The walls and roofs of buildings crumbling down can be heard as smoke rose up to the air.

Lowell was like a grasshopper, the buildings served as the grass while he was the insect itself, hopping into different buildings constantly with great speed. He would occasionally retaliate with a wind blast against his purseur.

But Deus would dodge it everytime and he would keep firing Concussive Beams and Plasma Blasts at Lowell. He would even make him a target for his anti-gravity generator, but Lowell was slippery and with a blast of air from his feet, he would always escape the anti-gravity field.

Sometimes he would be able to dodge the attacks but always, Deus would be able to predict his next landing spot and the before Lowell gets there by the second, Deus would fire a plasma blast and Lowell would be sent flying from the shockwave. But Lowell would always endure the pain and he would propel himself to another place mid-air and the cycle of attacks would continue.

Now Lowell was in a bad state, he had wounds everywhere and his left elbow is dislocated. He was getting tired as he kept using his power countless times in just a span of minutes.

Meanwhile Deus was just calmly chasing him and was calculating his next trajectory. He fired plasma blast at the roof of the building that Lowell was supposed to land.

With a loud boom, Lowell propelled himself mid-air away from his supposed trajectory and he secretly channeled his power on his arms, “If I’m gonna lose then I’ll have to at least get a hit on you!”

Deus saw what happened and he muttered, “A feint.”

He then increased the speed of his flight and he pointed all five of his metallic fingers, aiming at the next predicted trajectory. But Lowell suddenly turn his head back and then his whole body.

“This again.” Deus thought with a sneer and he then spoke out in ridicule, “You think you can hit me with that? You never learn do you?”

“Eat This!!” Lowell roared and he punched in the air accompanied with a loud boom, the Wind Blast that came out was so big that it covered at least 50 meters.

“I can’t dodge it in time.” Deus was calm of the situation and he activated his Energy Shield Generators. A red barrier of energy appeared in front him and the Wind Blast slammed against it, but the blast was too strong and the barrier dimmed.

Everything that was struck by the Wind Blast was blowed away and destroyed. Debris flew out and the earth rumbled of the powerful wind pressure.

[Weapon Systems: Plasma Blaster] – Damaged

Along with these words appearing on the HUD, the force of the blast made Deus blasted to hundreds of meters while crashing into buildings one after another. After reaching to 300 meters while crashing on buildings, his anti-gravity generators managed to finally stabilize him and he suddenly stopped flying further.

“That strike was really powerful huh.”

Deus’ body had damages and scratches all over, even if it was made with Ultra-grade alloys, the massive force of the Wind Blast damaged his internal system and his body was blasted hundreds of meters while crashing into buildings.

Most of his weapons was in critical condition and his energy shield generator was damaged, but they were still operational and so was for his body.

“If I didn’t have that barrier, This body wouldn’t be functioning anymore. The mainframe might still be intact but it wouldn’t be functioning anymore as the internal systems will be destroyed by the force.”

Despite all of these damages, Deus was still calm and he thought to himself, “He must be out there licking his wounds and taking a breather.” He then took a look at the progress of his Sentinels.

In the hotel, the human soldiers, including Kyle, was already killed by the Sentinels but the super-humans were just unconscious with their heads bleeding. The civilians was gathered outside and they were lined up. The three remaining military androids then aimed their Plasma Rifles at them like a firing squad and they opened fire.

“You will return Lowell, once you do…..heheheheh.” Deus’ consciousness housed on a Sentinel and he scanned all the faces of the civilians.

The former was his mother and the latter was his girlfriend. Deus thought an evil plan and he killed the other civilians other than these two.

Just as he was about to have his primary body fly away, a strong wind pressure struck his body. He was sent flying and crashing into three buildings until he finally stopped at the fourth one.

Deus lied with rubble on his back, his head looked up and there he saw Lowell preparing a punch. He could sense the massive force already gathering on his arms.

“Well well well, come to finish me?” Deus said in a joking voice. He was really surprised that this guy actually wants finish him off than going back to the hotel.

Lowell’s face distorted and he spoke in a threatening voice “Who the hell are you?! What do you want with me?”

“Even if I told you, you’ll find it hard to believe and I just want your body….well that sounded wrong, I mean……..you know what I mean.”

Lowell didn’t even bother asking again and his mind began to work, “The robots attacking people…yes it was like they were being controlled, our phones were not working on that time and the gadgets were broken. Is he the one responsibility for or all of this? He must be a hacker and a terrorist.”

Lowell looked at Deus with a scrutinizing gaze. Deus sensed this and he spoke out, “What? Never seen a robot that can talk like this?” but he ignored this and he continued on his thoughts.

“He is controlling such a powerful android, this must be one of the secret weapons of government. Did he steal it? but this android sure is weird, its mouth moves like a human and its eyes seemed like its alive.”

Lowell then spoke coldly, “Areyou the one controlling those machines? Are you the one who killed all the innocent people in this town?”

“What if I say I did? Hehehehe, you have no idea of the things I have done.”

“Then there’s no reason for me to talk to you. Once I find you, I’ll kill you.”

“Oh so you think I’m being controlled by a human like a remote android huh?”

“What do you mean.” while Lowell was speaking, Deus secretly and carefully pointed his mechanical arms at a wall debris and activated his anti-gravity generator.

“!!!!!” Lowell sensed what was going on and just as he was about to punch, Deus slammed the debris on his body and Lowell was sent flying to the wall.

His back was almost broken and blood was coming out of his mouth, Deus fired out a concussive beam and Lowell waved his arms shooting out a wind blade.

Both sides were hit by each other’s attack but Deus was sent flying. Lowell felt the burning pain on his chest and he gritted his teeth as he stood back up and jumped off with a loud boom. At mid-air he saw where Deus was standing and he threw another punch.

“Well shit.” Deus had no time to dodge it and he was sent flying again. He crashed into a car and he thought to himself, “Huh my body is still fine, it was able to survive his attacks. But some of my jet thrusters isn’t working anymore. I can still fly but it’ll be slower.”

Lowell arrived at where Deus was and just as he was about to finish him off, Deus then exclaimed, “Let me remind you kid, do you have a family in that hotel? What was her name again?”

“Yeah Rachel Harper, your one and only mother.”

“Oh there’s also your girlfriend, what was her name? Ah Natalie, yes yes.”

Upon hearing all of this Lowell’s face turned grave and the air around his arms calmed down. He was so busy on fighting this robot that he forgot about the androids at the hotel, but then he thought, “Wait there were only 3 androids left, the others should’ve dealt with them already.” With this thought he relaxed and then he got angry again, “This guy just doesn’t want this robot to be destroyed huh.”

“Fucking lying bastard!” Lowell roared out and he prepared his arms, channeling a very powerful Wind Blast that’ll turn this machine into pieces.

Deus’ eyes flashed and a hologram projection appeared, showing the situation on the hotel.

Deus was doing all these things to make Lowell hesitate on destroying his primary body. He spent three days of making this body, even though he can just repair it or scavenge the materials and make a new one when it is destroyed, he still doesn’t want this body to be torn into pieces as repairing it would be quicker.

Furthermore he wanted to get this super-human into his trap, or for him to lower his guard so he can do a sneak attack.
