I, Villain Reborn - 1 The Hero saves the World!
Seven living beings could be seen in what seemed to be the center of the battleground. Several other people wearing heavy armor could also be seen in various parts of the ground, barely standing, over the corpses of the demons that fell during the war.
“You have lost, Proximus Darklord.” One of the six humans, leading from the front, spoke.
There was a skeleton like figure holding a long scythe and wearing a black robe in front of them. Blue neon light could be seen under his clothes.
The war for the Heavens was the battle between the Humans and the Demon’s Heaven Army. The battle was inevitable. The demons were destroying and stealing the Fundamental Qi, which was the most essential Qi source for the cultivation path, since time immemorial.
The battle that came wasn’t the result of a sudden decision of one or two leading figures from their respective sides. This was a calculated move, that was in planning for decades.
“I may have lost this war, but not this battle. Come at me, Saviour Lin.” Proximus shouted for a duel.
“Then a duel it shall be.” Lin Hui spoke, raising his spear.
“No! He may be hiding some cheap tricks.” complained Lang Shu, Lin Hui’s sworn sister. Indeed, the current ruler of the demons was especially known for his underhanded way of fighting. At the same time, he was known for being heartless and cruel. His method of torturing was indeed questionable, even by a demons standard.
“That is why he is called a demon, Shu. If I cannot even beat him by myself, I am not worthy of my title.” Lin Hui retorted.
“Big words, ‘hero’. If I am able to defeat you, you have to let me go.” Proximus rarely did anything without expecting something equivalent in return.
“No can do.” Lin Hui dashed forward, with enough speed to break the space and appear behind the Proximus.
“Huh?”
“Art of the Asura, Fury of Heaven’s Wrath!” Lin Hui pressed his spear forward with just enough power. Not expecting sucha huge difference in power, all Eternal could do was slowly watch as the spear pierced through his chest.
“I won’t kill you now. Your fate will be decided by the higher ups.” Lin Hui proclaimed.
“You really live up to my expectations, Lin Hui. Even if I was in my peak state, I couldn’t even hold a candle to your extreme power. However, you lack something.”
“And what may that be?”
“The inability to do sacrifices!” Proximus suddenly ripped space apart and got hold of an unaware Lang Shu by surprise.
“Proximus! You really disappoint me. Hand her over this moment, else you won’t know whats coming your way!” Lin Ming was furious.
“Disappoint you? Why should I even care for such little things? There is nothing called fairness in this cold and cruel world. You just have to accept it, and go along with it. Don’t tell me that you never indulged in the darker side. For there is light, there will be a shadow, no matter how perfect you are. Now, move over. I’ll release her once I have reached the boundary.”
“Flash Art, Disability.”
Lang Shu quickly rushed over to Lin Hui’s side as the Proximus’s grip loosened.
“What is happening?” Darklord was in a state of confusion.
“There is one particular thing that I dislike the most, using cowardly moves. I gave you a chance, but you let it slip away. Now you can experience what real hell means.” Lin Hui spoke as he walked towards the Darklord. There seemed to be no life in his eyes.
“Hell’s flames of Withering.” Lin Hui calmly said.
“W-wait a moment, I never planned on hurting her. You also make decisions. For shadows to exist there must be light too. Think about it, you think I’ve only done cruel things my entire life? Atleast let me- AAaaaaah!” Eternal Darklord’s body slowly turned to ashes from the inside, starting from the organs.
“I’ll remember this!! Just you wai-” the lungs turned to ashes. Slowly but steadily, the Darklord learnt the pain of hell.
*SWOOSH*
A sword pierced through his heart. It was Lang Shu who did the deed.
“That was unnecessary. We needed him alive.” Lin Hui said.
“Cowards like him shouldn’t be allowed to live a single moment longer” retorted Lang Shu.
*SHHHHH*
A heap of ashes lay in the place of the Darklord. Lin Hui watched as the ashes was blown by the wind. He looked around the battlefield, disappointed. A feeling of helplessness brushed inside his heart.
***************
Ten years later.
Windsprout Nation, The Lower Realm.
“Haha take that, you poor beggar.” Hu Feng said as he kicked Yi Zhihao.
The Hu Clan was one of the Four Great Clans in the Windsprout Nation. It had many branch clans spread throughout the country. Hu Feng came from one of those branch clans situated in the Firelash City. His father, Hu Zheng, was the branch leader. Being the only son, Hu Feng was spoiled to the core, not to mention his character.
Yi Clan was a prestigious clan before its downfall. In the ancient times, it even rivaled the Four Great Clan’s strength combined. Now, it could be said that it was not even existing. This explained the cause for Yi Zhihao’s bullying.
“Sooner or later, you’re going to pay threefold what you did to me.” said an angry Yi Zhihao, while coughing blood. He was bullied on a daily basis. His cultivation was Body Strengthening Stage Two.
The cultivation of The Lower Realm was divided into- Body Strengthening, Spirit Forming, Qi Path, Blood Fusion, Soul Awakening, Heaven Ascension, with each being divided into smaller stages.
“Maybe, but not to you, not with your second stage cultivation, ahahaha!” Hu Feng and his group of friends continued to beat Yi Zhihao.
Yi Zhihao was brought up in an orphanage. When his parents gave him to the orphanage as a baby, the only thing they said to them was that his name was Yi Zhihao and that he was from the ancient Yi Clan. He never met his parents or knew their names.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Zhihao from the great Yi Clan. Try to get your face fixed today, because you are going to get beaten up again tomorrow. Lets go.” Hu Feng gave Yi Zhihao one more kick before he left with his group of friends.
“Aaah, its so boring here. I can’t wait till I can go to the capital.” Hu Feng complained as he slept in his room inside the Hu Mansion.
*WHOOSH*
A black smoky matter came inside the room with the wind. It seemed to be looking for something. Sometime later, it came to the bed and slowly entered inside Hu Feng. He slowly opened his eyes. He stood up and started moving his body.
“Finally, after ten long years of waiting. I, will have my revenge. Just you wait.”
