Chapter 17: Chapter 17 – Pork Orc
Bong ventured deeper into the dark forest in search of a high-level monster to level up. To his surprise, he stumbled upon an Orc Village nestled among the trees. The village was enclosed by sturdy fences and consisted of numerous small huts where the Orcs resided.
The village was illuminated with lights, presenting a stark contrast to the primitive surroundings of the intelligence monsters in the rest of the Dark Forest.
Bong’s eyes widened as he took in the sight of this organized and intelligent monster community, making him realize that there were more advanced creatures hidden deep within the heart of the forest.
“Wow, this is quite a revelation. I never expected to come across a group of monsters living together like this,” Bong muttered in amazement as he observed the organized Orc Village.
“Wow, all I can see is pork,” Bong exclaimed, his eyes wide and his imagination playing tricks on him as he envisioned pork instead of Orcs.
“Oh, come on now! Do you honestly believe that flimsy defense of yours can stand a chance against me, the one and only award-winning Assassin Bat?” Bong quipped, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he playfully mocked the Orcs before him.
“Sonic Sense,” Bong utilized his skill to detect any powerful Orc that he couldn’t handle and avoid them.
Suddenly, he spotted an Orc in the middle of the village whose aura sent shivers down Bong’s spine.
“Who’s this, huh? The Big Daddy Orc? Alright, you lucky porky, I’ll spare you for now,” Bong playfully wagged his wing finger as he spoke.
Flapping his wings, Bong soared toward the Orc village, using the cover of the night’s shadows to teleport himself into the village.
Bong scratched his head with his wing while scanning the area for an Orc that he could easily take down.
“Found you, and you as well. You’re going to be my dinner tonight, you porky fellas,” Bong giggled with a mischievous smile on his face while pointing at each target with his wing.
Bong maintained his distance from the central area of the Orc village, staying in the shadows of the night to avoid any danger. He conjured a dagger from the shadows and swiftly and precisely slew each Orc with swift blows. The shadowy dagger cut off the head of each Orc guarding the outskirts of the village. Bong moved like an assassin, silently striking down the Orcs without alerting those nearby.

“Yeah, finally I’ve got a skill to protect myself. There you go, my lovely System. I knew you wouldn’t want me to die again,” Bong exclaimed with a hint of playfulness and gratitude.
[ALERT]
[Oh, you caught on, did you? Well, can’t have my favorite drama queen meeting an untimely end, now can we?]
“Hey hey, you, you devilish System, for God’s sake, you’re the drama queen more than me,” Bong exclaimed with an amused shake of his wing finger.
[ALERT]
[So you’re accepting that you’re a drama queen?]
Bong whistled nonchalantly, as if trying to distract himself from the System screen. He then proceeded to enthusiastically savor the blood of the Orc he had slain moments ago.
[ALERT] The initial posting of this chapter occurred via N0v3l.B11n.
[Are you trying to dodge me?]
“Who, me? Avoiding you? Nah, I just need to focus on leveling up right now. So, shoo shoo, go bother someone else,” Bong responded with a dismissive wave of his wing.
[ALERT]
[Skill ‘Gluttony’ activated. Obtained new Skill: ‘Earthshaker Slam’]

[Skill Acquired: ‘Twilight Fang’]

Bong’s eyes widened as an alert from the System appeared before him.
Bong couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement as he read the alert. The new skill sounded intriguing, and he was eager to test it out. With a determined grin, he flexed his wings and prepared to put his newfound abilities to the test.
“Alright, time to put these new Twilight Fangs to the test! Get ready, Orcs, because when the sun takes a nap and the moon decides to shine, my fangs are going to throw a midnight party on your hides!” Bong proclaimed with a mischievous chuckle, clearly eager to show off his upgraded skills.
“Time for a little Twilight tango, you porky Orcy!” Bong exclaimed with a mischievous grin as he soared through the night sky.
Under the canopy of the night sky, with the full moon radiating its soft glow, Bong took to the air. His wings stretched wide, catching the ethereal moonlight as he soared gracefully through the dark expanse. The moon served as his spotlight, casting a silvery sheen on his sleek form as he performed a mesmerizing aerial dance.
His wings cutting through the air. The full moon illuminated his path, casting an ethereal glow around him. With a swift and graceful movement, he crossed his wings like a dancer in mid-air. Then, with the moon as his spotlight, he descended upon an unsuspecting Orc, his Twilight Fangs gleaming menacingly. With a powerful strike, he sank his fangs into the Orc’s flesh, a display of both beauty and terror in the moonlit night.

[Condition Met for next Evolution]
[Do you wish to evolve Y/N ?]
“Haha, not falling for that one! I’ll evolve in my cozy cave, thank you very much. Do you want me to become monster sushi out here?” Bong said with a chuckle, his wings flapping playfully as he continued to feast on the defeated Orcs.
After enjoying his porky feast, Bong was getting ready to depart from the Orc Village and head back to his cave for his next evolution. However, his attention was quickly caught by a strange phenomenon: the bodies of the Orcs were gradually disappearing one by one.
“What in the world is happening? Why are the bodies of the Orcs vanishing?” He scratched his head, puzzled and concerned.
“Wait a minute! Is there an audience for this disappearing act? Is this some sort of dark magic comedy show? I better find a good hiding spot before I become the next act,” Bong exclaimed with wide eyes, his heart racing in a mix of curiosity and comedic anxiety.
[ALERT]
[Oh my stars, Drama queen, this is the added effect of the Twilight Fang! After they meet their doom, they’re vanishing into shadows. You’re the one causing this, you know.]
“Oh, so this was my show, and I was the mysterious magician? Haha, I guess I’ve got some tricks up my wings after all,” Bong chuckled with a puzzled but amused laugh.
“And you didn’t tell me about it because I never bothered to ask,” Bong remarked, a hint of playfulness in his tone.

[Blushing, you know me]
