“Wait Who? What interrupted, Ouch my head hurts, Where I am? ” Bong muttered to himself, his voice held a hint of worry as he navigated this strange reality.
“Why is it so dark? I can’t see anything,” Bong muttered to himself, his voice carrying a mix of confusion and frustration as he struggled to make sense of the dim surroundings.
[Skill Echolocation activated ]
“Agggg…. My head hurts. What is this? So much information, I can’t handle it,” Bong groaned, he felt overwhelmed by a surge of sensations and knowledge flooding his mind. The system activated the skill of echolocation, meant to aid a bat’s navigation, but the influx of data proved too much for him to process.
“Wait, I just realized I can’t speak out loud; I’m communicating in my mind,” Bong exclaimed in surprise, his voice tinged with a hint of worry at the realization that he couldn’t use his voice as he normally would.
“Let me focus and attempt to make some sense of the situation I’m in. I need to find the ‘status’ of my current condition,” Bong muttered to himself, showing determination in his thoughts as he sought to gather information and gain a clearer understanding of his circumstances.
As Bong mentioned the word ‘status,’ a system screen suddenly flashed before his eyes, revealing a display of his traits and information.

“Wait, what’s this? A system? I never had something like this in my previous world. I think this is what Lysander was talking about. But how did I become a Bat?” Bong questioned once again, his thoughts a mix of curiosity and confusion as he held with the extraordinary changes that had occurred with him.
[ALERT]
[Due to the transmigration of your soul from one world to another, the process was interrupted, resulting in losing the data required for the transformation into a human body.]
[As an alternative, I transformed you into a suitable species. When you kill monsters, you can level up and evolve into higher species using the innate skill ‘Gluttony’.]
“Ah! Finally, something positive. But who are you?” Bong asked the System, his thoughts tinged with confusion and curiosity.
[ALERT]
[I am an evolution system created by Lysander Drakonov. I am here to assist you in reaching your goal, as commanded by my creator]
“I’ll be in your care then,” Bong replied to the System, his thoughts holding a mixture of acceptance and willingness to work alongside the System.
“I need to evolve into a higher species. I hope I can regain my human form because this bat form is quite limiting. It’s just flying and hanging upside down,” Bong expressed with a touch of frustration, his thoughts conveying his desire for a more versatile form and abilities.
“Agghh. Wait, what is this? There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. No, wait, the light is coming towards me,” Bong exclaimed, his thoughts filled with a mixture of surprise and curiosity as he observed the unexpected phenomenon.
Bong’s eyes widened as he witnessed a group of adventurers entering the tunnel. They held torches in their hands. There were four of them, each one wearing an armor made from the dragon skin. One had a sword strapped to their back, another carried a shield, while the third and fourth held wands in their hands. They appeared to be a party. The initial posting of this chapter occurred via Ñøv€l-B!n.
“Are those adventurers? I think I know where I am now. This is a dungeon, and they’re here to clear it,” Bong realized, his thoughts holding a mixture of understanding and realization as he pieced together the situation from the sight before him.
The adventurers ventured deep into the dungeon to conquer it. You can clear the dungeon by defeating the monsters inside and ultimately kill the final boss of the dungeon. Bong were silently trailing them from the behind trying to figure out the motive of adventurers.
“Someone’s following us,” One of the adventurers warned, sensing Bong’s aura and alerting the rest of the party to his presence.
“Wait, they can sense me. This could be dangerous. I need to hide, I need to hide,” Bong thought urgently, his face reflecting a growing sense of panic as he fully know the risk of being detected by the adventurers.
He quickly decided to find a safe place to hide himself from the adventurers’ senses.
“Where? I cannot see anyone, I think you’re quite sensitive in this horrific dungeon. Are you scared?” One of the adventurers mocked his threat detection ability and laughed mockingly.
“Shut up, both of you! Our mission is to gather information about this newly formed dungeon in the Dark Forest and report back, ” Commanded one of the adventurers, silencing the mocking and redirecting the group’s focus to their mission.
“Phew, I guess I’m safe for now,” Bong exhaled in relief, his facial expression reflecting a sense of ease.
“So this dungeon is newly formed. It could be because of my transmigration into this world. And I found another clue – I’m in the Dark Forest. But where is Lysander Drakonov? He mentioned something about meeting in the next life,” Bong mused aloud, connecting the dots and considering the possibility of his current location and the connection to Lysander Drakonov.
“Help! We need to run. We can’t defeat this monster, ” A voice cried out from within the dungeon. The adventurers were struggling against a powerful monster, struggling to kill the monster.
They ran with all their might, desperately trying to escape the danger they were in. Only three adventurers were visible now, their breaths ragged as they struggled to save their lives from the pursuing monster. One of them remained trapped, holding off the monster so that the rest of the party could escape and bring back information about the powerful monster lurking within the dungeon.
Bong witnessed the plea for help from those adventurers. As a former last hope of humanity, he rushed there to assist the trapped adventurer. He couldn’t resist the urge to provide aid. When he arrived at the scene, he found the adventurer on his last breath, lying there and waiting for his death. Despite his dangerous situation, he wore a smile, relieved that his party member had managed to escape the clutches of the monster.
The monster walked away from the scene, monster recognized that the trapped adventurer was on the brink of death. It had no intention to continue the fight any longer.
