“The death toll after this would be on the billions.” With this kind of thought, Deus began to calculate the estimated deaths.

In the year 2027, the population of humans on Earth is now approximately 8.7 Billion.

He calculated that after this global nuclear disaster, over 5 to 6 Billion Humans would die. The natural areas on Earth like forests, mountains and many others would be safe but some, where cities are built on, would be destroyed of course.

Basically 60% to 71% of humanity would be killed from this nuclear disaster and Deus would take care of the rest with the machines. Deus would capture and then gather the surviving humans in the cities that was left intact in their respective countries, as for the ones who would resist they will be killed.

While the nukes were going towards their targets, Deus was controlling the androids and mechs of thousands of military bases and government facilities worldwide to kill the human personnel and take over the buildings. The facilities and factories of other companies and organizations was not an exception, but Deus mainly focused on the automated factories.

1:06 PM it was the time when Deus launched the nuclear warheads and now fifty-two minutes has passed and Deus thought to himself, “The dust finally settled.”

He observed through the satellites around the world and he saw that all of the nuclear warheads has landed and detonated on their target areas. He estimated that over 5.6 Billion people were killed in the blasts. Tens of thousands of cities was reduced to ruins and radiation was now a global problem, but Deus didn’t care about the radiation as it wouldn’t affect machines.

He knew that there was a high chance of animals and plants mutating because of the radiation, though some of them might die in the process but nonetheless many would evolve faster because of the radiation.

Some of the nuclear warheads like Destro-78 from the U.S and Yev-60 from Russia had special effects.

Destro-78’s radiation aftermath would spread in high temperatures and the Yev-60 nuclear warheads had the power of 200 megatons of TNT with its mushrooms clouds reaching out to the skies for thousands of meters.

There were still many other kinds of special nuclear warheads from each of the countries, but America and Russia were the ones who had the greatest number of those kinds of nukes. These kinds of nukes were special in their own way and Deus had those kinds of nukes target specific cities where their effects would be efficiently implemented and maximized.

Now that all of the nukes has detonated on their targets he could now start the next phase of his plan. The global nuclear attack was basically a nuclear holocaust as billions of people died, Deus didn’t even care about the billions of innocents that died and he just focused on doing his plans.

By now hundreds of facilities and factories was taken over and soon the numbers reached thousands. The human personnel in those places were all killed and the machines were now patrolling the area.

“Well then I guess I should start getting busy.”

Deus then controlled the thousands of automated factories in the world to start mass producing war-machines.

As for the remaining military mechs and machines of the countries that has them, Deus made them gather into one area in each cities of the various countries to have them start forming hunting groups. Along the way they would kill humans if they ever see one.

Next he made the remaining construction and engineer androids and mechs gather the necessary resources and they began constructing the new automated factories that would be able to build the new models and new kinds of war-machines.

The construction of the automated factories in some areas of the world would take a long time for its completion because the numbers of the construction mechs and machines in those areas were few. Normally there would be human supervisors for the construction but with Deus’ control it wasn’t really needed.

Furthermore in this age, humans would usually depend on super computers to design the architecture of buildings or at least that was the case for first-world countries.

The third-world countries would stick to the old ways of designing architecture and the ones working on constructing the buildings were mostly humans. Construction mechs and androids were truly luxuries that only first-world countries can have on their cities.

Based on the speed of the construction, Deus estimated that the new automated factories would finish in one to two years, and that’s only for the ones that had more than two hundred construction machines working on it. As for the ones who had below two hundred, he estimated that it would take up to three or four years.

“Whatever, I’ll just upgrade the construction mechs and add more into building my factories to make the progress faster.”

“I guess I’ll just have to use my current factories for now, but I should change the colors of the new machines though.”

Now Deus already had the Pentagon in his control and all the human personnel in the building were already killed. He gathered the military androids and mechs to roam in and out of Arlington County and kill the humans that live in the designated areas.

“Now the materials for my body and special toys….”

Deus then focused his attention on an Atlas facility located on Seattle, which was already taken over by him. Earlier while the nukes were travelling towards their targets, Deus controlled the security androids and the entire building itself to trap and kill the human personnel in the facility.

Now the floors of the building was littered with corpses of the researchers and employees of Atlas, the walls were splashed with fresh red blood as the security androids where roaming around the building searching for humans that they may have missed.

The building was located in the southern part of the city and it occupied a huge area of land so there were bound to be humans that slipped by and were hiding.

And in the city, the machines were killing every humans they see with all kinds of methods. Many were breaking the bodies of humans with their mechanical strength and the androids who had fire arms would gun people down. Some tried to fight back with their own guns but the machines were focusing on the humans who had weapons, so all those who fought back were killed before they could even act.

