Chapter 22: Chapter 22 – Birth of Vampire
“Ah, My Lord, there is much more to this tale. Please, allow me to continue while you savor this exquisite vintage,” Seraphina entreated, her words laced with a mixture of respect and intrigue.
He took a sip of the exquisite vintage drink, his eyes widening in a surprised and slightly amused expression as the taste danced upon his palate. His lips formed a stretched grin as he regarded Seraphina, eagerly awaiting the continuation of her story.
After the war came to an end, the few survivors scattered throughout the land. Seraphina found herself separated from her friends, and she had no knowledge of their whereabouts. Before their separation, they had heard a prophecy from an elder vampire. The prophecy spoke of a bat born with the blood of an ancient legacy, a descendant of the Mother of Vampires, who would come into being after a century.
Long ago, there was a goddess. She once lived among the heavens, but she fell into love with mortal king, which angered the gods. In their fury, they cast a cruel cruse upon her: an eternal thirst for human blood and a life of isolation.
She was condemned to an eternity of solitude. The curse that drove her to thirst for blood was a constant agony. She was forced to drink the blood of those she cared about most. Was it a curse to have loved a mortal so deeply? A cruel fate that she was bound to, despised by the very humans she once held close to her heart.
She could no longer find solace in water, for only human blood could quench her thirst. Over time, her cravings grew uncontrollable, and she began to drink from humans to survive. This curse transformed those humans into a new race, known as Vampires, forever bound by their shared hunger for blood.
And so, the Vampire race came into existence, with her as their revered Queen and Mother of Vampire.
The family tree of the Vampire race traces its roots back to the Mother of Vampires herself. She gave rise to the first Ancient Vampires, who then paved the way for the emergence of the Pure Blood Vampires. From this foundation, various bloodlines branched out, giving rise to half-blood Vampires as well.
These diverse bloodlines have formed numerous clans within the Vampire society. The status and royalty of each clan are determined by the purity and proximity of their bloodline to the origins of the Mother of Vampires and the Ancient Vampires. In essence, the family tree embodies the intricate web of heritage and hierarchy that defines the Vampire world.
The long history and lineage of the Vampire race came to an end after the war between Humans and Vampires. Sadly, the Humans won the conflict by exploiting the weaknesses of the Vampires, which were revealed through a betrayal. This marked the sad ending of the Vampire legacy that had lasted for ages, and Humans emerged victorious.
“And, my Lord, you are the bat from the prophecy, the one who can evolve. You possess the same essence of the pure-blood Ancient Bloodlords, but your bloodline is even more potent, surpassing even that of the Ancient Bloodlords,” She exclaimed with a mixture of excitement and awe, her eyes sparkling with intensity.
Bong’s eyes widened in awe, leaving him speechless. He entered a state of deep contemplation, lost in his thoughts as he processed the incredible tale he had just heard.
“What is she even saying? I belong to the lineage of the Mother of Vampires? I only gained this power from Lysander Drakonov? Wait… hold on a moment…” Bong’s mind was racing as he tried to make sense of the revelation.
Bong suddenly remembered the memories of Lysander Drakonov, the flashbacks from the past, and all the pieces of the puzzle started falling into place. He realized that he did indeed carry the blood of the Mother of Vampires within him. As this realization struck him, his eyes widened in shock, and the secret of his life was unveiled right before his eyes.
“Ohh! My Lord, I’ve been searching for you for a long time, hoping to revive our Vampire race once again,” Seraphina exclaimed with fervor, her eyes glowed with a sparkling light of hope, reflecting her deep longing and anticipation.
“Hey, hey, hold on there, I’m just a bat now, don’t pin your hopes on my bat wings,” Bong replied, a playful twinkle in his eyes and a touch of amusement in his voice.
“My Lord, I understand. There’s quite a weight on your wings. I’ll leave you alone to think,” she said with a respectful nod before gracefully leaving the chamber.
She left Bong alone in the cave, her expression downcast and a touch of sadness in her eyes. There was a glimmer of hope mixed with uncertainty as she hoped Bong would agree to help her in reviving the Vampire race once again.
