I Own A Sharingan - Chapter 27
The boat slowly approached the island, Raigo, Judi and Husun were sitting on the main deck carrying several objects in various backpacks.
“Husun your equipment is lighter, you will take care of the two food backpacks.”
“Yes boss, what about the sampling equipment?”
“I’ll take care of it, Judi you and Daniel will transport the material for our future camp, as well as the necessities.”
“Okay, boss.”
Judi nodded her head before finishing packing her things into a large backpack.
At the same time, Karla emerged from one of the ship’s cabins, holding her head painfully.
Seeing everyone smiling, Judi could not help but ask.
“Did you sleep well, doctor?”
Karla fractured her head painfully and asked curiously.
“What’s happened since I fainted?”
“You fell overboard, it was the boss who saved you, sorry, I didn’t know you were still alive, Ithought the waves had carried you away and that you had already drowned,” said Husun with a slightly embarrassed face.
She looked at Raigo and thanked him, then Husun asked curiously.
“How did you manage not to drown and boss, how did you know she had not been swept away by the waves?”
“You’re materialization and your Hatsu is in a permanent state of In, right?”
Raigo said, ignoring Husun’s question, Karla nodded her head.
“This is not the time to talk about it, we will soon be landing on the island, come and prepare your equipment, once we have landed on the island we will only come back to the boat once every 7 days to stock up on provisions.”
Everyone nodded to Raigo’s words, they had already prepared the plan to follow during the expedition since they were in Kakin, so they were not surprised.
Raigo moved away from the others and came to the bow.
He remained silent while looking at the compass he had taken out of his pocket.
The closer he got to the island the more the compass needle got excited, turning faster and faster.
“There must be something disturbing the magnetic field, this adventure may be more dangerous than I thought, surely more dangerous than the fog forest.”
He looked pensive as he scanned the horizon as the boat approached land.
This island was gigantic, at the point Raigo wondered how it had not been discovered earlier.
According to his information it was discovered by a fishing vessel of a large company in Kakin.
The vessel had been caught in a storm and lost contact with the country for about six months before reappearing completely empty without a passenger.
Investigators would have found the boat completely empty and notes from the captain mentioning the island with approximate coordinates deriving from his itinerary during the storm.
The investigators were doubtful at first, they thought that the sailors must have been captured by pirates or human traffickers, this kind of thing was not uncommon, but they soon found traces in the ship confirming the captain’s notes, such as several photos of the island taken from the boat, recorded on camera film belonging to one of the sailors.
In addition to this, one of the photos well developed by the investigators clearly showed ancient ruins on one of the beaches of the island.
They quickly located the island thanks to the various information they had and informed the government, which also passed the information on to the Hunters Association.
“The magnetic field of the island must be one of the reasons why the sailors were unable to contact civilization, but the question I ask myself is why they did not leave the island?”
“Everybody get ready to dock.”
“Yes, boss.”
The others, except for Daniel, who drove, each carrying several backpacks, turned towards Raigo, and it was then bȧrėly 10 meters from the beach that Raigo felt a shiver run through him.
For a brief moment, he had the impression of being attacked by a evil aura.
His aura unconsciously exploded out of his body, the same thing happened to everyone including Daniel who was driving.
But the next second, the feeling of aggression they all felt suddenly disappeared, at the same time that this feeling disappeared, their boat disappeared as well.
They all felt emptiness under their feet for a moment before they fell into the water.
“Shit! What’s going on? Where’s the boat?”
Daniel cried out, everyone suddenly had a feeling of fear, Raigo, who was the calmest of all, took off his turban and looked around.
“Calm down, swim to the shore!”
Raigo’s screams and their hunter experiences, quickly brought them back to their calm, they swam quickly with Raigo to the beach, before scanning the surroundings.
“Where’s the boat?”
“Be on the lookout – it could be an enemy attack!”
“Boss, what do we do?”
Raigo, hearing their questions, took a deep breath to calm down before saying in a calm voice.
“Calm down and tell me exactly what each of you saw before the boat disappeared.”
