I Became A God - 27 Kerym
In the floating city of the Ancient Ones, a person was passing through, hidden by the shadows. It was Kigai, and he was paying his good friend Kerym a visit. Using the shadows, he snuck into Kerym’s house and saw him on the couch, playing with his youngest son.
“Long time no see,” Kigai said.
Kerym turned to the voice and saw Kigai. “Haven’t you heard of privacy?”
“Yeah, but I’m an assassin.”
“You’re not just any assassin. You’re the founder of the assassination guild.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever.” Kigai sat down across Kerym. “I was just passing through. So, how’s it been?”
“Eh, so and so. I’m planning on retiring and giving the crown to my eldest, but…”
“But what?”
“I don’t know if he’s ready for it. How about you? How has it been?”
“Dilya gave birth to another child, but this time, it’s a girl.”
“Congratulations, what are you naming her?”
“I don’t know. To be honest, I di-”
Kigai was cut off when the floating island suddenly shook and a loud explosion could be heard.
“What the hell was that?” Kerym asked.
“How should I know?” Kigai peeked through the windows and saw a large smoke cloud in the distance.
“Stay here, daddy has to take care of something, ok?” Kerym placed his son in his crib and went to Kigai. “We better check it out.”
Kigai nodded and the two left the house, heading for the smoke cloud. Kigai arrived first and Kerym arrived shortly after. It didn’t take long as the two were very fast.
Kigai watched as the smoke started disappearing, a silhouette of a person appearing inside it. “There’s someone inside there.”
Kerym nodded, looking at the silhouette. He didn’t know what the silhouette was, but if it was an enemy, he was ready to fight.
Guards appeared as the smoke cleared up. Archers drew their bow, aiming at the silhouette in the smoke.
Eventually, the smoke disappeared and a shirtless male Lolleon was in the smoke; it was Hoemis.
Hoemis looked around, seeing the guards. Some held shields, while some had weapons. He looked at the archers aiming at him. Looking around, he saw two people catch his attention, Kigai, and Kerym.
“Who’s that?” Kigai asked Kerym.
“I don’t know. It’s not Anhur as he doesn’t look old,” Kerym whispered to Karl. Kerym turned his head, looking at Hoemis. “Who are you? Why have you destroyed a part of our city?”
Hoemis started walking to Kigai and Kerym, taking his time. “My name’s Hoemis. I didn’t mean to destroy your city, but I didn’t know how to get up to it, so I just jumped. I jumped a bit higher than I thought and crashed.”
Kerym was shocked. He had never heard of anyone jumping all the way to the city, that was simply impossible. “Stop right there, don’t come any closer. It’s hard to believe that you jumped all the way up here.”
Hoemis stopped. “You don’t have to believe me. I’ll be out of your hair soon enough, I just came here for one thing.”
“And what is that one thing?”
“Someone told me that there are four strong people here. ‘The Great Four’ or something. I came here to have a spar with them.”

“They are busy and don’t have time for you,” Kerym lied. “Leave, or we will be forced to take action.”
“I don’t think you understand. I’m not taking no for an answer.” Hoemis began walking towards Kerym and Kigai again.
“Tsk. Well, this is your fault.” Kerym raised his hand. “Archers ready! Fire!” Kerym said, bringing his hand down.
Numerous archers fired at Hoemis, showing no mercy. The arrows were fast and strong, but that didn’t matter to Hoemis. They bounced off of his skin harmlessly, not even leaving a mark.
Hoemis continued walking, not bothered by the arrows.
“He’s a strong one alright. Do you need any help in taking him down?” Kigai told Kerym.
“No, I got this.” Kerym motioned for the guards and archers to stand down.
The guards and archers backed away, making sure they wouldn’t get caught in the fight. They knew just how powerful Kerym was.
“You said you wanted to fight the great four? Well, I’m one of them. I’m Kerym, The Firstborn.”
Hoemis continued approaching. “You’re in the great four? Well that makes things a lot easier.” He motioned for Kerym to attack him. “Come on.”
“Tsk.” Kerym didn’t like it when people told him what to do, and he especially didn’t like it when they looked down on him.
Kerym took off his shirt, throwing it to the side. He closed his eyes as a red aura even lopped him. Red markings appeared on his skin, as two pairs of arms appeared on his shoulders.
Opening his eyes, it became a glowing white, staring at Hoemis. Kerym took a deep breath, his chest rising. He held his breath and charged at Hoemis.
Hoemis didn’t react and only watched Kerym, waiting to see what he would do.
Kerym was annoyed once again. Hoemis didn’t get into a fighting stance and only stood there. Lifting his arm, he swung it, trying to punch Hoemis.
Hoemis tilted his head to the side, but another fist came flying at him, making him duck. He had to react fast as another fist came flying at him. Using his forearm, he redirected the fist and punched Kerym with his other hand.
Kerym moved his six arms to block the punch, making sure to plant his feet on the ground, but he was still moved back.
Kigai watched from the sidelines, amazed by the fight. He knew how strong Kerym was, so it wasn’t an easy feat to move him back, especially when he was using all of his arms to block.
“You’re pretty strong, but what’s the use of six arms when you can’t even hit me?” Hoemis said, taunting Kerym.
This made Kerym even madder than before, the red aura around him glowing brighter.
