I Have A Computer in my Brain - Chapter 49
The door was kicked open not long after Lin Yun left.
Song Junming walked inside with a dark expression. The fatty prison warden from the Blue Ocean Prison followed behind him. He took in the situation in the room anxiously and then broke out in cold sweat.
“It seems Lin Yun escaped.” Song Junming observed the corpses lying around the room, before focusing on the huge wound on Blue Dragon’s chest.
“A pulse gun? A gang of a deserted city could actually obtain pulse guns?” Song Junming suddenly turned and looked at the fatty with a cold sneer. “Can you give me a reason why I shouldn’t kill you?”
The fatty’s teeth started chattering as he stammered. “S… Sir, I really didn’t know about this. The pulse guns they possess certainly did not come from our prison.”
“Hmph!” Song Junming snorted and lifted his palm, which was enveloped in blue light, with the intention to kill the fatty.
A man with blue long hair and blue eyes suddenly appeared out of nowhere beside Song Junming. It was Ren Xue.
“Master, an ant escaped, but there’s no need for you to come all the way here.” Song Junming informed as he hastily bowed at Ren Xue.
“An ant? Hehe. It’s a cunning ant. We were all deceived by this ant,” Ren Xue said coolly, a hint of anger in his tone.
“Deceived by him?” Puzzled, Song Junming hurriedly asked.
Ren Xue frowned and replied coldly, “Remember that Lin Yun said Dongfang Sheng took the crystal away?”
“Yes, Master. Is there something wrong? At that time, he was under your Spiritual Bewitchment.” Song Junming looked confused.
Ren Xue’s expression became even colder. “He lied. He was not under my Spiritual Bewitchment in the first place. How could he have seen it with his eyes, if it was Dongfang Sheng who took the crystal away?”
“Oh, right!”
Song Junming was enlightened and couldn’t help but to exclaim, “Even my Level 6 Spiritual Strength did not see it. He shouldn’t be able to see at all. In other words, he lied. But why? Did he know about the hint to the Hong Bo relics or is the godly weapon in his possession?”
“We will know everything once we capture him.” Ren Xue patted the unconscious Ma Li, waking her up.
Under the Spiritual Bewitchment, Ma Li vomited out all the information she heard. Ren Xue’s expression turned colder.
“Put all starports under lockdown. Scan all ships leaving the planet. If any starport missed out on anyone, the in-charge can bring their head to me!”
Ren Xue grunted and disappeared. Song Junming and company remained motionless under the influence of his residual aura.
Song Junming used his blue-light-emitting hand to lightly pat the fatty on his shoulder and commanded. “I will spare your life temporarily. Bring your men to seal Lin Yun’s path toward the Blue Dream Starport. Don’t let me down this time around.”
This light pat caused the bones of the fatty’s shoulder to shatter into powder. With cold sweat glistening on his forehead, the fatty maintained a respectful smile on his face as he replied, “Don’t worry, sir. I will definitely capture Lin Yun.”
At this point, Lin Yun had already found the repair shop located outside the city. As he crouched at the peak of a small hill beside the repair shop, he circulated the Stacking Art and observed the situation inside.
During this technologically advanced age, the repair shop was responsible for both the repair of the various spaceships and fighting planes and their regular maintenance. Numerous fighting planes of different sizes were docked on the repair shop’s square. There was even a mecha as well.
“Unfortunately, my Physical and Spiritual Strengths are too low, else I could steal that mecha. The chances of escaping would have been higher.”
Lin Yun searched for his target as he thought of that. Finally, he set his eyes on a three-meter-tall small cosmic ship. Its outer shell was a white oval, which looked like a huge chicken egg from afar.
“Given its small surface area, this cosmic ship won’t be easily discovered. It’s perfect to help me escape this place. I shall wait for the night to come before entering and stealing the cosmic ship.”
Having made his decision, Lin Yun dug a hole in the thick layer of blue snow, quietly huddled inside, and closed his eyes to rest.
An unknown period of time passed and night fell. Lin Yun climbed out from the hole and carefully scrutinized the situation in the repair shop. The workers within were very sluggish, as though they did not believe that anyone would sneak and steal anything from the shop. The few patrolmen gathered together to chat and drink, and they would soon collapse.
“Very good!”
Lin Yun was ecstatic. He quietly and cautiously approached the repair shop, wary that he might trigger an alarm. However, nothing happened.
Too easy! This was too easy!
