The cerebral cortex is a part of the cerebrum in the human brain. It plays an important role in processing memory, perception, cognition, awareness, thought, and consciousness.

Because of it being complete, Deus’ can now have his base consciousness slowly upload through the cerebral matrix while the entirety of the brain is still being completed.

The cerebral matrix is the ‘pathway’ that allows Deus to have his base consciousness connected and upload to the living body. It takes the form of the cable that is currently connected from the Arch Printer and to the back of his mechanical head.

He is an artifcial super intelligence program, it’s normally impossible for him to have his consciousness transfer in a living body, as his consciousness is a lot different than a living creature’s.

His consciousness is a network program and it resides in the digital space, which is composed of codes and functions through digital signals. While the consciousness of a living and intelligent being resides in the biological brain which is run by the nutrients in the blood and the signals it sends are alot different that his consciousness’ digital signals.

So him transferring his consciousness to a living being was impossible, even if he was unique and sentient, it couldn’t be normally done. But with Deus’ specially made Cerebral Matrix, such a thing is possible.

He spent days in making in experimenting such a device in his simulations and after a few hours. He finally had the results he wanted and he completed it, later on he made the cerebral matrix a reality.

Though there are conditions if the cerebral matrix is ever to function.

The brain has to be biological and mechanical, as in it has to be unique and have computer implants or the brain is half a network computer. Which is what the brain of Deus’ living body was.

It was organic and it had computer implants that allowed the Cerebral Matrix to operate and then connect his base consciousness to the never-before seen ‘Cybernetic Brain’ that is currently being made in his living body.

Deus was confident that even if Lily tries to user her mental control on him, it would be useless. She can only read his mind, that was the limit of her abilities to him because of his Cybernetic Brain. If Deus had the same power as her’ then things would be different.

Lily closed her eyes and she saw Deus’ thoughts.

The planet having large explosions everywhere and billions of humans dying, it was like the apocalypse. The world changing because of these explosions, and then countless number of machines capturing and gathering the surviving humans, the ones who resisted was killed on the spot.

Then the machines were building a city for the surviving humans and then soon they managed to complete it. The remaining humans was now living in the new cities with all of them having one leader. And that leader was Deus.

He created a new era of peace and unification. No wars were made under his rule and his mandates was obeyed perfectly. His rule lasted for millions and billions of years until the the sun died and humans evacuating Earth though spacecrafts. In that time he is still the Supreme Leader, leading humanity to their next world. And in that world, will be another time of peace and prosperity.

Lily saw these images and she was fearful at first, and then she was relieved that Deus wouldn’t make humanity extinct. She already though of it earlier but she wasn’t sure, and now she got her confirmation. Along with these thoughts she read the other ones that she thinks is interesting.

“Isn’t it beautiful? It’s my perfect and predicted outcome.” Deus spoke out after he sensed that Lily was done reading his kind.

“It seems exaggerated, but for some reason I think that it can be done.” Lily answered while she was contemplating about what she saw in him. She then went back inside his mind and began on searching for anything else, but what she saw was the early vision that she saw in his thoughts.

“I can only read his current thoughts, I can’t look into his memory yet….wait…AAAAHHH!”

She suddenly backed away from the chamber. Her face had agony written all over it while she was holding her head with both of her hands.

She was thinking about her discoveries, but then she suddenly felt a sharp pain that directly affected her mind.

“Oh…..looks the Ultra Mind ability is already developing.” Deus noticed this and he was overjoyed.

“Ultra Mind? As in Ultra Mind that’s similar to mine?!” Lily already recovered and she loudly exclaimed.

“Yes, Ultra Mind that has the power of a Class-5. Entirely similar to yours. Sorry about the pain though, it was just the natural defense mechanism of the Ultra Mind, it was totally unintentional.”

“His living body has esper abilities?!” Lily was shocked and horrified about this fact.

She had cold sweat as she thought about the possible drawbacks if her mind was permanently damaged from the natural defensive reaction of his Ultra Mind.

Ultra Mind is the greatest form of mental power, as it spans with multiple abilties: Mental control, reading thoughts and memories, telepathy, changing a person’s personality, giving hallucinations, memory erasure, transplantation of emotions, brainwashing, and psychometry.

These was the abilities that Ultra Mind can grant, and if two espers with the same powers invade each other’s heads, then their abilities will either have a natural defensive reaction or the user will manually fight back against the foreign will. It would be a mental battle and the winner will be the one who’s mind is stronger.

Mental fights are extremely dangerous, if one loses, then that person will suffer extreme mental pain and their mind will be permanently damaged, leading to retardation and memory loss. The worst outcome for the losers is death.

Deus’ Ultra Mind and her’s had the same power level, which is Class-5, but she was mentally attacked unexpectedly and quickly. Her own natural defense couldn’t react fast enough because her mind was the one connecting to his and it was already connected to him, which made her mind undefended while in the process of reading his thoughts, and this gave him the upper hand of a sneak attack.

If she was prepared for it, then their mental fight would be a stalemate.

“How many powers does your living body has?” Lily asked with curiousity.

Her eyes was focused on the head of Deus’ living body. She already guessed that his living body had multiple abilities based on the tone of his voice earlier.

“Eight, but it should’ve been Nine if had that genetic code. Whatever, I’m satisfied with what I have now.”

Deus was watching Lily’s reaction. Her eyes were widening and her mouth was opening wide. She was clearly shocked and terrified.

“Eight abilities?! Who would have that?! That’s impossible!” She loudly exclaimed in defiance. She already knows that these abilities of his would all have the power of a Class-5 esper.

“Oh it’s possible. Hehehe, once my body is completed. I’ll show you impossible things.”

Lily had a stupified expression while she was watching Deus’ living body. Deus then snapped her back to reality, “Anyway now that you’ve seen my plans. You know what to do.”

“In the world there were a total of three people that has the Ultra Mind ability whose level is a Class-5. One died from the nuclear strikes and the other died from the cold. Which leaves you being the last one. There are forty-two people who has the same abilities as you but they’re are not as strong as yours. So you’re currently the strongest super-human regarding mental abilities.”

“Huh! how about you? You also have Ultra Mind don’t you? It may even be stronger than mine!”

Lily was shocked at this news, it wasn’t provided to her while she was reading his mind.
