I Reincarnated As The Universe - 9 Artifacts 3
Now then, let’s move onto the next galaxy’s Artifact.
The Delta Galaxy.
Or in other words, the Cultivation Galaxy.
Most of the novels I’ve heard being read out loud have all been about people wanting to attain immortality in one way or another.
Which in a sense can be…really annoying.
All they do is strive for immortality, whether they’re good or bad in nature.
What’s so good about it?
Yes, you’ll live forever.
Yes, you’ll not die.
However, you lose everything dear to you.
You’ll lose your loved ones, your friends and companions, everything.
Time takes away everything whether you like it or not.
A good example would be the old Universe.
Time took a toll on him as well, else he wouldn’t have wanted to give up and pick someone new.
So even someone like me that can control time for myself, will someday end up perishing.
Whether that be in millions, billions or even trillions of years.
Time will always win in the end, even if you’re an immortal.
So what’s the reason for fighting such fierce battles just to receive something that’s more like a curse?
Well, since cultivation usually uses cultivation techniques, mantras or whatever, etc., then let’s create an artifact representing something like that.
But…the problem is, I’m actually not sure what a cultivation technique is…
No matter! I’ll just make one anyway.
「Use Major Skill: Creation to create a giant stone tablet.」
Instantly a stone tablet appeared without sound. However, this one was different compared to others.
This one, was giant…as I wanted it to be, ;).
Its height reached a couple hundred thousand kilometers, while the width reached an astonishing 50 thousand kilometers.
Right now, the stone tablet was just completely plain and flat, without any bumps or cavings.
It was made in normal stone, but because it was made by me directly it was different.
I’m guessing that even if my Blessed Body were to punch it, I might not even be able to make a small crack. Of course, that was if it was a light punch.
A punch with all my power would probably be able to shatter it into pieces, however, it wouldn’t be enough to make it into dust.
Oddly enough, the mountain I made in the Abyss had some of the same characteristics.
But it wasn’t as hard as this stone tablet I made now.
Perhaps it’s because I’m beginning to adapt to having this power?
Either way, since it’s a stone tablet, I’ll have to engrave it.
But first of all, what should I name it?
It has to be something to do with cultivation…right?
So, would Tablet of Immortality work?
Since cultivation is used to reach the level of immortal, then that should do, right?
Yea…let’s just go with that name.
And yes, I’m bad at naming, you don’t need to remind me of that.
And, I know, that naming the tablet, like that, will probably also cause some sort of influence to the Delta Galaxy.
But I don’t care about your opinion, okay?
「Use Minor Skill: Modify, to engrave the Tablet of Immortality, with a cultivation technique according to my clone of Blessed Body’s standard.」(What is meant is, to make a cultivation technique which is as good as the clone of the Blessed Body. It’ll make sense later in the story.)
Instantly screeching sounds could be heard, as millions of tons of stone were hacked off.
Tens of millions of words appeared on the surface, both on the front, and back of the tablet.
Only a couple of seconds went by, and the whole tablet was covered with words, resulting in the tablet giving off an incredible presence.
Oddly enough, I didn’t have to do anything, as if I unconsciously just knew what was going to be written on the tablet.
Since I don’t really know what’s written on it, I might as well read it while I’m at it.
–A couple of hours later, or in other words, around 120 000 years later–
I’m finally done reading!!
I don’t think I’ve ever done this much reading in my entire life, and this is even with a speed comparable to about 50 000 words per minute!
First off, the whole text is basically about cultivating.
There’s written about different stances, such as when attacking, using stealth, fighting while flying…there were thousands of stances used for practically everything on the tablet.
Even for something like walking…just why?
Well, I’ll probably not understand since I’m not someone with much knowledge of cultivation either way.
Of course, once people begin cultivating, their knowledge becomes my knowledge, so I don’t actually have to do much to learn anything about it.
There’s still something that I’ll need to fix.
The energy within Delta Galaxy is so much more dense and pure than the energy in The Abyss.
Since I want both sides to be able to start out fair, I’ll have to do something about this.
And wouldn’t it be unfair if one side got an advantage over the other? I want The Abyss to be the enemy of Delta Galaxy and most likely Magia Galaxy as well since it is incredibly big.
However, it’s not even close to the scale of the Realm of Gods and Demons though.
I make a crack in space leading to Delta Galaxy and transport the Tablet of Immortality through it.
There’s a lot of planets and worlds in this galaxy compared to the Realm of Gods and Demons.
I find a planet of reasonable size.
A million kilometers in radius.
Since it’s so big, I thought to myself, why not place the tablet on here? There’s plenty of space for it.
So I do just that. Duh.
「Use Minor Skill: Modify to let the Tablet of Immortality absorb all spiritual energy within the Delta Galaxy, and release it at the same pace of the clone of Blessed Body.」
Instantly, not a single ounce of the spiritual energy was left in Delta Galaxy.
However, gradually, the stone tablet began to emit the extremely pure and dense energy it had absorbed, however, it only emitted it thinly, allowing it to preserve the spiritual energy.
Of course, since it had absorbed an entire galaxy’s worth of energy, it had tons of it for later use as well.
Well then, on to the last of the 4 galaxies…the Magia Galaxy.
