I Bit Everyone and Became the Strongest Zombie Cultivator - Chapter 213
“Ye— ”
Before I could potentially kill myself by stacking my Skills and further infecting myself with the virus, a hand suddenly grabbed me by my shoulders, gripping it tightly. The hand didn’t belong to anyone I know. At first, I thought that the hand belonged to one of the cultivators that belonged to the Battalions but upon seeing the clothes of the person grabbing me, I realized that my thoughts were hugely misplaced.
“Young Master Yongrui, you don’t have to do that.” The man told me. the weirdest thing wasn’t the fact that he was suddenly grabbing me by the shoulder, the weirdest part was that he actually appeared out of thin air. Even though I’m not using my Time Element at the moment, I should’ve sensed him approaching me even if it’s just by a little. But no, one moment there was no one there, the next moment he was there.
Aside from that weird phenomenon, the man was wearing some sort of legendary white armor that shone even though there were no lights around. He was also carrying a Broadsword on his back. I hate to admit it but the guy is actually a few inches taller than me and his body leaned to the muscular side, but not that muscular. It doesn’t seem like he came from a different race though, he had black hair, black eyes, and the most Asian appearance I’ve ever seen.
“Step back, Young Master, we’ll take care of these guys for you.” He said, unsheathing the Broadsword on his back and charging towards the Meatpiles.
There’s no way he could gain enough speed after carrying such a Heavy Broadsword with the purest of Qi Energy… right? But I was wrong once again, his acceleration was too fast that it only took a hundredth of a second for him to reach where the Meatpiles were. With one swing of his sword, he brought down one of them.
What? Just like that? In an instant?
The longer I watched the guy swing his sword and kill the Meatpiles one by one, the more questions popped in my head. I tried detecting his current cultivation level but he was just too powerful for me. He’s probably ten times stronger than Luxor, and he’s the strongest guy I’ve ever met. And why is he calling me young master? Is that how they address those who are a little low on their cultivation? I mean, I’m not that young, to be fair.
“Fwit~!” He suddenly let out a shrill whistle after slicing the Fifth Meatpile in the horde.
Suddenly, the dark skies opened, and out came horses with wings on their backs. I don’t know where they came from but they must’ve come from the skies. These horses had white coats and it seemed like they wore the very same armor that the mysterious man wore. Why are horses wearing armors? What is going on here?
After further inspection, I realized that there were people riding on the horse’s back. They too were wearing White armor and their cultivation was boundless as well. All of us combined are incomparable to their strength, that’s how powerful they were.
And yes, I still have no idea what’s happening here.
“Hey, Leonard, why are you trying to show off in front of the Young Master?”
“I’m sorry, I just got a tad bit excited after seeing him in the flesh.” Leonard, the mysterious man who suddenly appeared beside me, scratched his head as he nonchalantly addressed the lady who was riding on the pegasus.
She snickered as the pegasus landed on the ground, a dozen or so pegasus touched down as well, and along with them came their riders. If this is a novel, then surely something awesome is bound to happen sure, right? There’s no way these mysterious people got nothing in store for them.
“Young master, sorry we arrived late. We only recently received the report that you have arrived in the Middle Plane and as such, we came to pick you up.” Unexpectedly, the lady respectfully addressed me as she bowed down in reverence. Glancing sideways towards that Leonard guy, she gestured that he too should bow down. In a few seconds, the riders and the horses were all bowing towards me as if I was their long-lost master or something.
“Wait, there seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding here…” I said, trying to understand my current situation. Natalia and the others were having a hard time taking it in as well. And that’s why they stood behind me, awaiting my explanation on things.
“You are Tang Yongrui, are you not? Son of both Tang Yichen and Tang Daiyu. Your grandfather is Tang Se, is it not?” The lady asked me, seemingly confused as well.
“That’s right, how do you know that?” I asked.
The lady stared at me for half a minute before clearing her throat. Turning to Leonard, she gave him a few orders before addressing me once again. “Leonard, please clear out the horde here so we can get a move on. As for the residents here, we will help them rebuild their Settlement and fortify it so it won’t suffer any damage when another horde attacks. Please hang on for a moment, Young Master, we will tell you everything as soon as we get to the Sky Kingdom.”
“The Sky Kingdom?”
“So no one has told you about the Sky Kingdom, Young Master? Very well, we’ll do our best trying to explain it to you but for now, please remain still as we tend to your wounds.” She continued.
Well, even though I have no idea who these people are or what kingdom they’re from, I could tell for a fact that they weren’t the enemies… or at least, not for now. That’s why I didn’t retaliate when they gathered all of us around and started healing our wounds and replenishing our Qi Energy.
And because of the pure Qi Energy they were releasing, my Automatic Qi Absorption Skill suddenly activated. I felt my Qi Cores suddenly taking in massive amounts of Qi ENergy which forced me to cultivate. To make the story short, my cultivation increased by three levels after having absorbed their Qi Energy. It made me feel guilty but there was nothing I could do about it.
While all those were happening, the other mysterious people who came started rebuilding the entire Settlement, turning it into what seemed like a heavily fortified city in the middle of the valley. They also started planting a few mysterious crops and refilling the livestock as if that was a very normal thing to do. In just a matter of minutes, this group of people turned a hopeless situation into a reset, making the Graudon Settlement more beautiful and more defensive than before, while also providing enough resources so that no one would starve in the next few years.
Who are these people?
“Hey, Sect Master, who are these people, do you know them?”
“If I knew, I would’ve told you by now.” I whispered towards her. “Somehow, they know my parents and my grandfather. And for some reason, they are calling me Young Master or something… I have no idea.”
“Maybe you’ve got those… you know, a prominent figure in the world of cultivation as your grandfather or something,” White told me.
“That may be plausible, or maybe, Master Yongrui came from a line of powerful cultivators but they kept it a secret from him, making him an inheritor of something that made him a Young Master.” Zenith joined in. “That makes more sense, right?”
I stared at Zenith open-mouthedly. Although she was a bit slow when it comes to understanding what I say, she actually thinks things through more thoroughly than I had expected. Her assumption actually makes a lot of sense.
The others seemed to agree as well since they didn’t say anything after that anymore.
For the remainder of their rebuilding of the Settlement, our group eagerly waited for them to explain what was going on. Luxor insistently asked me if I knew of those people but I couldn’t tell him anything. In any case, he was extremely grateful that they came to our aid. And that’s all that matters.
When the process was done, the Graudon Settlement finally looked like a legitimate Settlement in my eyes. Its walls stood tall on both sides of the valley and some sort of barrier surrounded it. The lady went on to explain that the barrier is powerful enough to keep an Astral Cultivator from going in. I didn’t know what an Astral Cultivator was but as it turned out, it was a higher realm of cultivation, higher than the Heavenly Realm, well, more on that later. The Settlement also experienced a massive influx of resources starting from crops, cattle, and elixirs, and pills that would greatly help their cultivation.
And as for me, I secretly turned the rabid humans from the horde as my rabid human subordinates. Now, the overpowerful Meatpiles are a part of my team, no one could probably stop me here in the Middle Plane… hopefully.
That said, the lady finally came up to me once again, cupping her hands and bowing towards me. “Once again, we’re glad to meet the Young Master. We are the Sky Knights, under direct rulership of the Tang Sect. Welcome, Sect Master.” She said and the others followed, imitating her gestures.
Someone? Anyone? Just… please tell me what’s going on here.
