I Stole the Heroine’s First Love - Chapter 7
Episode 7
Me, Daniel, and Tatiana have been friends since childhood.
Daniel was very popular, and the biggest factor was the tension that he loved my friend.
Daniel had been thinking about Tatiana, not me, since he was young, and he bought two of the same thing and gave them as gifts on the pretext that the three of them were close.
‘In the original, I didn’t deserve it.’
It was natural. No matter how close friends are, who would want to share a lover?
Anyway, this bracelet was a pretty important motif for Daniel.
It’s useless now though.
“Throw it away. I don’t know why I still have it.”
“It’s been treasured for a long time…”
Lily muttered as if it was a waste.
“Daniel gave it to me. Tatiana has the same one.”
“I’ll do it quietly.”
Lily was startled by my words and tucked the bracelet into the pocket in her apron.
Come to think of it, Tatiana took this bracelet quite seriously.
Even though she knew that she would be ignored every time she came out to an important event.
“Lily, give it back to me.”
“Wouldn’t it be better to throw away this ominous thing?”
“Hurry.”
Lily reluctantly handed me the bracelet.
I picked up the bracelet and looked at it under the light of the chandelier.
After all, it was an ordinary glass jewel.
As I was about to give it to Lily again, something appeared on the bracelet as if it had made a noise.
“Oh?”
What is this?
“Why are you doing this, miss?”
“Lily, didn’t you just see something weird happening up here?”
“No. I didn’t see anything.”
“Obviously it looked strange…”
I looked at the bracelet again into the light. However, the strange phenomenon I saw earlier did not appear.
Lily, who watched my actions, said as if a little scared.
“How about throwing it away quickly? What do I do if I get a strange curse or something?”
It wasn’t like a curse.
If it were, I would have known.
“I should keep it just in case.”
I opened the drawer of the side table and put the bracelet in.
Lily was still looking at the drawer with an anxious expression on her face.

(3rd person pov)
Marquis Hunt was happy not long ago.
The business was walking on a solid road, and having a grandson there was nothing to resent.
Even the engagement of Wilhelm, who had excellent swordsmanship, was going well even though he was not the eldest son.
Everything was perfect.
However, on the sheet of paper in front of him, neither business nor his cute descendant’s smile came to mind.
“You… What the hell did you do?”
The Marquis felt that what he was seeing was a lie.
[Request for divorce]
It was not long ago, but a pretty engagement ceremony was held.
But now it’s a breakup!
His head was dizzy at the documents demanding the large amount of alimony and the sea that he had forgotten about even existed. Read only at pm tl.
What made it even more shocking was the reason for the divorce.
“Being the paramour of the Duchess.”
At the marquis’s words, Wilhelm spoke in a resolute tone.
“The princess was mistaken. That’s not the relationship we shared.”
“If not like that? Did you mean that the peasants even lied?!”
“It’s a misunderstanding.”
But even so, he didn’t believe Wilhelm.
The reason was simple.
Even after graduation, Wilhelm did not forget his first love, Tatiana.
He wanted him to get better after she got married.
But even after that, he was caught more than once hovering around Archduke Gloucester’s place.
It was also the Marquis who drove Wilhelm, who had fiercely refused, when marriage from Duke Pioneer’s family came.
It was because he thought that if a woman with the title of a princess was next to him, she would capture his heart.
“Then you are saying that the princess lied?!”
“Didn’t I tell you, it’s a misunderstanding. Seeing me and Titi getting close…”
“What kind of name is Titi?!”
Wilhelm’s attitude made the Marquis dizzy.
He was like that in front of him, but how absurd was he in front of the princess?
He intuitively felt that this marriage was over.
‘It’s still Duke Pioneer. We can’t pretend.’
In order to do that, they had to break up the engagement as quietly as possible.
In the meantime, if Wilhelm came to his senses and prayed to the princess, he might have a chance.
“Go and apologize right now, do you know what kind of kid’s joke marriage is?”
