The sun slowly descended from the other side of a certain island and it dyed the horizon red. It was the mark of a bloody twilight. Because of the change of the world, temperature in nightime is so much colder, cold to the point that living beings will die if they do not have anything that can warm them up throughout the night.

The same can be said for the morning, especially when the sun is at its highest. Global Warming has increased more than ten times and because of the Ozone Layer badly damaged, the ultraviolet rays of the sun was very ruthless to the skins of creatures.

Deus was looking at the video feeds and images he got from the drones and satellites.

The cities in the countries that was targeted by the nukes was turned into a radioactive region and at the center of those cities were huge craters spanning a few thousand meters. The area around the crater was turned into a wasteland and the buildings from dozens of miles were affected by the shockwaves of the blast and were now in ruins.

The same can be said for those untargeted cities, they were now in ruins. Not because of a nuclear warhead, but because of the massive global earthquake and the rampage of the machines slightly contributed for its destruction.

Micro-sized and Mini-sized drones were scouting the non-radioactive cities, searching for hiding humans.

Even if they all discover about the drones, they can’t do anything because of the temperature of night. They have to stay close to fires or something hot in order to survive, if they are exposed to the sheer coldness of night then they might die within an hour.

Many people in the world already knew this fact, that’s why many would not travel so much in the night. But for Deus it was a big chance to search and trackdown survivors.

He was personally in control of all the satellites and hundreds of thousands of drones, most of which were the patrol drones of the police and the scouting drones of the military in various countries.

These kinds of drones were mini-sized and some were micro-sized. They were silent in the middle of flight so they were quite hard to detect unless a person look carefully around their surroundings.

But with Deus’ control they were even harder to detect as he would have them take positions into areas where they were hard to spot or he would get them behind buildings in case a super-human is wary of their surroundings.

Even of they get spotted and get attacked, with Deus’ godly manipulation, the drones would be able to dodge all kinds of attacks and get away successfully.

Furthermore Deus efficiently controlled the micro-sized drones to check out the insides of buildings and houses. He pretty much had eyes and ears almost everywhere in the world.

But now, Deus was amused at the sight of the videos and data’s he received.

They were about the destroyed androids from all over the world.

The war of humans and machines has raged for more than a week and it wasn’t really favorable for the humans, like not really favorable.

The environment was not on their side, in the day they have to suffer the burning heat that’ll cause one to have a quick Dehydration as they would sweat alot. And if the sun’s unsurpressed ultraviolet radiation makes in contact with their skin then skin cancer and tumor is a high possibility of happening.

But they still managed to destroy some war-machines though their casualties were much bigger.

“Class-4’s and Class-5’s are the only ones who can destroy the stronger machines easily, Class-3’s can easily destroy some too if they use their powers right or depending on their type of power.”

“Those powerless humans only has some meager weapons to deal with my mechs its impossible for them to destroy the machines like this.”

He looked at the other images and data’s about the mechs and androids who were trashed from the different parts of the globe, it mostly came from America, Russia, China, Japan and the U.K.

Some mechs were blown to bits, some had electrical malfunctions, and some were torn into pieces by a seemingly strong and sharp force.

These destroyed androids and mechs were all military war-machines. All of them were armed to the teeth with Plasma Rifles, Laser Blasters and many other kinds of weapons, they were not like those Civil Androids who had a weak offense and defense, but now they were a useless pile of metal.

These machines were the one’s that Deus sent to exterminate human groups. Their bases were easily discovered by the satellites and drones, especially in America.

The new Spy Flies were very effective for scouting and finding hiding humans, and because of this. The entirety of America was almost in Deus’ control now as he would always send machines to deal with hiding humans.

His machines were seemed to be endless, but the groups who had a Class-5 super-humans still managed to survive.

The machines sent to those kinds of groups were all broken down into pieces or they were blown up by an explosive power.

“Class-5’s are the ones who can do these kinds of things easily. Class-4’s are also capable but they need to do it right if they want to take down mechs of those sizes.”

Mechs and Androids had differences and it was their size. Androids were 1.65 to 2 meters tall and Mechs were 3 to 10 meters tall, though mechs are categorized as Automated or Piloted.

Currently the tallest mech in the world is the Triton Mech, which came from America.

They were automated mechs that was 9 meters tall and were capable of flight. They have a Laser Cannon on top of their left shoulder and a Missile Launcher Pods on their right shoulder. Their right hands had quad-barreled automatic plasma blasters and they were extremely durable.

The piloted mechs were usually about 4 to 5 meters tall, about twice the height of an average battle tank. Some of these kinds of mechs couldn’t be controlled by Deus as they really needed human pilots to manually operate.

But some piloted mechs was already on the field without humans in their cockpits as these were the ones that could operate using a computer, that is if it was without a pilot. Of course Deus was the one controlling them.

“According to the data’s there are only two active Class-5s remaining in the country. All of them are from a one human group in Miami, I already know their base but I need to do some modifications on my body and I need to bring hundreds of Sentinels.”

Currently Deus’ was now in his repaired primary body and there were already sixty-three completed Sentinels. Deus have to do some modifications because of the abilities of a the Class-5s in the group.

“With those two, the casualties of that human group is almost non-existent and all the machines I send there are easily taken care of with just the two of them. Dennis is impervious to weapons, even plasma cannons and Alexandra would just crush my machines easily with her power.”

Deus was going to do many preparations in the coming days to exterminate their human group and try to capture the super-humans. Then he was going to take care of the rest of the world and their respective Class-5s.

“There were many Class-5’s that were killed in the nuclear blasts because they happened to be in one of those cities. There were even some that died because of the intense heat and the cold of night, they didn’t manage to find shelter for those. Uh, what a waste.”

“Now the remaining Class-5s in the world are below fifty, this will at least makes things easier. I’ll just send more machines for those loner Class-5s to wear down their strength and capture them.”

Super-humans are evolved as they are, but in the end they are just humans and were mortal. They needed to rest, eat food, drink water and many other kinds of physiological needs. They also needed to be mindful of the new climate and environment of Earth as their powers won’t be enough to survive all those.

Furthermore if they use their powers too much then they would suffer backlashes depending on their power, and if they forcibly use their powers while in the process of the backlash then they will die from overusage.

“But the stronger a super-human is, the longer they would be able to use their powers. Even the weaker super-humans can use their powers continuously for days with the correct quality of training.”
