I Hate Systems - Chapter 1082: Central Plains: Mine Of System Elixir
[A parallel universe merged into our multiverse. The supreme entity of that world, the master of mind and soul, Jyorta Bone, entered a state of slumber. The collective consciousness of that world has forcefully suppressed more collective consciousnesses in Mystique, stabilising him further. The reining collective consciousness in him only changes once every three minutes now.]
[Compass Carburettor emerged out of his world, now possessing the powers of both Lore and Tell-Tale, becoming an entity capable of writing out his fate as he pleases. With the power to dictate its fate thanks to Lore and Tell-Tale, Faith Grounds has completely broken off the machinations of Fate and remains beyond our domain.]
[Hazen has tapped into the law of causality, making him a Mind Master. He now has powers to control the minds of Systems.]
[The Adventure Sys…Money-Making Sys…Secondary Sys…#Error #Error…renamed Ahjar, has become the Concept Representative of Space. He’s…terrifying. His fate cannot be predicted.]
[Rhizen almost stumbled upon a method to shed his existence as a System. Fate constricted his luck and pulled him back.]
[Gehera and Stencil are completely within the confines of Fate. They can never escape their fate of being Systems, and in extension, being the cause of Compass Carburettor’s death.]
[Rahakh hasn’t done anything after becoming the System World’s guard dog. Fate has the firmest hold over him.]
[The dangers lurking within the dump yard are growing increasingly terrifying. It’s the most fragile but the most volatile universe. The day its immiscibility nature changes is when the multiverse will be affected.]
At the absolute centre of the multiverse was a normal universe, at the focus of which was a technological world—Earth.
Seated on an iceberg at the south pole, surrounded by squawking penguins was the Fate System, embodying a human child mimicking Arnark’s appearance.
His eyes were closed while his hands were draped around a pair of Emperor Penguins. He was focused, observing the Fate of the multiverse, and gathering data from it.
Through this, he focused on the variable elements of the multiverse, observing the changes brought about the moment Compass Carburettor exited Faith Grounds. This had been his routine from the day he was born.
While his fragments continued to accumulate power, his main body remained here and focused on Fate, behaving as Zaira’s eyes and ears. It was thanks to his input that Zaira was able to promptly move and execute her various plans.
“Faith Grounds…” He muttered in worry, disconnecting from Fate, “A world that had broken free of Fate. It’s worrying. I can neither sense nor control the variables birthed from there.”
“Worse of all, I can’t even sense its location.”
At present, the Fate System was having trouble sensing the actions of Compass Carburettor and group. Among the trio, Hazen was the easiest to detect.
But, pinpointing even Hazen was impossible, as the moment the Fate System focused on Hazen’s location, a mysterious mist covered his senses, causing him to gloss over the latter’s existence.
The most he could do was detect the approximate range of universes where Hazen could be at. At least, he was able to mine some important details regarding Hazen.
It was worse regarding the remaining two.
Since he was the master of Lore and Tell-Tale, Compass Carburettor exercised complete control and authority over his Fate. Therefore, he didn’t even appear on Fate’s radar. The Fate System was unable to detect any information of importance regarding him.
Finally, there was Ahjar. Fate pretty much glitched trying to find information regarding him. After all, in the multiverse, reigning at the top were the three concepts of Fate, Space, and Time. As they were on similar levels, Fate was unable to pry into details regarding Space.
“A lot of things are happening, mom.” The Fate System established a communication channel with Zaira, “You need to pay attention to things more from now onwards.”
“You needn’t worry.” Zaira’s voice boomed chirpily, “The Hunter System came up with a brilliant idea. If this succeeds, we’ll be able to birth the Main Character System. Even Mystique will become nothing before us after that.”
“Mom, you shouldn’t rush through important things like that, especially since there are too many strange parallels in Fate recently. Compass is doing something behind the scenes, I can feel it.” The Fate System said in worry, “I think it’s for the best if you abandon this plan to birth the Main Character System.”
“Remember that even if you were to birth the Main Character System, there’s a chance it might break free in the future and just become a second Arnark. No one can truly chain down and control the Main Character. That’s an absolute.” The Fate System felt a headache upon receiving Zaira’s silence.
He was aware that Zaira would never stop a plan that involved the Main Character System. If today, she was given a choice of owning the Main Character System even if it meant sacrificing all her Grade 3 and Grade 4 Systems, she would instantly do that.
Even if it meant weakening the System World to a crippling extent, it didn’t matter to her. Zaira’s obsession towards the Main Character System was just that much.
The Fate System realised that, sighing as he said, “I’ll keep an eye peeled out on the changes and lookout for traces of Compass Carburettor and the rest.”
“Good, you do that,” Zaira said and cut off the communication channel.
[Immortal, Tycoon, Phantom, Archivist, Fluff, and Martial have combined their Genre Representation to birth a terrifying world—Central Plains.]
“Central Plains…” The Fate System muttered, “A fitting name for the battlefield where System Elixir will be mined extensively.”
[It’s currently the largest world in the multiverse.]
The moment Central Plains was created, Fate was generated from the world at a terrifying amount. Instantly, the data obtained from Central Plains spiked for the Fate System, allowing him to have a clear perspective of the place.
The stronger the Fate in a world, the clearer his perception of the place.
But, such a large action by the Systems of course had its fair share of problems, especially since six of the ten major Genre Representatives had combined their Genre Representations to create.
As a result, the remaining four Genre Representatives sensed it, focusing their attention on Central Plains.
And suddenly, over a dozen worlds under Mystique awakened as the reigning collective consciousness changed. With that, a primal pair of eyes gazed upon Central Plains, causing even the Fate at the region to lose control.
“This is why I wanted her to take things easy!” The Fate System trembled in fear as something from deep within him intended to gush out, “Why do we have to poke a sleeping tiger?”
