I Became the Fiancé of a Crazy Heroine - Chapter 11-2
Meanwhile, Duke Adelaira’s mansion, Hanette’s room.
Hanette slowly opened her eyes and sat up.
Even though she had fallen asleep drunk, her head felt clear.
As she stared blankly into space, the events of the previous day came flooding back to her.
‘Ugh… I’m in trouble.’
Hanette sighed and ran her hand through her hair.
Although she had been drunk at the time, she remembered everything she had done and said.
She had blabbered on about pointless things in front of Sion and even brought up the subject of his successor.
Fortunately, she hadn’t gone as far as to say she would run away before getting married.
“I shouldn’t have drunk that strong stuff.”
Usually, she would buy various types of alcohol and take turns pretending to be drinking them so that the escort knights would be confused, and it wouldn’t look like she was wasting money on alcohol.
However, because she was with Sion at the time, she had shown off by drinking expensive alcohol by the bottle.
‘Oh no… what have I done…’
Hanette paced back and forth with her hands covering her face.
The events of that night were etched in her mind.
She had prevented Sion from leaving by deceiving his parents, threw off her clothes, and asked if he was excited to confirm his feelings.
She was so embarrassed that she couldn’t even lift her head.
‘What should I do? Ah, really… Why did I think, I have to show off? Stupid me.’
Even in the midst of it all, she remembered Sion said.
‘You’ll regret it when you wake up.’
As he had predicted, she was filled with regret and wanted to erase all the memories of yesterday.
“Should I pretend not to remember? Should I say I don’t recall? Ugh…but I can’t just ignore him either…”
After much deliberation, Hannett eventually got out of bed.
But no matter what she did, nothing would change.
She needed to change her clothes and go see Sion.
‘I’ll figure it out somehow.’

Adelaide’s mansion, Zion’s room.
Sion finished breakfast and prepared to leave, as he had received a letter saying that Limpia Machina had been found, and he wanted to confirm it himself.
If he couldn’t get enough of them, he would have to gather more Limpia Machina.
‘It takes a lot of time to grow. I could get anything else if I had the money, but there’s little supply for this.’
Even though Limpia Machina was not particularly useful, and it was not easy to obtain.
It grew in places where human hands couldn’t reach, and it was often discarded because there were no buyers. There were even cases where people found it but didn’t bother to pick it up.
But because of its high survival rate, it could be stored for a long time without withering.
‘I’ll need more money if I want to buy holy water.’
Sion had already received a considerable amount of money from Fred, and he had saved some money as well.
But he might need to get more Limpia Machina, and the prices of other items were also not cheap.
He thought he might have to ask Fred for more support.
‘Maybe I’ll use Hanette as an excuse to ask for more money. If I’m going to be with a crazy person, I need a lot of money…’
Right then, there was a knock on the door from outside.
Hanette cautiously opened the door and looked inside.
Sion just stared quietly, recalling what had happened yesterday.
“What… What is it? Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I’m sure my sister knows better.”
“I… I don’t remember very well.”
“Is that so? I should have checked the contents inside. Gathering courage, I could have calmed my fluttering heart…”
“Stop it! I made a mistake, so stop it!”
Hanette clapped her hands together and shouted.
Sion chuckled and approached Hanette.
“Why? You don’t remember? You were taking off your clothes so well.”
“Hey! I only took off my coat!”
“If I had left yourself alone, you would have taken off your shirt and skirts too. Why would you do that? Did you really want to excite me?”
“It was just a mistake because I was drunk. Let’s forget about it!”
“Did being drunk really reveal your true nature?”
“No, it didn’t!”
Hanette blushed and looked down.
Sion enjoyed her reaction for a moment before eventually stopping laughing.
“I’ll stop here today because I’m busy. Don’t do it again next time.”
“…Where are you going?”
“I’m going to my hometown. I have something to do.”
“Are you going alone?”
“Well, if you’re not coming with me, then I’ll go alone. Do you want to come with me?”
“Sure. I’ll come with you.”
“…?”
Sion is puzzled and can’t continue speaking.
Hannet doesn’t understand that look and frowns.
“What? Shouldn’t we look like we’re getting along well?”
“Well… that’s true, but…”
“If you go alone, won’t Lord Laird think it’s strange? It would be better if we go together, right?”
“… ”
After a moment’s thought, Sion nods his head.
It wasn’t entirely wrong.
He just had a little doubt, because Hannet suggested it first.
‘It’s better than nothing. Even Duke would like it.’

Meanwhile, Laird’s mansion’s office room.
Fred was looking out the window lost in thought.
He had heard that Sion would stop by for a while, but he wasn’t very happy about it.
It had been some amount of time since their engagement ceremony, so why would Sion come alone?
“Is it because he still can’t get close to Hannet?”
The engagement was forced, but it was still a bit disappointing.
They should have gotten closer before the wedding to prevent any discord.
Of course, it was possible to fall in love after marriage, but it wasn’t a common occurrence.
‘To satisfy the Duke’s selfish daughter…’
A carriage was coming through the gate.
The carriage stopped in front of the mansion, and Sion appeared from inside.
And there was one more person behind him.
“Hmm? Why is Hannet…?”
Fred’s eyes widened as he stared at the two.
They were talking to each other and looked quite intimate, almost like a married couple.
‘If I want to solidify that relationship, Sion has to be more assertive. I’ll have to give him more money for that.’
