- 61 First confrontation with Long Dahai Part 2
That dress, don’t you think it would look good on me? If you get it for me I’ll make sure you won’t regret it” The girl called out seductively while holding onto his arm, bringing Long Dahai out of his trance. Although she was jealous of Tao Keke appearance and the reaction she got out of Long Dahai she still managed to keep her envy well hidden.
‘So what if that dress matches her. It would probably look better on me!’ she thought to herself as she cast her eyes towards Tie Zhu. ‘Besides, judging by her boyfriend, even though he is handsome it doesn’t matter if he is just a poor beggar, they won’t be able to afford it anyway!’ Her thoughts continued, as she imagined th looks of embarrassment plastered on their faces once Long Dahai bought the dress for her.
“Yes… Yes! I think it would look great on you! Hahaha” he called out loudly. “Hey you, saleswoman. I would like to purchase this dress now.” he called out smugly.
“I.. I’m sorry sir, this couple over here have already decided to purchase it and there is no other similar dress.” The saleswoman stuttered. Just from his extravagant appearance she could tell that he was a rich second generation child and did not want to offend anyone, however she knew that despite his appearance Tie Zhu was not ordinary either.
After hearing the saleswomans response Long Dahai finally looked to the side and noticed Tie Zhu. “Huh, him? Hahaha, look at how he is dressed. He probably can’t afford anything in this shop and is taking you for a joke! Hey kid, why don’t you just let be buy the dress, I’ll even pay you double the price! It looks like you need it more than me, Hahaha.” he laughed loudly as he approached Tao Keke.
“Hey young lady, why don’t you come..!” He continued lecherously as he approached, however before he could finish his sentence he was abrubpty stopped, as Tie Zhu had suddenly appeared in front of him, stopping him in his track.
“What do you think your doing, I’m sorry but it’s not for sale. Go away!” Tie Zhu said coldly as he tightly gripped Long Dahai’s outstretched hand, unaware of the pressure he was exerting.
“L.. Let go of me! Get your filthy hands off me, do you know who I am?!” Long Dahai painfully stammered as he struggled to break free of the vice like grip, however despite his struggles he was shocked to discover that he could barely budge an inch.
“H.. H.. Help! Big brother bear, come! Help me take care of this peasant!” He shouted in panic at the top of his lungs as he continued to break free of Tie Zhu’s grip.
“Pat pat pat!” As if like a wild boar, the sound of heavy footsteps rapidly approached, followed by a figure of a hulking mass of a man that could easily be confused for a beast.
“Young Master! What happened… Let go of him!” The bulky man called out slowly in a deep low voice.
“Hah, you better do what he says, otherwise you’ll Ah!… ” Long Dahai began to yell in arrogance, while still in an attempt to break free. However before he could finish his sentence his own fist suddenly flew into his face as Tie Zhu finally let go of his wrist.
“Young Master..!” The hulking man called before rushing to Long Dahai to see if he was alright.
Because his voice was so loud, he had already attracted many onlookers to the situation, and when they saw that Long Dahai had accidentally hit himself, the reactions were mixed between a subtle mocking laughter and a wincing for his embarrassment. Even the woman that Long Dahai had come in with had her face fidden behind her palms in embarrassment.
Even Tie Zhu was somewhat shocked as he did not mean for Long Dahai to hit himself, however he did not feel a shred of sympathy for Long Dahai, as his mocking demeanour had unknowingly aroused an unusually twisted sense of anger.
If it had been only a few days ago perhaps he would have only felt a little annoyance or slight anger, however what he was feeling now had even caught him off guard, as he had a sudden urge to spill blood. In fact, If one had looked closely enough into his eyes they would notice that his pitch black round pupils suddenly flickered momentarily into a somewhat slit shapethat flashed with deep red and golden streaks.
‘What’s happening to me? I can usually control my emotions easily!’ He thought to himself in shock, ignoring his surroundings.
“…”
“Ouch.. Ah what’s that? You’re scared speechless now aren’t you! Huff huff” He wheezed. “I’ll give you three choices. The first, if you don’t want to lose an arm then apologise to me now and hand over the dress and beg for you life while calling me grandpa. The second, I’ll even pay you double the price of the dress, but your girlfriend comes with me.. Hahaha or the third, you can lose both your arms, your girl and the dress.. Hahahahaha” he cried out like a madman, causing all the onlookers to look at him with disgust while at the same time feeling sympathy for Tie Zhu.
‘Haha, I’m a genius, no matter what he chooses, everyone will look down on him for being a coward. Even though he will most likely choose the second option who cares. For a woman of that quality it will be worth it. I’ll make sure he witnesses everything I do to his girlfriend and make him regret ever messing with me. Long Dahai!’ He thought smugly to himself.
‘Ahhh! KILL, NOOO, RIP THIS MAN TO SHREDS… AHHH, WHY ARE THESE THOUGHTS RUSHING TO MY MIND… I CAN’T!”
“Hey girl, how much is that dress Hahaha?” he laughed as he pouted to the saleswoman, already anticipating that Tie Zhu would pick the second option.
Because the sudden turn of events had happened so fast, the saleswoman was still in shock. Because she did not want to offend anyone, she first turned to head towards Tie Zhu, however his face had appeared as if he was struggling with a decision as now had his eyes closed.
“Well?!” He shouted impatiently.
“O.. One million.. The dress costs one million.” She stammered in fear, feeling a sense of sadness and sympathy for Tie Zhu as she said so.
“What! One million?” Even Long Dahai called out in surprise and regret.
