I Am A TS Reincarnation, But I Have A Kid - Chapter 25
After a long morning work, I took a lunch break.
“What’s cooking?”
“It’s an omelette.”
“Yes!”
“Saki likes omelettes, doesn’t she?”
“Kya~”
Since we started living together, I had tried to find out what Saki liked to eat, and I had cooked a lot of different dishes for her, but she was always happy when she had something that children liked.
When it came to hamburgers, curries, stews and omelettes, there were times when she was jumping up and down.
She also liked fruit, so I served it to her, but when I asked her what she liked best, Saki answered strawberries.
The reason was, of course, that they tasted good, but they also looked pretty.
I think that was what made her girly.
“Good!”
“Delicious!”
Saki took a bite of the omu-rice prepared on the table and smiled very nicely.
If she was so happy, it made me want to keep cooking for her.
“Thank you for the meal.”
“We’ve had a feast.”
As I finished my omelette and was washing the dishes in the kitchen, Saki came walking up to me.
In her hand, she held a heart shaped palette.
“Makeup?”
“Makeup? Well, I can’t do makeup.”
“You used to do makeup.”
“………”
She tilted her head and asked curiously, “Didn’t you always wear makeup before?”, but it was Mika, not me.
(What should I do…)
I would like to make some excuse to escape, but Saki knew that after I washed the dishes, I would play with her until the next working day.
Speaking of makeup, the only thing I could find out on the internet when I came back from Shibuya was that Orchan was Korean style and Chai Bog was Chinese style.
(Is gyaru makeup a Japanese style then? No, now is not the time to be thinking about that.)
“Okay. Let’s go in front of the computer so I can do your makeup.”
“Ai!”
In the meantime, to get over this pinch, I decided to put makeup on Saki while watching a makeup video.
In this day and age, everything was on the internet, which I really appreciated.
“Oh, there’s a makeup video for kids. Let’s try this.”
“Will it look good? (Will it make me cute?)”
“You’ll be fine. Saki is usually without makeup, but she’s still cute…”
“But you’re cute, too.”
I would have been grateful if she had said, “Okay then,” but if she had said, “But I’m going to wear makeup,” I would have had to do it.
The only makeup I had learned was from Yuki.
I had learnt is gyaru makeup from Yuki, but there was no way I was going to turn Saki into a gyaru at such a young age.
“Let’s get started.”
“Ai!”
Watching a children’s makeup video, I applied makeup on Saki.
I hadn’t felt this nervous since the first time I met this little angel.
“……….”
“……….”
As I applied her makeup in silence, Saki didn’t speak either, as if she could sense that I was concentrating.
And our little angel’s face, which was gradually changing, became much more satisfactory.
For the first makeup I had done, it wasn’t so bad, was it?
“……….”
“……….”
“There you go.”
“Are you pretty now?”
“I’m pretty now.”
“Yeah!”
I was just about to carry her to the mirror on the side of the wardrobe, instead of the one on the pallet, to give her a good look, when the doorbell rang to announce a visitor.
“Who is it? Is it Yuki?”
I looked out through the peephole of the front door and saw Chinatsu, so I opened the door to welcome her.
“Saki, say hello.”
“Konnichiwa.”
“Konnichiwa, Chinatsu. What’s up?”
“…….!”
After seeing Saki’s face, Chinatsu seemed to blow up for some reason, and hurriedly covered her mouth and turned away.
“What the hell?”
“I’m sorry. It’s nothing. Saki, do you want me to take off your makeup?”
“What?”
“I’ll make you even prettier.”
“Really?”
“Yes, really. So, why don’t you take off that makeup?”
“Yes!”
As I was walking back to my room with Saki in my arms, I heard Chinatsu say in my ear, “What’s with that too much makeup? What kind of comedian are you?”
“…Not good enough?”
“…Your blush is too thick, she looks like a mump. You’ve got too much eyeshadow on and you’re making Saki look pathetic.”
“…I’m not very good at make-up.”
“…I’m going to teach you how to do it, because I feel sorry for Saki.”
“…Thank you.”
I was grateful to her for her consideration in whispering so that Saki could not hear us, but I was shocked to hear her say that it was not good enough, because I was satisfied with my own performance.
But in the end, I had to learn makeup from Chinatsu after this.
I’m sorry for embarrassing you, Saki.
