I Reincarnated as a Shinai - Chapter 349
“Oh! Are you talking to Reiji, right now? What did he say?”
Ryu heard them call out Reiji so he immediately asked.
“That’s right, Sir Ryu. Master Reiji isn’t in danger and was only sealed at the moment. Unfortunately, there are Dark Elves at the level of First-Class Arcanists outside.”
Diether explained the situation to the three Sentient Arcana.
“That’s fine… Although it would be difficult, you can probably do it. We will be helping you as well anyway.”
Luoyang, the Taichi Sword Arcana replied. He sounded reliable so everyone started getting excited. They have never fought someone at that level yet. Some of them have seen the Knight Champion’s ability but it is still completely different for First-Class Arcanists.
They have an opposite fighting style since the Arcanists mostly rely on their Spiritual Energy and Arcana while the Knight Champions use their Sword Techniques or Martial Arts.
“Well, I also wanted to help Reiji. He’s the only Blessed Arcana that I know except for our three leaders after all. We might be able to find something out from him.”
Dingxiang, the Kris Sword Arcana, added. This Sentient Arcana may not have interacted with Reiji but since the latter took the attention of the three leaders, he naturally became curious about him and wanted to learn more about the existence of Deity and why they weren’t Blessed.
Currently, because of the Sacred Sword, Divine Shield, and the Majestic Quill Pen’s current suspicious behaviors, they found themselves at a loss on what to do!
They felt something had changed the Mind Collection after a few years. It might be related to the Sacred Sword’s sudden recovery or perhaps, because of the Deity that has blessed them!
It had become so difficult to stay within the organization so they decided to leave for a while and find out the truth by asking another Blessed Arcana.
The three of them wanted to have a purpose! Right now, their existence was previously circulating around the Mind Collection’s aim to defeat the Execration or the Cursed Arcana’s organization.
However, if they aren’t part of the Mind Collection, what would they do? What could be their purpose for having sentience?
Why are they different from the other Arcana? Is it also possible for them to be blessed by a Deity?
They wanted to know a lot of things.
They didn’t mention it to the seven Kendo Practitioners but their desire to meet Reiji isn’t lower than them.
“Great! Having you guys on our side will surely help us. For now, let’s make a plan. We can’t just rush in like this.” Stasis said.
However, Stella has a different opinion.
“Can’t we use this opportunity to attack now? The Gryphons are holding on, after all.”
“That’s true… But that should only last for 10 more minutes. If we can’t save our master at that time, we will be attacked from all sides.” Stasis replied.
At this moment, Diether had an idea as he assess the situation.
“We’ll split into two, or maybe three groups. Two groups will be assigned to fight the First-Class Arcanists and the last group will create a diversion to deal with the other Dark Elves.”
“That’s a good idea.”
“That sounds better. Now, let’s talk about the division!”
They discussed for about five minutes before they finally managed to form three groups.
The first group will be Stella, Diether, and Ryu.
The second group will be Stasis, Vinete, and Luoyang.
The third and last group will be formed by Rufus, Imane, Mourad, and Dingxiang.
Rufus’ group will be tasked to fight the warriors outside and buy the first two groups some time to deal with the two First-Class Arcanists of the Dark Elves and save Reiji.
“Alright, let’s move!”
Seeing that the Gryphons are about to be defeated, they decided to make enter the town.
“Mourad, can you continuously shoot with that rifle of yours?” Rufus asked as they separated from the two groups.
They are planning to head to the location where the Gryphons are causing trouble.
Rufus has Ethereal Pathfinder Bow while Mourad has Savage Hunting Rifle.
Both of them can use long-range attacks so they were tasked to harass the Dark Elves from the distance.
On the other hand, Imane has a legendary ring Arcana capable of supporting the two while they were attacking from a distance.
As for Dingxiang, he doesn’t have reliable long-range abilities but he’s confident that no one will be able to ambush their group with its set of skills.
“I can only shoot four rounds per minute. It can be lesser than that if I decided to use Invisible Blast Bullet, Homing Bullet, and Piercing.”
Mourad smiled helplessly.
He clearly knows how terrible it was. However, he can’t use other bullets as well since his Arcana doesn’t accept man-made bullets. It is unlike Rufus’ bow that can use normal enchanted arrows.
“I see… Anyway, your bullets should have more destructive power than my arrows, right? That’s fine. As long as you use them carefully and kill your target in one shot.”
“Yeah… I can probably do that. I had a lot of practice. These Dark Elves aren’t as agile as the Forest Elves anyway. They mostly rely on their mounts.”
“Oh? That’s good to hear then.” Rufus nodded as they looked at the chaos happening in a distance.
They were on top of a building about 300 meters away. It is a decent distance for the two long-range attackers.
“I’ve set up my Domain. You guys can go all out and I’ll protect you all.” Dingxiang said as the three noticed that on the ground, some kind of magic field has already formed while the sword is floating in the middle.
It has a mysterious glow which is quite a beautiful sight for them. Nevertheless, it wasn’t time to be curious and they could only trust the Sentient Arcana for now.
Then, Imane activated two of her Ring’s abilities.
“Eagle Sight… Tranquility…”
Two support buffs were used giving Rufus and Mourad more confidence. Right now, they can see over 50 Elite Warriors of the Dark Elves and felt quite nervous. However, for some reason, they felt that they can hit them all as long as they maintained some distance.
Soon, the two started shooting at the Dark Elves giving the five remaining Gryphons a chance to escape the elves’ encirclement!
