I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100 - Chapter 474
The Tenth Six Hundred Years would not happen until the next three months, so the Adventurers had the time to decide more thoroughly. For now, they were rebuilding the capital kingdom and are planning on recreating the new East.
“Let me carry that for you,” Lance said to Elliot when he saw the boy carrying a bundle of plank. He tried to take it, but Elliot refused.
“I can do this, you know,” Elliot deadpanned. “I’m not a kid.”
“Err,” Lance pursed his lips. “Your height says otherwise. You look like you need help. Those planks definitely are much bigger than you.”
“No,” Elliot scoffed and walked away, not letting go of the planks. Lance was following him and they were now arguing.
“They’re back to normal, I can see,” Connor chuckled. “Just like an old married couple.”
“We do?” Elliot asked. “I assume we act like bloodlust enemies, waiting for the other to make a mistake to kill him.”
“Agreed,” Lance nodded. “We’re waiting for the othe to trip so we can gain power over the other.”
“Definitely acting like a gross old married couple,” Hope said before leaving with Connor and Ed trailing behind him. The three of them had a different task while Elliot and Lance were assigned to rebuild the main Explorer’s base.
The two mostly gather the materials while a group of Eastern builders to the construction. Buildings from the East have different architectural style, so the Easterners have the full power over it and the rest would only help.
There were three main buildings to rebuild before the reopening of the kingdom. The castle, the main Explorers’ base, and the Cultivation Hall. The castle needed the most workers, so the majority of people helped there. The cultivation hall needed less, so there were only about fifty people working on that while Elliot, Lance, and about a hundred more workers tried to rebuild the Explorers’ Base.
Unlike the Adventurers from the West which had guilds, the Explorers from the East had one organization. It was like the military of each kingdom and they only had branches instead of separate organizations.
The Westerners think that this needed to be addressed, but the Easterners wanted it to stay like this. They are accustomed to have it this way, so the Westerners had no other choice but to respect the decision that was made.
“So, I think we needed more rooms,” Yin, the main builder said. “Before, we only have a window that the missions were going to be released. But we want it this time to bed different, we want this base to feel like it’s home for the Explorers.
“We want a dining hall, rooms, and a lot more features,” Yin continued. “I for today we just need to finish the hall. We’ll go over the rest tomorrow.”
The group assigned to the base continued working by hand as they rebuilt the hall. It was made by wood, marble, and metal that needed to be in perfect sync so they would not only look good, but function good too. The hall was where the Explorers would stay, like the lobby of a guild house.
This is also where they would come to eat and drink, so the size matters. This hall would accomodate all Explorers in the kingdom, so this needed to be big.
About four hours later, it was finally finished. The job was filled with magic and labor that Elliot didn’t notice the time pass by so quickly.
“It’s already afternoon,” Yin said. “Good work, everyone.”
Elliot and Lance finally finished. They went to the house that they shared with their friends and took a bath before going to the roof to watch the kingdom’s nightlife.
“It’s not been long since the war ended here,” Elliot said. “But everyone moved on so quickly. I’m proud for them.”
“It’s as if nothing happened,” Lance smiled. “I also feel good that they can finally start anew.”
“They have been struggling all these years under a tyrant ruler, now they’re free,” Elliot looked at the sky. “This feels nice and also liberating. I wish we could feel this way after we’re done with the Candidates.”
“Do you think I’ll have the vote?” Lance asked. “I don’t really want it, but if the majority thinks so, then I’ll take it. I’ll do my best to defeat the Candidates.”
Elliot looked at him and smiled. “When you do have it, I will help you achieve all the things, along with the others. We will help you, okay?”
“Okay,” Lance returned the smile and raised his mug of coffee. “To the future.”
“To the future!” Connor interrupted, raising his own mug. Ed and Hope were behind him, all carrying their mugs. “Come on, let’s toast to this. I hope this will be the final war. We need a long rest.”
“Don’t jinx it!” Elliot groaned, making them laugh together.

Over the course of the following days, the Adventurers helped the people that remained in the capitol to rebuild their kingdom. Mammon also returned all the skills he stole from everyone that time he was fighting the Man.
“This is going to be the capital kingdom of the East,” Junko informed. “Through this kingdom, we shall build a new continent and this time, we are going to make things right.”
Everyone agreed with her, even the newly made council of the representatives from the twelve kingdoms. They are going to send their own elected officials that will be taught the magic of cultivation from the Maidens themselves.
The Maidens would act as advisors to the new generation while they rebuild their kingdoms. This was an idea made by Lance who thinks that the generations filled with bad politics clouded the true meaning of leadership.
Ilwoo, the crown prince of Kkeun, agreed. He said that this was the reason why the kingdoms were easily conquered by the darkness. Politics was rotten in the East, that was why they needed to reboot it.
“I, Ilwoo the crown prince of Kkeun…” Ilwoo trailed off.. “Nominate Lance to be the ruler of this new kingdom.”
