I Reincarnated As The OP Villainess!? - Chapter 23
‘How boring…’ I thought to myself.
I was laying on my bed staring at the ceiling.
‘Snow…’ A voice called me.
‘Yes? Roxas’ I responded.
‘Close your eyes,’ He said.
‘Why?’ I asked boredly.
‘Just do it,’ He said impatiently. I closed my eyes obediently.
‘Now open them,’ I got a bit irritated.
‘Are you kidding me?’ I said, eyes still closed.
‘Ugh,’ Suddenly I felt something hit the back of my head then I opened my eyes.
“Stubborn, little girl,” I saw Roxas in front of me, and my first instinct was to slap him.
“Idiot, you’re a kid too!” I tried to slap him but he grabbed my wrist before my hand landed on his cheek.
He held my hand and led me to a small cottage.
When I looked around I was in a wide grass field With a little cottage on a hill and a big sakura tree across the cottage.
“We’re in the mindscape right?” I ask in wonder.
“…” I got more irritated when he didn’t answer.
I use my free hand and smack the side of his head.
“Ow! Hey!” He rubbed the side of his head looking pitiful.
“Ah, I’m sorry! Did it hurt a lot?” I asked frantically.
“No, I just wanted to see if what Sylar said was true,” he said, looking like his normal annoying self.
“What did Sylar say?” I said wanting to hit him again.
“… Sylar said he’d freeze my mouth shut if I told you,” He said as we continued walking hand in hand to the cottage.
“You’re quieter than your usual rambunctious self,” I commented.
“Listen, that’s a part of your personality, we have little fragments of your personality so when you say I’m rambunctious that’s you. Also, Sylar told me to shut up when bringing you back.” He said looking annoyed.
“Sylar? Really? Now, why would he do that?” I pried. We were already nearing the cottage.
“Because, Sylar is the part of you that likes cute things, and you’r-” Suddenly Roxas stopped talking and made muffled sounds.
“Hmphphmmph!!!” Sylar came up to us calmly and stopped in front of us.
“I knew something like this would happen…” Said Syler as he grabbed my hand.
Roxas looked depressed keeping his head low mumbling things.
I laugh lightheartedly. Sylar suddenly stopped and turned around.
I tilt my head to the side curiously. He pats my head and opens the door of the cottage.
I was greeted by all the others. It was small and cozy but it looked very modern. There was a fairly sized chandelier that gave off a warm light.
And surprisingly there was a TV and a couch in the living room which was across a modern mini kitchen.
“Hey, Snow!” Greeted Harley who was sitting on the big couch with Drake, Flare, and Aerial.
“Hello, Snow,” When she looked around Lumiere was in an apron holding a baking whisk in one hand.
“Glade is upstairs,” Said Lumiere.
“Glade!!! Snow is here!!!” Called Harley. There was a big crash before I saw Glade peek his head out from upstairs.
“Hey! You better have not messed up the room again!” Shouted Drake.
“Give me a minute!” Shouted Glade. We heard a few big things crash down and maybe fabric? After literally a minute Glade came down his hair in a ponytail wearing a stylish white scarf, a white leather jacket with gold buttons, a black V-cut shirt, and black fitted jeans.
“How do I look?” Asked Glade posing.
“Lumiere!!! Glade messed up the room again!!!” Complained Harley.
“You look good in whatever you wear, but please keep your mess to a minimum next time, Glade,” Said Lumiere in dismay.
“I wasn’t asking your opinion but thanks anyway! So, Snow, what do you think?” He asked excitedly.
“You look… Modern?” I said confused.
“Is that it?! You wound me… And I designed this for you too…” Glade said dejectedly.
“You designed that?” He looked bright again.
“Yes! It’s for you! Come on let’s go upstairs!” He suddenly pulled me up the stairs excitedly.
“I’ll call you guys when dinner is ready!” Shouted Lumiere as we went up the stairs.
“Yes, yes,” Glade replied.
“Do you guys need to eat?” I asked.
“No, but we all have our hobbies in the mindscape. If we didn’t it would be so boring,” said Glade as we entered the big room.
“You guys share this room?” I asked, looking around the messy room filled with scattered fabrics and a mannequin on the floor.
The room was filled with double-deck beds made of dark oak wood and looked like it was newly varnished.
“Yup,” Said Glade, throwing clothes from a trunk.
“Ah! Here it is!” He pulled out a white laced button-on dress with a cute collar you had to tie.
“Woah, did you make it yourself?” I took the dress and held it up.
“The fabric? No, but I did sew it together. We can do anything we want in the mindscape,” He explained.
“I only designed clothes on a sketchbook, how did you learn how to sew?” I asked.
“We know everything you know, but that doesn’t limit us to learn things you don’t know,” I looked at him amazed.
“Does that mean you guys can learn everything and teach it to me?” I ask excitedly.
“Well… That would depend on the spirit if they’re willing to teach you,” said Glade.
“Oh, well, that’s fine,” I said, a bit disappointed.
“Why don’t you try on the dress? I made it especially for you,” I nodded my head and went to the bathroom to change.
