Back in the War room bunker.
“Hello? I’m looking for mister Stark.” Steve asks a blonde woman reading the newspaper.
Suddenly there is an explosion in the distance.
“Steve lets go!” Sandstorm says saving him from having Peggy want to kill him.
They arrive at the lab and see Stark on the ground.
“Write that down.” He says wiping the dust off standing up with the help of a lab assistant.
“What did I tell you about the energy coming from those weapon clips?” Sandstorm asks Stark
“The source of energy is actually pure energy itself since it is not showing any sign of radioactive decay. It is like a tiny battery that can hold the power of a fragmentation grenade.” Stark repeats exactly what Sandstorm warned him about.
“What else?” Sandstorm asks now fully understanding Tony Stark got his caution to the wind personality from his father.
“There may be a possible emp wave that will make the whole bunker go dark if it is released incorrectly.” Stark says repeating word for word of what Sandstorm warned him of again.
“So where did you go wrong?” Sandstorm asks
“I poked it with a wire and ran it in a completely circuit overloading everything.” Stark says
“Good now Steve is here for his equipment.” Sandstorm says looking at the taken apart scythe on the table as Stark tries to figure out every little detail about it.
“Great follow me.” Stark says leading them into the lab.
“Steve, I’m going to suit up your bike.” Sandstorm says seeing the mechanics work on it.
“Who are you girl.” The mechanic asks.
“Try a lighter clutch plate and are aluminum springs possible?” Sandstorm asks him.
“Yes! More help” the other mechanic says out loud.
After a few minutes of working, and conjuring parts out of thin air in a trance we ended up with turbo fuel injected bike. While the mechanics and several of the scientists watched her.
Working on it her hand slips due to gun shots.
“Damn it Peggy! Do you really have to shoot at Steve! Now I have to fix the timing belt and cam positions again!” Sandstorm yells out having been messed up.
“Sorry?” Peggy says slightly confused.
“Who shoots a gun in a room full of people at a metal object that bullets can ricochet off of!” Sandstorm yells at her as her hands are moving in the engine area.
After about 5 more minutes of them talking.
“You ready to go Alia?” Steve asks the girl
“Yep just bolting in this last part and… Done.” Sandstorm says leaving the completed bike engine that is scarily powerful for this era done.
“Do you plan on throwing that shield like a Frisbee?” Sandstorm asks Rogers
“Uhh yeah maybe?” Steve says
“Stark can I borrow a work bench! I need to work on a electromagnetic wrist guard to catch Steve’s shield.” Sandstorm says copying exactly what the hacksmith did on the Workbench really quickly adding a physical locking feature to hold the shield in place so the batteries are not constantly drained of power. Before Stark can answer.
“Thanks Stark.” Sandstorm says
However Stark is distracted by the modified motorbike.
“Alia your a genius! 4 valves per head! And it’s hemispherical, then what is this?” Stark asks about the last thing seeing the injector at the top.
(A/N not an actual engine design for a bike however it’s a mixture revolutionary car designs thrown on a 3 piston engine.)
“Anyway steve just press this button here.” Sandstorm says pointing at the button that’s in his hand.
“Okay.” Steve says
Sandstorm throws the shield and it clinks into place on his arm.
“Oh did you make that aswell?” Stark asks
“Yep electromagnetic shield holder.” Sandstorm says
“What do you do when it runs out of charge?” Stark asks
“Uhh… it’s a large custom lithium ion battery it should be able to hold that power for awhile. You can also lock the shield into place. And use the magnet only for catching.” Sandstorm says happy she added that feature.
“First assignment Captain” Colonel Phillips says walking up and throwing down a folder with a mission for Italy.
“That’s going to be hard… James doesn’t like planes.” Sandstorm says remembering one of the Wolverine movies and how he hated flying. Was that cause his skeleton maybe.
“I got a plan.” Cap says
“He also can’t get drunk.” Sandstorm says knowing his healing factor is working full force right now.
“Then I don’t have a plan.” Steve says looking troubled.
