“So it really is you.” Hill says walking in.
“I guess I’m back. Leaving wasn’t a plan like it was with Peggy. Now that everyone is in here, the reason I was attacked was Hydra. I don’t know if they survived since then since I tried my damn hardest to not allow operation paper clip.” Sandstorm says
“You actually personally vouched for Wernher von Braun.” Hill corrects.
“Wasn’t that the man that invented the V2 missiles?” Natasha asks
“They were V2 rockets not missiles.” Sandstorm says
“But they launched them at Britain.” Hill says
“Once the rockets are up, who cares where they come down. That’s not my department says Wernher von Braun.” Sandstorm sings
“Wait, you are telling me the crazy Nazi scientist that was responsible for so much destruction just wanted to launch rockets.” Phil says dumbfounded.
Sandstorm just nods and try’s not to laugh.
“Wait! Let’s get back to what you were saying earlier. Hydra?” Fury asks
“Well since I single handily shut down operation paper clip which would have gotten several Hyrda scientists out of prison. They decided to remove me before I become too much of a threat.” Sandstorm says
“And the odds of them being in shield?” Fury asks
“Decently high, since well we were a new government organization at the time looking for any one with talent.” Sandstorm says knowing screening people in the 60s was really difficult.
“And how long to Peggy shows up with her daughter?” Fury asks
“A few years.” Sandstorm says
“Natasha, I need you to get me a list of names that are suspected hydra agents.” Fury says while Sandstorm knows there’s is some but they shouldn’t be as many or as strong as they were in winter solider.
“Put the winter solider on the list of hydra agents.” Sandstorm says while everyone looks at her.
“Wait the hydra agent that went after you was the winter solider?” Natasha asks remembering her run in with him.
“Yes, it’s weird too cause he looked like Bucky.” Sandstorm mutters
