I like them big, do you? - Chapter 161
Reylin’s Crimson Dragon didn’t need to exert any mana. Its body alone killed all surrounding enemies, bringing peace to its master’s heart.
It brought even more peace to Princess Rose.
Reylin’s Crown Mana helped her deal with the failed ice mana coursing through her veins. Had he been not here, her body would’ve been long since dead.
It wouldn’t be just her emotions disappearing.
It would be a fate worse than death!
Her eyelids were nearly dropped wholly, but Reylin’s face filled that little gap.
He sighed, “How naive of me… I also didn’t contact anyone…”
Emotions often pulled many tricks, and it was one of them.
Reylin turned his eyes toward the princess and brought her into his arms, “You don’t deserve to sacrifice yourself.”
In his embrace, the princess’ body shuddered. His warmth spread across her body, alleviating the painful side-effects from failed ice mana.
However, it also helped her new power subside within her!
Alas, one last push was needed to get that power.
Reylin’s speech was precisely what Princess Rose needed, “You decided to be responsible for countless people. You have seen many of them die beneath the dark matter people and players… You will either see all deaths and die with a heavy heart or survive, so you will die a natural death with your kingdom prevailing.
No in-between,” Reylin said with dilated eyes.
In those eyes, Princess Rose saw no buts.
Reylin wouldn’t allow her to choose.
She parted her lips, but no voice came out. As her heart subsided alongside the mana, Princess Rose achieved the feat she yearned for.
She created her own ice mana that didn’t have any ties to the ascended.
Her purpose was for her people and also for herself.
If it worked, she would get more power to face King Julian and the ascended and have her own word in all the world’s affairs. If not, Princess Rose would be liberated from her woes!
“I am worse than whore… Royalty? I went from one ship to another. A strong woman? I failed to get a word each time I parted my lips. I am that kind of woman,” Princess Rose spoke as she let Reylin’s clothes go.
She stood on her two while staring into Reylin and Crimson Dragon coiling around his neck, “We are here together because you are the last ship I can hop in.”
“There are many more ships, actually. Be it players, with unique classes or second layer’s races,” Reylin tilted his head, “You are kinda a fickle woman, however. We will speak about you later.”
Princess Rose nodded.
Although she didn’t know what kind of plans Reylin would lay out for her, she could tell that Yuki’s sacrifice left a scar on his heart. He wouldn’t go against her kingdom and home.
Should he not offer anything, Princess Rose would’ve long since offered herself to him… Even if Reylin told her about many other ships, she didn’t have the will or strength to go for them.
That last ship called Crimson Dragon was the last one she would work on and the last one she would thoroughly sacrifice herself for.
[Princess Rose is eligible for The Crimson Dragon’s System.]
“Oh?” Reylin didn’t know how the fire system would work on her, but he sent her the invitation to his ranks, then turned around.
Princess Rose accepted the system, then her soul and body fell to Reylin’s hands.
[You have found a clue to the Sapphire Dragon’s origins.]
Ding!
[You have received the new quest!]
[Legendary Quest – The Sapphire Dragon’s Queen Soul.]
“I… I got the legendary quest?” Princess Rose whispered.
Reylin saw through her system messages as he was the owner of Crimson Dragon’s System. He inferred that the sapphire dragon was probably one rank weaker than his bloodline. Otherwise, it wouldn’t really make any sense.
Or perhaps, that was how the fantasy world was.
Reylin side-glanced, “The darkest place is under the candle.”
Princess Rose blushed.
The duo looked around the dungeon as they needed a way out. Of course, Reylin was sure he would soon face dark matter people or at least one of King Julian’s sons.
It was so dark that only Reylin’s Crimson Dragon’s flames could light up some areas. Reylin saw a few doors, and each would invite him to the puzzle labyrinths with countless fierce monsters.
Alas, Reylin and Princess Rose wouldn’t see through the dungeon.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
“Even if we jam your system, you still can bless the resident with it and give her your blessing. That’s formidable of you, Crown Reylin,” A man in long robes and specter stomped his way toward Reylin.
Princess Rose trembled from fear while Reylin narrowed his eyes, “You?”
The one who clapped was Zamram.
But before him, his father and the strongest dark matter man stomped his way toward the duo.
It was King Julian.
“You know… Crown Reylin… I could see a future with us as allies… There are so many worlds outside…” King Julian faintly smiled, then his face contorted by a genuine ire, “You killed my son…”
A dark matter oozed out of King Julian’s clothes and his body.
He turned his eyes toward his son, Zamram, “Leave. Should anyone come here, hack the dungeon’s system and stop them.”
“As you wish, father,” Zamram bowed, then glanced at Reylin and Princess Rose for the last time.
After his son left, King Julian brought out a peculiar existence.
“Crimson Dragon… You have seen Hans’ skills. He brought out a royal horse… My other son has a royal eagle… Unfortunately, I am a different case,” King Julian’s back no longer was alone.
From behind, a woman with voluptuous curves appeared.
She had the same dark skin like him, but her body was wrapped in tight bandages. Those bandages tightly bonded her limbs to her body, and she floated due to King Julian’s mana! Her unique hair scattered behind…
It was dark red hair that Zamram wouldn’t have mistaken!
“My wife refused to come here. She was against our family coming to this world… Alas, we need merits… Our world is much harsher than Earth or Faynom World… Oh, I think Princess Rose will understand me here…
Being a king… is taxing,” King Julian smiled faintly.
“So you turned your wife into a skill?” Reylin couldn’t get more disgusted.
“She killed my royal beast, so I was forced to bind her to me and use hers,” King Julian replied.
He chuckled, “I think I have more compatibility with her royal beast, though.”
A portal appeared behind them, and a monstrous head popped from inside! It was grotesque head to the core.
It lacked eyes, and empty sockets spilled out dark matter’s tears.
The monster’s lips parted and let out horrifying screams, which brought a similar effect to the abomination’s howls.
Its skin was wrinkled and reeking off with a repulsive stench.
Two portals appeared after its head fully emerged.
Hands came out next!
Reylin sighed, “I don’t have much time. And you can’t fight with your mana yet… I will leave you with one task.
Try to see a way to hack the dungeon’s system. We will leave by cleaning it.”
“I will try my best,” Princess Rose bit her lips after replying.
She had never used the system in such a way. How could she even try to hack it like Zamram did?
Alas, Reylin found no other way outside.
And dying here was out of the question.
“Showtime,” he whispered faintly after Crimson Dragon equipped him with its armor for the second time!
