I Am A TS Reincarnation, But I Have A Kid - Chapter 24
Saki’s eyes lit up when she saw the clothes I had changed into.
“Kawaii!”
“Yeah, thanks…”
After the treasure hunt and dinner, Saki really wanted to play with her bear.
But there was one problem.
The stuffed animal couldn’t move.
As a result, I ended up playing as a stuffed bear, which I had bought in Shibuya.
(It’s for winter, so it’s too hot…)
Saki never asked me to buy something, even if she wanted it herself.
But she had a habit of staring at things she liked.
I knew immediately that she wanted a toy heart-shaped pallet, a stuffed bear and a rabbit hoodie.
The stuffed bear I was wearing this time was one of them.
One of the reasons why Yuki and I went to Shibuya was to buy Saki something she wanted and to spoil our little angel, but I never thought I would be dressed as an animal.
(This is so embarrassing…)
I felt like I was going to burst into flames when an old man saw me buy it, but I asked Saki in Shibuya, “Are you going to wear it? (Don’t you want to wear it?)”
Saki looked at me with such innocent eyes that I had no choice but to buy the stuffed bear outfit.
I still couldn’t forget the look on Yuki’s face that day when she grinned at me and said, “You’ve changed Mika, buying such cute clothes!”
One day, I was going to get back at that black gal, or rather Sofu-chou.
“Pretty!”
“Thank you.”
“Hey, bear, cutie!”
“Yeah…”
If she was so happy, I would take my revenge on Yuki in moderation.
At least Saki liked the treasure hunt, so we decided to continue.
“Saki, now I’m going to close my eyes and count to ten and you’re going to hide the bear, okay?”
“Ai!”
I closed my eyes and covered my ears so that I wouldn’t hear any footsteps.
“…Nine, ten. Can I start now?”
“I’m done.”
When I opened my eyes and looked around the room, I saw that an object had appeared where there had obviously been nothing before.
The brown rabbit was curled up in a corner, probably imitating the way I hid it the first time.
The animal inside was probably the stuffed bear.
“Hmmm, where is it?”
“Where is it?”
“Saki, can you tell me?”
“No!”
I knew the answer, but I pretended to look for it, just like in hide-and-seek.
I passed the time appropriately by going to the bathroom or toilet, or looking in the wardrobe.
It was a bit ridiculous to think that a rabbit hid a bear and a bear found it, but who cares?
I had spent some time looking around and I thought it was time to find it, but there was one treasure for me.
“Oh, I get it!”
“You got it?”
“Yes! The treasure is here!”
Without looking for the stuffed bear in the corner of the room, I gently hugged Saki and lifted her up.
“Saki is my treasure.”
“Huh? No, I’m not. It’s the treasure.”
“Saki is the treasure?”
“No, it’s the treasure.”
I held her in my arms and rubbed her cheeks and got a soft touch from her little face.
“Umyu~”
I loved this little angel, floating in the air and squinting her eyes as if she felt good.
I was sorry about the stuffed bear, but for me, Saki was my treasure.
[ A/N – This is a sequel to the treasure hunt.
I hope that my readers will find it a bit heartwarming. ]
