I Bit Everyone and Became the Strongest Zombie Cultivator - Chapter 179
<Would you like to learn this new skill?>
<Yes/No>
“YES!” I screamed.
A few rooms from where Wu Jia and I were, I overheard the nurses talking about the events that took place. They were still exhausted but their Qi Cores have stabilized by now, thanks to me providing first-aid with my Holy Element.
“Do you think she can save her?” One of the nurses asked in a whisper.
“If he can’t do it, then no one else can. Did you see how he reattached himself during the Red Sea Tournament? It was the most insane cultivation technique I’ve ever seen.”
“Yeah, that gave me goosebumps. If he can do something like that with his Holy Element, then we don’t have to be anxious about anything.”
“Let’s just hope and pray that he would be successful.”
“Oh, and now that you mentioned it… did anyone see his especially troubled face when he entered the room? That was not the look of someone who’s worried about a fellow cultivator.”
“Yeah, he looked like he was mulling over his wife or something.”
“Wu Jia, that lucky woman. The two of them are probably going out.”
“Not just going out, they’re probably lovers.”
“Why do you think that?”
“Didn’t you see how he acted during the finals? He fought against White when he had enough power to escape from there. Clearly he was trying to save his lover from him. He probably thought that he wasn’t that obvious but I could see it clearly.”
“Yeah, when the attack happened, didn’t you see the two of them make eye contact? Yongrui’s eyes is screaming ‘I will protect you’ or something like that.”
“Kyaaa~ how dreamy!”
“That’s all the more reason why we should pray for his success. Yongrui is a blessing to all the shelters out there. He single-handedly stopped the Qi Current, or so that’s what I heard from our Shelter Leader. If he gets distressed over the loss of his wife, then it would not bid well to all the shelters here.”
“Yeah, he’d probably go out of control, annihilate all the zombies here, annihilate all the shelters, and then kill himself.”
“You know what, I can see that happening. That just gave me goosebumps!”
“Stop talking, let’s start praying. Wu Jia needs to survive at all costs!”
“Yeah, let’s do that.”
“Wait!”
“What is it this time?”
“Who do you think proposed first?”
“That’ a good question! I think it’s Wu Jia. Yongrui seems to be the type to wait for the right moment so maybe Wu Jia was the one who took the initiative.”
“But don’t you think Yongrui can be a little aggressive as well?”
“Yeah, in bed. With that kind of body, he probably has the stamina of a horse.”
“Cooking rice? Kyaa~ that sounds dreamy!”
“…..”
…
‘Stop! Stoooop!’ I screamed in my head as I shut off my ears. After overhearing their far-fetched assumptions and conclusions, I just can’t bear to listen anymore. It’s as if I lost my precious brain cells, listening in on them.
Yeah, listening in on them was a bad choice. Now all those images in my head just won’t disappear. How could they do that. They must’ve been famous hypnotists in their past life or something. Those words leave a lot to imaginations… and I have an especially imaginative mind.
Sigh~ I hate this.
<Ti-ring!>
<Congratulations! You’ve learned the Skill: Qi Control>
“Thanks System, you didn’t want to interrupt me listening in on their conversation right? That’s why you gave me such a late heads-up. That’s very thoughtful of you.” I muttered.
<Notice: The System is signaling that you don’t have to thank her. Instead, the System expresses her gratefulness for your existence. Without you, the System cannot exist. Thank you, Yongrui>
“Yes, I’ve been meaning to say that as well, Yongrui.” Hui-ying spoke in my mind. “I just couldn’t bring it up since I’m so embarrassed to say it in your head.”
“Thanks, you guys. I’m really grateful to the two of you as well. If it weren’t for the two of you, I would’ve still been going all over the place, biting everything that I could bit. Really, rabid humans are an uncivilized bunch.”
Hui-ying giggled at my comment.
Moving on!
Now that I got my new skil: Qi Control, something in my mind underwent an extreme change as I understood the flow of Qi Energy even better. Perviously, my eyes could just see Wu Jia’s voluptuous body but now, I can clearly see her Qi Energy Flow. Compared to mine, it was erratic, kind of like a jumbled mess with a vague appearance of the nervous system.
I panicked in my head a little bit since I didn’t know what to do. But after a few seconds, I realized that the Qi Control is just the second form of the Blood Control. If I tried controlling it like how I would a blood flow, then that should make things easier.
A trail of Qi left my fingertips as I touched Wu Jia by the stomach. I could almost feel a nose bleed coming out of my nose… not because of how erotic this situation is, but because I lost control of my Qi Energy for a split second after that skin contact. I think I must’ve ruptured one of my veins near my nose… this is bad.
After putting cotton on my nose, I continued forming my Qi Energy into thin strands, letting it flow through Wu Jia’s body in the direction of her Qi Energy Flow.
Empty your mind, Yongrui. You can’t lose focus.
I could feel my Qi Energy Flow slowly interacting with Wu Jia’s Qi Energy Flow. Slowly, I could feel a link forming in between the flows, just like how a bridge connects two mainlands together. It was subtle but I could feel myself gaining more control over her Qi Energy Flow. Just a little bit more and I would fully understand how her Qi Energy flows all over her body.
Then she moaned.
