know where we were going when we didn’t even meet each other back then when we were still in the center of the southeast of the forest.
Indeed. It was weird that Mabi knew where to go to chase down the goblins even though Dawn and Mabi and the goblins have never met again after the river of blood happened.
That was why Dawn was confused about this whole situation since it should have been impossible for Mabi to know about the direction that they took.
—No, before that…where did he come from? The center of the southeast of the forest was totally void of monsters, which is why I decided to just meet up with Moris and then ravage the southeast of the forest after.
Right, this situation was much more confusing as Dawn didn’t know where Mabi came from all of a sudden.
After all, it was indeed the truth that Mabi just appeared all of a sudden, and that was indeed weird.
After all, it’s not like Mabi can just teleport or whatever or anything like that, and Dawn knew that very well.
“Hmmmm…the most reasonable explanation in this situation is that they just managed to fool my senses and the other goblins.” Dawn murmured as his eyes sharpened.
What Dawn said was the truth. That was the most reasonable…no, that was the only reasonable explanation in this situation and it was pretty clear why.
After all, Mabi and the other monsters under his command and under the three legendary hyenas’ command must have avoided the goblins’ senses for them to just suddenly appear like this right behind the goblins’ tails and then chasing after them without even any warnings or something like that.
“That’s impossible…how were they able to do it?” Dawn murmured again as he couldn’t believe that the hyenas were able to evade the goblins and his senses.
After all, it was indeed impossible to fool a goblin’s senses unless the gap in their strength is huge.
However, since Dawn was able to trash Mabi around back in the battle that they fought when the fight first started, the gap that Dawn and Mabi have between each other is definitely not long, which is why it should have been impossible for Dawn to be fooled when he was just as strong, if not stronger, as Mabi.
“No…it doesn’t matter no matter how they were able to fool my and the other goblins’ senses. Since they are already here, we just need to take them off and fight against them.” Dawn said as he turned his head towards the other goblins.
Since Dawn has already decided to just fight against Mabi and the other monsters that could possibly have come with him, there was only one thing to do before they actually engage in a battle with them, and that would be to order the goblins.
“Prepare yourselves for death.” Dawn said as he looked at the goblins.
He just suddenly dropped that bombshell that no one ever expected, but no one showed any hostile reaction to his words or anything of the sort.
After all, all goblins present in this place, ever since they started the attack on the southeast of the forest, have already prepared for death.
So…it was only natural that the goblins wouldn’t even show any reaction to this except to be fired up.
Right, the goblins’ determination and fighting spirit has been lit up as this was basically the king saying that they would be battling against monsters soon and that they should get ready.
Ever since the battle against the southeast of the forest started, the goblins have always been in the run, and they didn’t like that.
They didn’t want to be a burden to the king; they wanted to be of service to the king.
And the only way that the rough and savage goblins would be able to be of service to the king is through fighting. And all of the goblins present here knew that very well, which is why their determination was lit up when they knew that they would soon be fighting against enemies and monsters.
No matter who it is, the goblins would always be fired up as it was a service to the king.