Lin Yun encountered no obstacles as he flipped over the gates of the repair shop and entered the dock area. It appeared that the entire shop was defenseless. Lin Yun saw that the light of the surveillance cameras was not on. All defense was for show.
He was elated when he reached where the egg-shaped spaceship was.
Suddenly, he felt a strong Spirit fluctuation, causing pain to pierce through his brain.
Spiritual Shock! Someone actually attacked him with a Spiritual Shock!
Lin Yun immediately accessed the Skynet.
“You have suffered Spiritual Shock, Spirit -324. Current Spirit Strength is 0.”
In the next instant, Lin Yun had already left the Skynet System. He was fine, other than his Spirit feeling a little drained. Then, a ferocious fist wind attacked him from behind. Before the punch even landed on him, the wind pressure alone made his back ache.
He could only evade since he didn’t have the time to turn around. However, could he even evade it in the first place?
He could only try his luck. Lin Yun activated the Stacking Art, multiplying his Speed attribute.
Perhaps it was the effect of having 18 Luck. This time, Lin Yun activated a triple Speed stacking, making him shoot forward like a bullet. The punch missed his back by a millimeter.
Lin Yun swiftly turned, wanting to spot the enemy. He had just turned his head when he saw a black figure approaching. Their speed was so fast Lin Yun’s eyes couldn’t follow them. He could merely sense the wind pressure caused by their movements. Left with no choice, Lin Yun continuously flew backward.
Fortunately, the elevated speed could last 10 seconds. Thanks to his bullet-like speed, he barely managed to evade the repeated attacks from the black shadow.
However, when 10 seconds passed and Lin Yun’s speed returned to normal, he would definitely not be able to evade their attack!
What should he do? A drop of cold sweat trickled down Lin Yun’s forehead.
Thankfully, the person in black attire stopped moving after sensing that he wouldn’t be able to land any attacks on Lin Yun. It was actually a middle-aged muscled man with a full beard and huge muscles, seemingly packed with boundless strength.
“You actually bully the fact that my speed is slow. Come and have a taste of my fist if you dare, punk.” The middle-aged man growled angrily, looking extremely dissatisfied.
This was called slow speed? Lin Yun didn’t want to entertain the consequences of being punched, seeing how muscular the man was.
“Punk, this mecha is my target. I cannot land any hit on you, but you can’t stop me from taking the mecha away.” The middle-aged man beat himself on the chest, emitting the sound of metal clashing together, as a warning.
“So this man is here to steal the mecha. This means to say that the defense system of the repair shop was tampered by him. No wonder it was so easy for me to enter this place. In any case, my target is not the mecha, so there is no need for me to clash with him.”
As soon as he thought of that, Lin Yun smiled and replied, “It’s fate that we met each other. The mecha is important, but friends are more so. You can have the mecha.”
Upon hearing that, the man laughed. “I like how straightforward you are, punk. I’m Wang Budi, a star pirate. I agree to be your friend.”
Star pirate? Hope that you won’t betray me when you are captured.
Lin Yun shook his head helplessly, walked before the egg-shaped spaceship, and searched for the entrance.
“You wish to take this spaceship away, punk? Not bad. This spaceship’s value is second only to the mecha in this entire repair shop.” The man chuckled as he watched Lin Yun.
Finally, Lin Yun found the entrance button. A keypad hologram appeared, along with a voice saying, “Please enter the password.”
Password?
Lin Yun frowned. He didn’t know the password. What could he do now?
Wang Budi seemed to discover Lin Yun’s predicament and walked over with a smile.
“Brother, your calculation skills are really bad. Why don’t you gain more knowledge as an honored star pirate? Let me help you,” the man said jokingly as he walked before the illusionary keypad. Using his fingers with the thickness of a carrot, he agilely pressed the buttons on the keypad. From Lin Yun’s perspective, it looked as though a wild boar was playing the piano.
“I have helped you erase the coordinates. This way, the owner of this spaceship won’t be able to find it even when using the latest GPRS system.” The man laughed with garlic breath.
This was literally help delivered on a silver platter. Lin Yun responded in gratitude, “Thank you, brother. This is not a good place to stay in. Let’s go.”
“Yes, let’s leave. We will meet someday.” The man rubbed his head and excitedly ran toward the mecha.
On the other hand, Lin Yun walked into the spaceship and pressed the activation button. Soon, the huge egg lifted from the ground into the air and disappeared into the horizon of the Blue Ocean Planet.
