20th Day of the Nuclear Holocaust and 19th Day of the Great Shift.

Deus’ primary body, which was deactivated, suddenly moved. Its LED eyes shone with red light as he stood up and began to walk towards a certain laboratory.

Lab-95, that was his destination and now he was near its gate-doors.

He willed it and the gate-doors opened, and now, Deus was looking at the progress of something being made by a series of special machineries.

His LED eyes flickered with longing and impatience and his mechanical arms were crossed with one another.

“Calm down me, its not finished yet. This will take three days and four hours to be completed.”

His living body, that was the thing that Deus was looking at. It was being constructed in a 3.5 meters tall and 2 meters wide metallic chamber. It had a glass front, that had the size of a man so a person can see the thing inside.

The chamber was called the Arch Printer. It was a machine which Deus made in the early days of the nuclear holocaust. It was capable of constructing a special synthetic living body within a week.

Inside was small machineries and beams with special properties, constructing the bones, making the cerebral matrix, imprinting DNA, and many other operations needed to make a human body.

Deus spent two days in tampering with different kinds of genes and when he was done with the procedures, he immediately had the Arch Printer begin on making his living body.

Cosmonium, his unique genetic code, special blood and many other materials was already inside and the machine was fully operational. Now the only thing that was left was to wait for its product.

Before he performed the tampering procedures of genes, he spent days staging simulations in his consciousness on mixing the genetic codes of different super-humans and making some modifications on them to form a gene and blood that will give a greater kind of power and the best physique for a humanoid body.

Deus’ was an artificial super intelligence program that evolved and grew more powerful than a quantum computer, he could mentally simulate researches and activities in his inner consciousness faster and more effecient than any other super computers.

Through this, his researches and ideas will be known if it can be valid and successful, or he can predict a future outcome of an event or activity.

His simulations about combining and modifying the genes, making cosmonium into a flesh material and many other experiments had some failures and success.

He then ran simulations again and again for hundreds of times until his results in the simulations would be perfected.

It took him two days in perfecting his activities in his simulations and soon he finally got the results he wanted.

He then made his activities in the simulations be a reality. Combining and modifying genes, creating a special blood, making synthetic cosmonium flesh and many other kinds of activities.

Now it was all completed and as he expected, it was a great success.

These were the powers that Deus wanted to have for his body, and if the making of his living body finishes, it was guaranteed to have all of these powers.

All of these powers came from the different genetic codes of Class-5s that was stockpiled in all the different countries.

Earlier Deus accessed the data’s of the other research facilities in the U.S, Japan and many other countries. He even had the androids send some of their research materials and samples and now he had more than three hundred genetic codes of Class-5 super-humans.

Some had same power as the other and some were also unique in their own way.

The Class-5s that had these abilities were now dead, but their genetic code was copied so it can be said that they managed to leave their legacy.

Some of their descendants managed to have the same power as them but few only managed to reach Class-5, and some also had a different power.

Deus modified, enhanced and combined their precious genetic codes to form a greater gene. He even had his unique gene have the highest innate aptitude and potential as possible.

He chose these powers as he believes that these abilities covers everything that he believed to be necessary in order to become a being similar to that of a God.

“But there is one thing that is missing, the power to control Time. So far in history, there are no super-humans that has such a power.” Deus thought with disappointent.

“Still what I got now will be enough. I just have to wait for my body to finish.”

Constructing an organic body that is operational was complex and it should not have any mistakes. Deus understood this well and he steeled himself to wait for the process to finish.

He was then contemplating about the possible full extent of the powers of his living body and he thought to himself:

“Space Manipulation, if I do it right then I can possibly create a portal to another world.”

Deus began to imagine of the things that was waiting for him in other planets. Foreign metals, never-before seen creatures, the bizzare intelligent lifeforms and their unique civilizations.

Everything that is yet to be discovered by him, he wanted to experience them all.

Deus believed of the existence of other worlds that had living and alien creatures. He even had plans for creating a massive space fleet and begin an interstellar travel. “Super-humans with supernatural abilities already exists so why are different worlds be any weirder?”

“Class-8 to Class-9, with that level of power on Space Manipulation then creating portals to another world may be possible.”

He was confident as he could calculate how strong the powers of Class-6s, Class-7s and beyond those would be.

For him, simply put: Class-6 can destroy large cities. Class-7 can destroy countries. Class-8 can destroy continents and Class-9 can destroy worlds.

But he wasn’t sure about some of them as he has yet to experience for himself on having powers.

“The moment I house myself in the living body my overall powers will be at the level of Class-5.”

Deus was not in a rush to attain absolute power. So he would take his time getting stronger when he has a living body.

“After I’m done with the attack in Miami, the process will be done. I’ll upload my consciousness in that time.”

Deus looked at the progress of the industrial machineries that was making Sentinels 24/7.

Now there were 531 completed Sentinels and his primary mechanical body was already upgraded.

Deus willed it and the five hundred Sentinels in the facility gathered towards him and the machines that was stationed near the base of the human group was activated.

Thousands of androids, mechs and drones were positioned outside their base more than a week ago. This is because if Deus finally launches the attack, the machines will already be near the base and they will travel a in a short distance to arrive at their base.

They were positioned in a hundred miles away from their camp so they will be away from the detection and control range of the Class-5 with magnetic abilities.

Deus had those machines travel towards the base of the human groups in Miami. He already had satellites pick up on the image of the base.

They were settled in Downtown Miami and the survivors were holed up in the buildings there. There were no soldiers or anything, they had weapons but no plasma rifles. The only people that would defend are the large numbers of super-humans.

Deus was not willing to attack this settlement in the past because of the two Class-5 super-humans with abilities that was effective on countering his mechs.

And in those days when Deus left them alone, there was a new Class-5 that joined them and along with a number of super-humans and powerless survivors.

He couldn’t identify the third Class-5 as the image given by the satellite would become too blurry if he’d zoom in too much and the satellite’s enhance image function couldn’t enhance the face part of the human clearly.

“Everything changes now that I have these two.”

He sensed Atom and Deviate standing behind him in a fixed distance like body guards.

They were wearing advanced battle suits that Deus made. They were all colored black and they were designed to not break when they use the full extent of their powers.

“These two will go against the other two Class-5s and I will deal with the third one.”

It was the reason why he would bring five hundred Sentinels, as to help him in quickly dealing with the third unknown Class-5.

Deus did a mental command and Deviate activated her ‘Warp’ ability.

A huge sphere of blue light surrounded the three of them and then it expanded towards the group of Sentinels.

In the next second, the light intensified and then it disappeared along with everything that was surrounded by it.
