“Hello, do you guys happen to have a dining establishment here that serves Sauerbraten?” Sandstorm asks in German.

After getting directions to a pub where some of the soldiers probably eat Sandstorm heads there.

After a few hours of chatting. An explosion is heard in the distance along with the base’s alarm.

All the soldiers in the bar suddenly get up to rush out only to be shot in the back by Sandstorm.

“Thanks for the meal.” Sandstorm says in German leaving a large tip and heads out.

Sandstorm fixes her hat and begins walking towards the base.

Once out of town she shoots all the Nazis in the back.

“They were just going to scout they said. It should be fine they said.” Sandstorm says grumbling to herself.

As she arrives she is saluted to and she puts a bullet in each of them.

Walking into the base. “We need to break them out!” Steve shouts.

“What do you wanna do?” Sandstorm asks

“He wants to break people out of the concentration camps.” Jim says

“Well… there is a dock 20 miles south of here that should be full of sh.i.p.s. We could always borrow a few.” Sandstorm says

“You agree?” James asks

” I mean I’m not saying to do it or not to do it. If our leader makes the call I will help where I can if it goes south he takes responsibility for the lives lost.” Sandstorm says and notices a boy sitting on a stool listening to them.

It’s a young Erik Lehnsherr or Max Eisenhardt.

“Is his mother in the camp?” Sandstorm asks

The boy nods.

“Well if we have him we should be able to do it.” Sandstorm says.

“What do you mean?” Gabe asks

“He’s a metahuman like me, I don’t like the term mutant. However he hasn’t unlocked his power yet. I can unlock it and he can help us get everyone out.” Sandstorm says

“Can I really?” Max asks

“Sure thing Max.” Sandstorm says

“I’m not alright using the kid.” James says

“Can’t be that bad? What are his powers going to be?” Victor asks

“He should be able to control metal.” Sandstorm says while the rest of the howling commandos go silent. It’s a really broken power.

“Could I stop bullets?” He asks

“Yes you could stop bombs and tank shells aswell. You could also theoretically kill someone by ripping the iron out of their blood.” Sandstorm says

“Really?” The boy asks

“Yes really… so? Do you wanna help?” Sandstorm asks him.

“Yes.” Max replies resolutely

Sandstorm puts her hand on his head and everything metal in the room begins to float.

“Well, this mission got a lot easier. But after we are in allied territory we need him to have a safe home and normal life. I don’t want child soldiers.” Steve says

“So. What’s the plan?” Bucky asks

“We steal all the transport trucks from this base. Miss ultimate spy there goes in first and disabled radio communications. Then we rush the base with Max here stopping bullets and jamming guns. Think you can do it kid?” Steve asks him.

“Load every one up on to the trucks make a run for the docks in the south and borrow a war ship.” Steve finishes.