“Do you guys share a bathroom too?” I asked before closing the door.
“Heavens, no! That would be disgusting,” Glade gagged.
I laughed and changed into the dress. I was surprised that it fit me so well, he got all the measurements right for a 7-year-old.
I opened the door and surprisingly they were all waiting for me outside the door.
Glade was at the front. He held his chin and tilted his head a little.
Then he smiled. “Looks like I got all the measurements right. It fits like a glove,” He said, smiling gleefully.
The others stared at me for a while and I started to get embarrassed.
“You look very pretty in that dress!” Said Harley.
“Yes, Glade did a good job of designing it,” Said Lumiere.
“…” Drake was silent, then I remembered something important.
“Cute,” Said Sylar simply.
“I’m hungry,” Aeriel said as he went downstairs to eat.
“Mphphhhhmphm!” I saw Roxas still had his mouth frozen shut.
“Oh, right,” Sylar snapped his finger then Roxas breathed out in relief.
“Finally!” He shouted.
“I’ll do it again without hesitation if you don’t stay quiet,” Threatened Sylar.
“Ugh, whatever,” then we all followed Roxas downstairs.
While we were at the table I decided to ask the question. “So, where’s Rafael?” Everyone turned silent.
“I won the bet!” Said Harley cheerfully.
“I already predicted this but you guys didn’t listen,” Said Flare.
“Of course Snow would notice she’s very kindhearted,” Lumiere praised.
And Drake seemed to be quite happy with me.
“Now Glade, Roxas, Sylar, and Aerial have to do the chores for a month! Ahahahaha!” Harley fell to the floor and started rolling around laughing.
“Brat,” Insulted Roxas.
“Glade has to clean his own mess!” Said Harley.
And the others nodded in agreement.
“Ugh, I knew I should have made more than one dress,” groaned Glade.
“This is fun and all but where’s Rafael?” I asked seriously.
“I’ll take you there,” Drake stood up and went out the door so I followed him.
After walking a fair way to the right of the cottage I saw a forest. But it was a strange forest, it formed a medium-sized circle.
“He’s in the middle of the forest. But I can’t go near it,” said Drake. I didn’t question him and just walked to the middle of the forest.
When I reached the middle there was a small pond with a small red lotus bud in the middle of the pond.
When I looked across the pond I saw Rafael on his knees.
“Rafael?” I called.
“Rafael!” I called again, but he didn’t seem to hear me, so I ran towards him.
When I saw him I was frozen in shock. He had bug eye bags like he hadn’t slept for days, he was as pale as a ghost and rugged.
“Rafael!? Are you okay!?” I asked worried as I helped him up.
“Snow? Y-yeah I’m fine. How are you?” He asked, smiling.
“Rafael, what happened to you!?” He was so weak that he mostly depended on me when he tried to stand.
“I-It’s nothing, I just wanted to help. Even if it was just a little bit,” He stared at the small lotus bud in the middle of the pond.
“That… Thing is–” I was interrupted by Rafael.
“The demon seed, yes,” Rafael continued.
“… Let’s go,” I said, helping Rafael walk.
He couldn’t walk properly and he was dragging me down with him but I didn’t mind.
“I’m sorry, I can walk on my own now,” he said, trying to get up on his own.
When I tried loosening my grip on him, he almost fell flat on his face.
“No, no, no, this won’t do at all,” I said, laying him on the grass first.
He looked a bit angry and wouldn’t look me in the eyes.
I adjusted his position and lifted him in a princess carry.
“W-wait! I feel like this is the other way around!” He turned red embarrassed and I laughed.
“Don’t worry I won’t carry you the whole way, Drake will take over when we get out of the forest,” I said carrying him easily.
“B-but–” I interrupted him.
“If ever I were to need a princess carry you’ll be the first I call,” he smiled warmly at me, after that, we silently went out of the forest I passed him on to Drake.
After we arrived back at the cottage we were all greeted by everyone.
“Hey, Snow, have they explained the tv to you yet?” Asked Rafael.
“Actually, no, I was really surprised when I first saw that there,” I said laughing.
“We can see your memories through this tv,” At first I didn’t think much about it. Then I realized something.
“Wait, I want to watch my conversations with Ana,” I said thinking maybe I could recall more information about the game since she was also an LAAO (Love Against All Odds) fan.
Suddenly my head was hit with a sharp pain.
“Ow, what–” My head hurt again then I heard a faint voice.
“Someone is calling you, Snow,” Rafael held my shoulder.
“But! I need to– Gah!” the whole place was suddenly shaking.
“Your consciousness needs to go back to your physical body. You can come back next time, bye, Snow,” Then I was pushed into the darkness by Drake.
I woke up on my bed sitting up too quickly causing the blood to rush to my head.
“Ah, jeez,” I run my hand through my hair.
“Princess Snow?” I turned to the right side of my bed.
“Oh, I apologize for my behavior,” I bowed my head in greeting and respect.
“Please forgive me, Prince Leonard Fantasia,”
