Apart from the vast amount of points he now possess from farming, he also noticed the change of his berserk explosion skill now. Moreover, there was actual upgrade button right next to it.
Tyrion brows furrowed as he thought about what it meant when another stairs leading to the next floor dropped down from above.
Tyrion ignored the flight of stairs and glanced at the shining relic by the side of the stairs. Nôv(el)B\jnn
He immediately flashed before it, eagerness on his face as he grabbed at the item.
This time, the Relic was actually a pair of dark sleek boot.
Form an ordinary person’s point of of view, the boots weren’t too fashionable and apart from its sleek shape, it looked quite plain to the eye.
Tyrion grabbed a the Relic and he was surprised at the weight. It was almost as though he was lifting a large stone.
He tilted the boots curiously, to check on the sole and he was stunned.
Beneath the boots were two mini jet engines installed. A smaller one at the forefront of the sole and a bigger one that enveloped the heels too.
Without hesitation, Tyrion immediately put on the boots and at first, it appeared quite loose, but there was a slight whirring, mechanical sound as the boots tightened around his feet, becoming almost perfectly fitted.
“Doesn’t seem bad.” Tyrion nodded in satisfaction seeing it wasn’t as bad as he had expected.
The secund after the boot tightened to match his size, Tyrion felt extremely comfortable, as though he barefooted.
He couldn’t even feel the buldge of the mini engine installed at the buttom of the both boots.
“Now, what’s exactly does this do.” Tyrion leaned forward to take a single step when he felt an enormous amount of force erupted from his right leg.
“BOOM!!”
“WHOOSH!!!”
Blue flames combusted from the jet engines, spewing multitudes of flames as Tyrion’s body was propelled upward like a rocket.
“W-what the hell!?”
Tyrion was shocked and before his head collided with the roof of this floor, he struck his palm at the roof with a ‘bang’, negating the force as he slowly regained his center of gravity, not daring to make any sudden movement
There, in mid air, Tyrion floated 20 meters above ground! He, was actually flying!
He almost couldn’t believe it as he stood weightless in the air.
His eyes shone in excitement as he leaned ever so slightly. Slowly, he floated forward in a straight line.
Although he felt the ‘Dust’ draining out of him like a punctured dam, the euphoria from flying overwhelmed him.
He flew around the second floor like a bird and he was quick to learn how to use it.
It wasn’t until a minute and 30 seconds passed did he feel himself being sucked dry of ‘Dust’ placing him in an exhausted state.
The flames ejected from his Sky walker boots reduced until there wasn’t a source to power them any longer. Then, Tyrion fell.
“Bang!”
Currently, a thirty meters free fall was nothing to him with his strength.
While a few tiny cracks spread from the bones in his leg to his spine, they healed the very second he stood up.
Shaking his head slightly, he grabbed at the raw in his bag back and devoured it entirely.
It wasn’t till he was satisfied and well rested did he climb up to the next floor in preparation for the incoming battle.
Climbing up to the third floor, felt as though he was passing though a very large bubble.
However though, Tyrion didn’t meet the army he was expecting but instead, was met by a singular individual seated cross legged on the floor, with his back facing him.
The person’s entire body seem to be covered up by a layer of metal, making him look like a real cyborg of he was one already.
Immediately seeing this person, Tyrion’s brows furrowed deeply. He couldn’t sense this person at all!
He could see him, but his other senses was unable to feel him.
Usually, during his previous battles, he could sense his opponents and his opponent could also sense him since he even though he was simply an insignificant genetic soldier, his body was stronger, hence, possess more ‘Dust’ energy within him.
It was why he could retaliate easily in the previous two floors but now that he was totally unable to sense this being, his face couldn’t help but turn grim for the first time since he entered this tower.
“It’s been so long.”
A slightly robotic voice sounded out from the entire floor.
“Who are you?” Tyrion asked with furrowed brows, he was beginning to feel a certain type of indescribable pressure, slowly pervading the entire floor like some sort of domain.
The cyborg’s body creaked like an engine that hadn’t been oiled for a long while as he said slowly
“You can call me… Adam Smasher!”
