Neike, as if to prove he is the protagonist of this story, possesses genius talents in most fields.
Talent, they say, is always a bit unfair, but Neike’s talent goes beyond unfairness.
For instance, if Neike chose the path of a warrior, he could become a true ‘Great Warrior.’
If he chose the path of magic, he could become an archmage, a title that has been extinct since Odius.
Hyeon is Neike’s half-sibling.
This means Hyeon shares 50% of the same genetics as Neike.
Naturally, she also possesses genius talents in most fields.
However, her talents lean more towards physical combat than magic.
Though her magical talents could make many geniuses look average.
Theo, having regained his senses, asked Langkter.
“Have you ever met this person named Hyeon who requested the experiment?”
“Just once, O Great Warrior of Light.”
“When did you see her?”
“About 3 years ago, she visited the Order to see the Practitioners who were to be experimented on. That was the last time.”
“Tell me everything you know about her appearance and anything she might have said.”
“I have a report organized for easy reference. It will take some time to find, but I can bring it now.”
After a moment’s thought, Theo spoke again.
“Are there reports on other information? For example, reports on those who are in constant communication with [Turning White].”
“Of course, O Great Warrior of Light. We have been continuously monitoring the situation of three individuals and documenting it. Though, the information we gathered wasn’t much.”
Theo nodded.
‘Just like in this story, efficient and thorough. Perfect for delegating tasks related to the Order.’
Though doing it himself would be the safest and surest, Theo is currently too busy, needing at least ten bodies.
Excluding 8 hours for sleep and personal hygiene, he has 16 hours left in a day.
He usually allocates 8 of those hours for training and eating, leaving him with only about 8 hours of spare time.
However, there’s something he needs to settle before taking in Langkter.
Theo asked Sara.
“Sara. What should we do with Langkter?”
Startled by the mention of Langkter, Sara snapped back to reality and answered.
“Honestly, I want to stab and kill him right now. But that doesn’t seem like a good idea.”
“Why do you think that?”
“Killing him now would only be saving him. I think it would be better to make use of him for a long time.”
“I see.”
Theo also asked the other Practitioners.
“What do you guys think?”
Since Sara is the leader of the Practitioners, it was likely that most would agree with her opinion.
‘Sara is quite rational for a Practitioner, so she wouldn’t suggest killing him.’
That was why Theo asked Sara for her opinion first. Even if she had suggested killing Langkter, Theo was confident he could persuade her otherwise.
The current Practitioners, though unruly, are excellent fighters.
Pretending to listen to their opinions was essential if he wanted to make use of them.
Sure enough, the other Practitioners shared a similar opinion to Sara’s.
Billy and Mike, with a smirk, said to Langkter,
“Be thankful to us, Langkter bro. You’re alive because of us.”
“Agreed. So, bring us a plate of that damn delicious steak. No, make it two plates each.”
Unable to hide his pleasure, Langkter replied, “Of course!”
Langkter hurried off to where the chef was.
Soon after, Langkter returned, balancing new plates of steak in his palms.
Billy and Mike, bleeding from their heads, chewed on the uncut steak voraciously.
“Ah, f*cking delicious. I could eat this steak for a month straight and not get tired of it.”
“Agreed. Let’s replenish the blood we lost. Losing so much blood made me dizzy.”
Thinking, ‘This should settle any obligations between the Practitioners and Langkter,’ Theo said to Langkter, “Archbishop, if you’ve finished your meal, let’s talk in private.”
Food was still piled in front of Langkter.
However, he immediately nodded,
“I finished eating a while ago, O Great Warrior of Light! I know a good room for us to talk. Please, follow me.”
Langkter quickly got up, ready to lead the way.
Following him, Theo said to the others,
“Those who have finished eating, please follow. Those who haven’t, please continue your meal.”
Taylor, Fyat, and Claire rose from their seats to follow Theo.
Among the Practitioners, only Sara followed Theo.

Inside the office located in Langkter’s mansion, Langkter, along with his assistant, piled reports related to [Turning White] on the office desk.
Theo sat regally in the chair in front of Langkter’s desk, as if it were his own seat.
Leaning back in the chair, Theo quickly went through the reports.
The reports were over a thousand pages long, but Theo managed to read all of them in less than 30 minutes, thanks to speed-reading magic powered by a device he got from Sonya.
Theo spoke to Langkter, who stood before him with his hands politely clasped.
“So, to summarize, the permanent Angelification experiment is less than halfway completed. The current whereabouts of Hyeon of [Turning White], are unknown, and you’ve been instructed to contact them once the progress exceeds half.”
“That’s correct, O Great Warrior of Light.”
“Why hasn’t it reached halfway, despite years of work?”
“Due to the utmost secrecy required for this research, we’ve run into many setbacks. It’s a top-secret matter, not just for the Order but also for the Practitioners.”
Theo looked at Sara.
Sara nodded and replied,
“That’s right. No matter the task, this bastard Langkter never gave us a clear reason. Until hearing the truth from you, Theo, it was only a suspicion that he was using us for some ulterior motive.”
Theo pondered for a moment.
‘To draw out Hyeon, we’ll need to increase the progress of the Angelification experiment.’
In the story, Hyeon appears a few years later as one of the top executives of [Turning White].
However, given Hyeon’s abilities, she would already have significant influence within [Turning White] at the current time.
Hyeon may share the same bloodline as Neike, but unlike the naively innocent Neike, she’s cunning.
Lying about the progress of the experiment would likely expose us.
But she’s not truly loyal to [Turning White].
She’s only using them for their excellent resources.
‘If we can use Hyeon as an internal spy… we could turn [Turning White] inside out.’
The first step is to push the progress of the Angelification experiment past half.
Theo said to Langkter,
“All data and reports related to the Angelification experiment. This isn’t everything here. Hand over all the data and reports to me.”
“It’s possible, but… may I ask why, O Great Warrior of Light?”
“I aim to accelerate the experiment’s progress to more than half as soon as possible and meet this woman named Hyeon. We have excellent researchers on our side. Naturally, maintain a close relationship with [Turning White] moving forward.”
“Ah, understood…”
Langkter ordered his assistant to bring all data and reports related to the Angelification experiment.
Pointing to a section of the report, Theo spoke, “And these top three individuals closely interacting with [Turning White].”
“Yes. Just command us, O Great Warrior of Light. Shall we publicize it? I assume at least dismissal, at most execution, would be the outcome.”
Theo shook his head.
“No, leave them be for now. Until I say so.”
Langkter, with a puzzled look, asked for clarification.
“Of course, if you command so… but may I ask why? Don’t you, the Great Warrior of Light, want to expel those closely associated with [Turning White] as soon as possible?”
“That’s correct. However, it’s to see the bigger picture.”
Langkter still didn’t understand what Theo was saying.
“What does that mean…?”
“As soon as we show signs of making this public, they will wreak havoc within the Order. Sending large knight squads to several locations… they have the capability to do so. Who do you think will benefit the most from that?”
“Ah. I understand now, O Great Warrior of Light. Thank you for enlightening this foolish one.”
“So, continue to leave them be. Of course, keep monitoring their movements.”
“Understood!”
Langkter nodded repeatedly, impressed.
Of course, Theo had a different true intention.
‘When I contact Hyeon… I’ll also push the reports about the insiders on her.’
If he successfully recruits Hyeon as an inside spy—
Then, nobody could stop him.
