“Sometimes I forget how rich the Xaviers were.” Sandstorm says
“It’s certainly been a few years.” Charles says in his wheel chair.
“Do you want me to fix your spine by the way?” Sandstorm asks
“You could?” Charles says shocked
“I could but the atrophy would still be there.” Sandstorm says twirling a stimpack in her hand.
“Yes please.” Charles says as they get to the underground aircraft hanger.
Sandstorm stabs him with the stimpack.
“Your father was a huge anti communist wasn’t he?” Sandstorm says looking at the insane bunker under the mansion.
“So first Apocalypse now jean.” The Beast says arriving at the weird midfield SR-71 blackbird they have in the hanger.
“It’s a nice jet.” Sandstorm says looking at it wondering is she could make it invisible then fly around in it like Wonder Woman.
“So where too?” Henery McCoy asks
“Warehouse district NewYork city.” Sandstorm says stepping into the jet.
“So what’s the plan?” Wolverine asks stepping in.
“I got it covered.” Sandstorm says as her body begins to shift.
Her hair grows long and changes to black, her eyes also change their color from the golden they were to black.
“Wow? That’s kinda like Raven.” Henry says having watched Sandstorm transform.
“That’s not the end of if.” Sandstorm says with a smile, as a shape begins to surround her. Yet it’s made of nothing it seems like space is rippling around her.
“That like…” Cyclops says shocked seeing her powers similarities to the Phoenix.
“Just take me too her so I could talk to her.” Sandstorm says
“Talking didn’t work last time.” Cyclops says
“That’s because you aren’t phoenixes.” Sandstorm says with a smile that some how seems scary.
Suddenly the arrive at the warehouse district to see several cars on fire and police firing at a burning girl.
“Open the door I’m going to hop out.” Sandstorm says
“Okay?” Beast says questioningly as the cargo bay opens.
Sandstorm does the super hero landing on the ground.
“‘MOM!’” The Phoenix shouts through Jean.
Sandstorm immediately falls over from being distracted.
“I’m not your mother!” Sandstorm gets up and shouts.
“‘No you are mom!’” The Phoenix shouts
“Okay sure! You know my rules about taking over your host!” Sandstorm shouts back.
Meanwhile the X-men along with the police just stare at them completely dumbfounded.
‘What the hell is going on!!!’ Sandstorm shouts in her head.
(Fate: The Phoenix seems dead set on believing you are her mother.)
‘I get that fate!’ Sandstorm thinks back.
“‘Sorry mom.’” The Phoenix says before the fire suddenly draws back.
“Huh?” Jean says standing on top of burning cars.
Sandstorm thinks about changing back to her normal form however she should be somewhat famous, so she stays as Sand or the Phoenix avatar for now.
Sandstorm then flys Jean up to the jet.
“Okay, here she is. I’m going to go talk to the police. This was quiet a scene, I will probably visit you guys in the future to explain this later. But Phoenix behave yourself and properly communicate with Jean.” Sandstorm says before jumping back out of the plane.
Landing back on the ground all the police point their guns at her.
Sandstorm just puts her hands up knowing she’s either going to shield or going to murder the mutant experimenting organization.
‘So why did the Phoenix behave like that.’ Sandstorm wonders.
(Fate: probably bloodline suppression.)
‘Say I miss Lisa could we bring her here?’ Sandstorm asks
(Fate: Yes but she wouldn’t be immune to the snap like you would.)
