Owl Drones were mini-sized drones that were colored white and had a fast mobility. It has a Mini Plasma Blaster and depending on its use for the battlefield, it can be equiped with a better weapon.

There were hundreds of androids and mechs currently attacking the position of the human fighters but the building where the civilians were in were absolutely vulnerable.

Deus willed it and the Owl Drones that were shooting at the humans in their defensive lines retreated.

All of them numbered on the 50s and they all formed a swarm behind the other machines. He made them go around the defensive line of the humans and storm the building behind them.

“I’ll make the attack flashier and more noticeable for them. Tsk, there’s no Bomber Drones in the area, if I had them this would have been over by now.”

Deus then looked at the video feed of the fighting of humans and machines through a drone he left there to get an aerial view on whats happening in the area.

All of the machines were in his control and they were advancing steadily, the humans have suffered losses and there already super-humans that died.

A micro-sized drone has already infiltrated the backline of the human group and there Deus saw what seemed to be their leader.

“Kyle White, Age 44, having the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the army….He and those 142 men are all powerless.” Deus searched additional information about the leader and each of every single one of the soldiers that the micro-sized drone could see.

Kyle and his men were from Oakland Army Base, among all the commanders and soldiers in the base, only Kyle and a battalion of 287 men managed to survive and escape the calamity.

In the time when Deus was given full access to the entire military systems of the U.S, he didn’t even take a second to decide and he made the androids, mechs and drones in military bases and on the field to turn their weapons against the human soldiers.

The soldiers and military personnel were caught off guard with the sudden attack of the machines and many of them were killed on the initial sneak attack.

In that time Kyle and a bunch of other commanders in the military base was also involved in the fighting and all of them experienced the terror of their own weapons. They would usually turn these machines against their enemies and they would always think about what would it be like if they were the ones being hunted down by these machines.

Their indirect wish was granted on that day and they really did not like it.

Dealing with the military war-machines, especially mechs were truly a hard thing. The mechs were usually the ones carrying the deadliest and the powerful heavy weapons so if the mechs use them, the destruction that they can cause is massive, and with Deus’ control he would make sure that their weapons were used properly and effectively.

Another great threat was the mini-sized combat aerial drones, they were being a pain in the ass for them. A sea of drones would occasionally do an assault to a crowd of human soldiers and the larger drones would frequently do bombing and firing runs on the heavy artillery, weapons and tanks that was used by the human soldiers.

Even though Deus controlled the androids, mechs and drones of the military, there were still other machines of war that he couldn’t control. Like tanks and other weapons that didn’t operate with a computer.

But in that time he made the machines focused on destroying those tanks, artillery and other heavy weaponry, so the humans would not have any weapons capable of destroying them easily.

Heavy weaponry were very important as they were the only thing that could immediately bring down mechs and take out a group of androids and a swarm of drones in one go. Even though the machines can also be taken down with kinetic and plasma weapons, it would take awhile to truly bring them down, unless one has a heavy weapon of all kinds to deal with the machines.

All of these kinds of events were also happening on all the military bases in the U.S and the same was for the other countries in the world, though some countries, particularly third-world countries, were not involved as they rarely had mechs and drones for weapons in their military.

But nonetheless, Deus’ strategy were very effective as it greatly crippled the human military strength of many countries in the world.

“Hmmmm? Super-humans?” Deus saw the super-humans in the backline using their abilities to destroy the machines. Fireballs, Lightning Bolts, and many other kinds of attacks flew and struck the machines. But many of the machines didn’t even flinch, especially the mechs upon receiving those attacks, most of those super-humans were Class-3, their attacks could possible destroy androids but not the mechs.

But the only ones who were doing this was the ones who had a long range for their powers.

The ones who needed to get closer to unleash their strength could not even get out of the cover. The machines would constantly fire at them, the moment they leave their cover, their bodies will be full of holes. After all they are just humans, even they were the more evolved ones, their bodies weren’t indestructible.

Deus made the assault of the machines fiercer, the mechs that were at the front of the androids began to move faster and their Plasma Cannons were now frequently fired. The humans were retreating every second and their casualties were increasing as the machines were being more aggresive.

Their battlefield was on the streets and the buildings in the are were crumbling. Some of the human troops were taking cover in some of the buildings and all of them died by the debris.

Kinetic weapons can only do minimum damage to mechs, only explosives, plasma or laser weapons can cause them greater damage. And because of the human groups having only kinetic guns, they were having a hard time destroying the mechs.

Deus saw the progress of the Owl Drones, they were now inside the hotel and many of them was still coming in from the entrance searching for humans.

“?????” Deus was suddenly cut-off from the video feed that came from the Owl Drones.

“A super-human in the building huh. Looks like that place is fairly defended, but everything will change.”

Deus has already arrived at San Francisco and he was going to make the progress here quick.

“The Class-5 wasn’t in the frontline, that means he was in the hotel.”

“No, he went to the hotel the moment the Owl Drones went away from the battlefield. He must have sensed what was going on, but why did he have to personally go there and leave the rest of his group to die by the machines?”

Deus was seeing all the video feeds of the drones to know about what was the Class-5 super-human doing in the group and then he concluded, “His family must be there huh.”