“But…”
“Right now!”
Hearing the anger from the marquis, Wilhelm left the office. His head hurt.
At the same time, he resented himself for being too frank in the past.
He ruffled his hair roughly and murmured.
“I should’ve just lied moderately.”
From a long time ago, he had maintained a relationship with Tatiana that was more than a friend, but less than a lover.
He was sorry for the princess, but can the human heart be so easy to change?
Wilhelm couldn’t possibly give up on her. In fact, he thought it was possible at first.
Wilhelm put his heart aside, and even got engaged solely for the sake of his success and family.
But after the engagement ceremony, Tatiana contacted him.
He had not seen her since he got engaged. But she was as beautiful as always when he met her again after a long time.
With her long silver hair hanging down and with a pure smile, Tatiana was like a fairy.
‘When Will gets married, it’s going to be easier to meet than it is now! It’s much better than being single.’
Wilhelm was no fool.
He knew at least that Tatiana wanted him as a paramour.
He wanted to ask Karina’s consent.
After all, he thought she would understand because it was a perfect political relationship.
‘I’m sure Tatiana has a sense of inferiority.’
As soon as their relationship creaked, contact with Tatiana was cut off again.
Wilhelm felt thirsty.
As if the dry earth was more washed out by the showers that passed by for a moment, he wanted to do everything he could to get his relationship with Tatiana back.
And there was only one way to do that.
‘Somehow, the breakup must be stopped.’
Wilhelm, the epitome of a perfect knight, hated lies to the point of decisiveness.
So, from the beginning, he had no intention of changing Karina’s heart with sweet words.
He decided to break through this problem by definition.
If he could honestly apologize and talk about the benefits of staying engaged, he was sure Karina would understand.
Wilhelm sighed and began to ponder his offer to convince the princess.

(Karina’s pov)
The marriage was postponed, so there was plenty of time.
People have advised me to focus on marriage. But my passion for people had long since run out.
I no longer had any desire to trust anyone or get married. This strange world has always been tolerant of Tatiana, but quite harsh on me.
Because it was always me who got the stigma attached to the breakup.
‘So, it’s better to just pretend to be in love with His Majesty.’
Rather, I wanted to distract myself by focusing on other things.
Contemplating what to do, I decided to use the sea I would take from Wilhelm to grow my business.
I plan to raise it in a slightly different way.
In order to do that, a preliminary investigation was necessary. I don’t know anything about scents.
Arriving at the most popular perfume boutique these days, familiar people caught my eye.
I seem to have no luck today again. Apparently, Tatiana’s close friends were inside the boutique.
I looked inside to see if Tatiana was there, but luckily she wasn’t.
For now, I decided to ignore them and focus on the scent.
“Isn’t that Princess Pioneer over there?”
It was a small voice, but it was audible to my ears.
“Oh, that’s right. There are rumors that her engagement is breaking up again, but she looks bright.”
“Isn’t there a story these days about her clinging to the Emperor?”
“Ah…”
After that, the voice became quieter.
They were probably thinking about it.
Rumors were bound to be false.
The rumors about me and Aster spread here and there with half-fiction and truth mixed.
When I took a step back because of the breakup with Wilhelm, it was as if I was clinging to the emperor poorly.
“Don’t worry Miss, they’re doing this out of envy.”
“I don’t really care.”
It wasn’t the first time something like this had happened.
There was something more worrisome than that. Because at times like this, there was always someone who pretended to be just.
“Stop it. Karin is listening!”
Unfortunately, their voices were too loud to not be heard.
“Why are you spreading such nonsensical rumors that she seduced His Majesty, or that she was caught with him?”
Rather, Tatiana yelled at her, and everyone in the boutique heard the buzz.
I could feel people’s eyes.
I finally had to grab Tatiana’s shoulder and turn her around. It was funny to see Tatiana’s anger at my situation as if she were me.
In fact, people like that couldn’t hurt me. I faced her with an angry expression on her face, not knowing whether it was her acting or not.
