I Refuse To Be A Character In A Novel - Chapter 49 Part 2
“The young master has to review his lessons for tomorrow’s classes.”
Although her tone was polite, the gaze on Erna, sitting on the piano bench alongside Jonas, held a sense of hostility.
“I understand.”
Instead of Erna, it was Jonas who spoke first.
He came down from his seat following Catherine’s words and walked straight towards her.
Before reaching her, Jonas turned back around and gave a formal greeting to his mother.
“I’ll be going now, mother. Thank you for sharing this play with me.”

“You can go ahead, Ms.Dale will follow in a bit.”

Honestly, it was more so because she didn’t want to compete with anyone when it came to who Jonas considered as a mother.
However, putting her feelings aside, it was unwise to abruptly separate Jonas from the guardian he had known and depended on for as long as 6 years.
Simply put, Erna didn’t want Jonas to be separated from both his mother and his nanny around the same time.
As time passed and Jonas was getting older, Catherine’s duties were already being narrowed and Jonas would soon be independent from her.
‘I just have to wait a bit longer’
Nonetheless…