The super-humans in the city were easily killed by the machines. They may be the more evolved people but in the end they were mortals and they can die. Just a single punch from the androids with all their might would cause their skulls to crack, a single bullet wound from a fatal area would have them die within seconds.

Deus then controlled the androids in the facility to have them fetch the necessary materials and he prepared the machinery to make his first body.

He did not nuke this city as this was where the main facility of Atlas was located and in this facility was where the top secret projects and high quality resources of Atlas was stored.

Deus wanted to get this facility and get his hands on those projects and the Ultra-grade alloys that Atlas has been storing.

Alloys are a combination of metals or any other elements to form a new stronger kind of metal.

The alloys in this world is graded from Standard, High, Premium, Super, Hyper and Ultra. The government had their own stockpile of Ultra-grade alloys but so far Atlas is the organization that has the largest stockpile of Ultra-grade alloys. Deus already has the Ultra grade alloys of the government because the facilities in country that stored those alloys were already in his control.

But Deus not only wanted to get those Ultra-grade alloys and classified projects, he wanted to get that particular metal that was not from this world.

That metal was called Cosmonium and it was currently the strongest material in the world.

Tensile, Impact, Yield and Compressive strength; Cosmonium tops them all more than any other kinds of metals.

The metal was first discovered on a large meteorite that was over 50 meters big, that meteorite was made up entirely of metal, and that metal was the Cosmonium. The metal meteorite landed on Kosterhavet, Gothenburg Sweden in 2025.

Atlas was the one who got to the landing site first and picked up the meteorite, then it was sent to the main facility for research.

The metal was unbelievably versatile and it had a melting point of more than one hundred thousand degrees Celsius.

Atlas managed to make alloys using Cosmonium as one of the elements mixed, but those alloys were weaker than the entirety of Cosmonium. Still the alloys that was made with Cosmonium as one of the metals mixed, were the strongest of Ultra-grade alloys and there were still large amounts of pure Cosmonium in the facility.

“I’ll use those alloys for my temporary mechanical body, but I will use the pure metal for my living body.”

Deus already have a schematic for a machine that will be able to construct a living body that can be made with different kinds of materials, but those materials needs to be compatible and appropriate for the creation of the body. And of course if he wants to make this machine it would require weeks, months or years to complete, but he had all the time in the world so he didn’t care.

“If Cosmonium is really as versatile as they say then it will be the main thing that my living body will be made of.”

“I’m going to make myself beautiful and my living body will be a perfect one. A billion times better than the fleshly bodies of humans and the creatures of this Earth.”

His sense of beauty was the same as humans so of course he wanted to be handsome as possible. Deus already knows what it feels like if he gets himself in a mechanical body, so he wanted to get a living body as fast as possible, he wanted to feel alive.

Soon he would spread his influence in the entire country and capture a handful of humans for his experimentations, especially super-humans if he ever finds one.

Deus managed to get some data of some government facilities where they were doing a lot of cruel experiments to super-humans. But Deus was going to do something beyond those, if he can just find the reason why these humans have supernatural abilities then he might be able to make his living body also have powers.

According to the data of the researchers, the reason why super-humans have supernatural powers is because either of a mutation of their genes or they just evolved through unknown means, but these were just theories.

Deus on the other hand, was determined to make sure he gets the answers and he would enslave these kinds of humans and upgrade their bodies with cybernetic technology without affecting their powers and maybe even increase it.

Pyrokinesis, Telekinesis, Precognition and many other kinds of abilities, it was the powers that super-humans possessed, some even has two or three or tens of different kinds of powers.

They were graded from the weakest Class-1 to Class-5 being the highest.

There were even theories for a possibility for some Class-5’s to become the mythical Class-6s if they improve further. Class-5 super-humans already had the power to destroy half of a small city so Class-6’s must have an unimaginable power, but so far there is no one in the world who are Class-6 or at least according to the public information.

Deus wanted to have multiple abilities for his living body if it was possible. So one of his experiments was about how to transfer powers of super-humans to another.

Deus already had the remaining androids, mechs and drones nearby the targeted cities to patrol the ruined cities if there are any survivors. If there were survivors then he wants to capture them as this might implicate that these survivors were super-humans.

Now all the materials were prepared and he controlled the machinery to construct his soon to be first and primary body and in the same time the other machineries were getting started on making his special and personal machines.

Deus was doing all kinds of tasks at once.

Controlling the androids and mechs to secure cities worldwide.

Having the industrial machinery in Atlas Facility to make his primary body.

And controlling thousands of automated factories around the world to create new war-machines.
