I, a Super God of Law, Signed a 300-year Contract with the Elf Race - Chapter 22
“Boom!”
An earth-shattering explosion sounded.
The black door shattered into countless pieces.
Even the Defense Magic Formation that had been set up shattered from the rampant power.
“What’s going on?”
“What happened?”
“An enemy attack…”
Everyone came to the courtyard when they sensed the rampant Magic Energy.
They all shuddered and averted their gaze when they saw Chris, whose entire body was shrouded in a dark aura. It was actually a necromancer.
Necromancers had become infamous on the continent ever since the Lich King’s defeat a thousand years ago. Their existence was the equivalent to that of a street rat.
Most necromancers had gone into hiding and would not easily expose themselves to the people. They were not expecting to meet a necromancer today.
From the looks of it, he did not seem friendly. It seemed like he was coming for them.
Albert was still a little puzzled at first. However, his eyes narrowed imperceptibly when he saw Burton had been imprisoned by Chris.
He had a bad feeling in mind.
“Albert, save me…”
The moment Burton caught sight of Albert, an ecstatic expression appeared on his face as he shouted out to him.
“Shut up!” Albert had a dark expression on his face.
Then, he looked at Chris and said, “Sir, you trespassed on our place and destroyed our magic formation. Isn’t this a breach of etiquette?”
“Etiquette?”
Chris, who was hiding beneath an Undead Mask, revealed a bloodthirsty smile as he gazed at the old hunchbacked man.
“There’s no need for so many rules when dealing with animals. You openly hunted the elves, violated the Ashuta agreement signed by all three races, and destroyed the continent’s peace. Are you even qualified to speak of etiquette?”
The expression on Albert’s face changed greatly when he heard that. Glaring at Burton, he said, “You bastard, you even told others about this? Do you want to die?”
They had done things cautiously because they did not want anyone to know they had violated the treaty.
Even if they were to capture the elves, they would do so secretly. Now, they had all been exposed.
Albert had already guessed what would happen if this matter were made public. Those in higher positions would definitely abandon him without a second thought to protect their reputation.
When that happened, he would be the one accused of destroying the peace of the continent. Not only himself, but everyone related to him would become sinners of the continent and remain notorious for a long time.
Albert’s body trembled when he thought of that. He wanted to slap this detestable person to death.
Chris smiled a cold and bloodthirsty smile when he looked at Albert and saw the expression on his face had changed.
The hands holding onto Burton tightened slightly, and Burton cried out in fear, “Elder, you promised me that you would let me go as long as I brought you to the elves.”
Chris only responded to Burton’s words with a cold smile.
Although the elves were naturally benevolent, they still knew how to distinguish right from wrong. Moreover, his soul came from another world.
He had his principles. In this world, he was either a friend or an enemy.
And he had only one word for his enemies. Kill!
“No, no, elder, let me go. I can be your most loyal dog and serve you forever!”
The veins on Burton’s forehead popped as the fear of death lingered over him.
He could really feel his fear of death, endless darkness, enveloping his soul.
However, at the next moment…
Chris suddenly snapped his right hand shut, and a crisp sound rang throughout the courtyard.
Burton’s head drooped as slumped to the ground. His eyes were wide open, and his breath was gone.
Chris looked at everyone in the courtyard with bloodthirsty eyes and said coldly, “Don’t worry, all of you will accompany him later.”
“Go, kill him!”
Albert had a dark expression on his face. He had no way out.
Once this secret was leaked, he would become a scapegoat. Only a dead person would not leak the secret out.
However, it was obvious that he had underestimated Chris. In less than ten seconds, the ten or so Beginner Mages had all fallen to the ground.
“Old man, are you the only one left?”
Chris directed his cold gaze toward Albert.
It had given him quite a shock seeing how Chris had dealt with his subordinates so easily. He was too powerful.
He wanted to escape, but he realized with a start that the magic elements around him had been locked.
In other words, he only had one way out now, and that was to fight.
“Great Ground Elements, please listen to my call. Unleash your infinite power and destroy everything in front of you!”
Albert’s body abruptly straightened. As he chanted, the Ground Elements around him gathered quickly toward his body.
The magic elements in the world were like a tornado that gradually formed a huge mountain in the sky.
Obviously, they wanted to use this huge mountain to squash Chris to death.
Chris was not in a rush to launch an attack even as he faced the terrifying scene in the sky. Instead, he closed his eyes.
He had mastered a total of three Magic Elements now. They were Dark, Water, and Life Magic Elements.
The Ground Element was not included yet.
He was now sensing the turbulence of the magic elements in the world and was trying to capture their flowing trajectories.
“Is he beginning to accept his fate because he knows he can’t win?”
To Albert, it seemed as if Chris had given up fighting when he closed his eyes.
The worry in his heart gradually eased, and he began feeling cocky again. What a sh*tty necromancer.
Today, I will let you die under my giant mountain of soil.
Die!
Albert roared angrily and tossed the giant mountain outwards as if he were aiming for a shot in the hoop.
This was his most famous move. He had once even used this move to defeat even High-Level Mages.
However, while he was still gloating over the fact that not even Chris could withstand his ultimate move, the mountain shattered into countless pieces and floated through the sky.
Albert could not believe his eyes. He had a stunned expression as he stood rooted to the spot.
“Impossible. How can you be so strong?”
Albert was shocked when he saw how easily Chris had neutralized his attack.
His eyes were wide open as if he had seen something unbelievable.
He did not even realize that Chris had walked over to him.
“Nothing is impossible in this world!”
Chris could have just killed Albert and not needed to waste so much time. Besides sensing the Ground Elements, he was also waiting for the devouring spell to finish thawing.
And the cooldown period had just ended.
He pressed a hand onto Albert’s head and began casting the devouring spell.
Albert yelled in fear. He felt an intense devouring power attack him and suck the power in his body away consistently. His body felt as if it had been emptied, like a pool with a gaping hole in it.
“No, no, my power!” Albert yelled in terror.
However, it was useless. Without his magic powers, Albert became even older. His shriveled skin sagged as if he had become an old man in his twilight years.
