I Am A TS Reincarnation, But I Have A Kid - Chapter 33.1
An Important Experience
[ A/N – I just thought of something, so here it is. ]
“Phew, delicious.”
I was drinking coffee made with Colombian beans in my shabby flat.
The black liquid on the low table contained no milk or sugar, but it was quite sweet and tasty.
The waitress also taught me how to make coffee, but she explained in great length and I couldn’t remember everything.
“But if the beans are good, even if you’re an amateur, they taste so good.”
“Is it good?”
“Very good.”
“Drink. (I’ll have a drink.)”
“Hmm, not quite ready for you yet, Saki? Bitter, isn’t it?”
Saki, the girl who spoke to me, was wearing a white rabbit hoodie and was inside a brown laundry box with a small stuffed bear.
It seemed to be her favourite place to be these days.
“Just a sip.”
“Well, just a sip.”
The wooden laundry box was about the same height as a shopping basket in a department store, but was slightly longer and more rectangular in width.
It’s knitting was so tight that it would not break unless something happened to it.
But it was not safe for Saki to trip, so I held her while I took her in and out of the basket.
“Come on then.”
I lifted Saki into the air, her arms outstretched in a waiting position, and sat her on my lap.
“The cup is hot, so don’t touch it.”
“Ai!”
Children do not understand that no matter how hot it is, they have to experience it.
Saki once touched a griddle in the family restaurant and cried a lot.
Fortunately, it didn’t turn out to be a serious problem, but it was an incident that made me realize how incompetent I was as a parent.
However, since then, Saki had understood what was hot, and she had become more careful, so it was not all bad.
It’s a very important experience for a child to be brought up by his parents and vice versa.
I took the cup and brought the coffee to Saki’s mouth.
And our little angel’s brow wrinkled as she drank the black liquid.
“Niiiiii…”
“I told you it was bitter.”
“Why are you drinking?”
“Huh? Because it’s tasty.”
“It’s bad, isn’t it?
Certainly, from Saki’s point of view, coffee was just bitter and not tasty, so why drink it?
Perhaps it was natural for her to wonder why I was drinking it.
No matter how much you tried to explain to them how sweet it was, they won’t understand, because it was already tasteless.
“…It’s delicious when you’re grown up.”
“Why?”
“Why is that? I don’t know.”
“That’s weird!”
In fact, it was probably because her taste buds had changed since she was a child, but it was an important experience that Saki would have from now on.
As a parent, I looked forward to that time.
“Saki, what would you like for dinner?”
“Meatballs.”
“Meatballs. You like meatballs, don’t you, Saki?”
“Ai!”
“Do you think it might be bitter?”
“It’s good!”
Yes, that was what Saki knew.
When I rubbed my cheek against my little angel, I got a soft, puffy feeling in return.
“Um~yu!”
She’s so cute.
It was not a bad idea to have tea time every day if it makes her feel so happy.
I was glad I made coffee today.
“Nyani? (What?)”
“It’s nothing…”
But I kept rubbing my cheek against Saki’s.
[ A/N –
I can’t say for sure what day it will start yet, but from May, I’ll be starting a sequel to ‘I Am A TS Reincarnation But I Have A Kid.’
My first thought was to finish it once I had completed it, but I came up with the idea of continuing it, so I decided to write it.
It will be a comedic romance between the main character and her partner, so the genre will be reality/romance.
Of course, there will be some heartwarming moments with Saki, and it won’t be too much of a romance! It’s not really a romance story, so it’s easy to read.
So, if you like, please read that one too.
When the serialization starts, I will post another SS here. ]
