I Want To Be Your First – R19 - Chapter 101
“Yes, a wish.”
As he recited softly, Berthwald pressed his lips on Ariel’s neck. He raised the hand that was tightly holding her waist, brushed against her spine, before rotating his wrist to close the curtains. Under the dimmed light, he could see Ariel staring at him with round eyes.
“Listen to it now.”
“What’s…your wish?”
“I said that I wanted to do something racy though.”
As he asked Ariel if she remembered with a low voice, Ariel pursed her lips in confusion. As he took in all of her reactions, Berthwald’s eyes curved slightly into a smile.
“Shall we practice how to make a baby together.”
As he pressed his lips on her peach hued cheeks, he began to loosen the buttons that fixed her dress in place. “Stay still”, his low voice contained an odd vigour that was irresistible.
Unlike his hands that were calmly undoing the buttons, his lips that moved back and forth between her face and neck weren’t relaxed. The lips that gently tapped on the corners of her mouth sucked her lower lips and invaded into the gap immediately.
A wet groan appeared through the parted lips, and a large hand rolled up the hem of her dress and brushed against her inner thigh before she knew it.
Ariel shuddered at the sudden stimulus. She had thought that the strange provocation when she was in Nedik was just an excuse to return home, as Berthwald had a formal attitude the entire time. She didn’t expect him to desire her this much.
It’s not a bad thing, though.
…No, while it was a good thing.
It was currently in broad daylight, and they had guests. Furthermore, she has yet to wash up properly, and so she really didn’t want to do that in this state.
Come to think of it, she hadn’t washed up ever since the bath she took at their accommodation last night. While her body was clean, northern people heard sarcasm from aristocrats they had the fishy scent of salmon all year round, so she definitely didn’t want to mix bodies with him in this state.
While it has been a long time since Ariel ate salmon, she was worried that the smell would still linger, as when she was in the north, she had lived off salmon throughout winter.
“Ah… No, Salmon, Eub…”
Ariel accepted his kiss with a troubled face, before pushing on Berthwald’s chest slightly with both hands. As he was savouring the soft flesh inside his lips, didn’t seem to want to pull away from Ariel, and held her even closer to his body.
Ariel held her breath and accepted the rough kiss, before turning her head to the side and pushed him harder.
“La…ter, uh, this, w—wash up…!”
“There’s no need to wash up when you’re this clean. Hug me a little tighter.”
“No! It’s dir, dirty…!”
Berthwald bit on her lower lip and forced it open, before whispering between her opened lips.
“I’ll lick and make you clean… so you don’t have to wash up.”
What nonsense is that, before she had the time to be astonished, his lips descended onto her neck once again. Ariel quickly moved her face upwards and resisted even more strongly.
“Uh, licking, I hate it…!”
Even when she pushed at his chest with a clenched fist, there wasn’t any movement. While Ariel possessed strength that was at an astonishing degree when compared to her size, it was limited when pushing out a muscular body that was much larger than her.
Berthwald watched Ariel with narrowly opened eyes and held the clenched fist that was on his chest. He raised her hand like that, grabbed his wrist, and then lowered his head to place his lips on it fleetingly.
“Look.”
Berthwald formed a smile by raising the corners of his lips upwards, before sticking out his tongue and generously licking Ariel’s neck. Chuu, before sucking the flesh strongly and then licking near her chin again.
“I’ll make you clean. All you have to do is stay still.”
“I, I, I said I don’t like it!”
There was only so much she could do to resist him when her hands were restrained. Amongst them, Ariel chose the most effective method.
She veered her head back without hesitation, and hit her forehead on his while he was off guard.
Paak!
Berthwald’s face reeled back with a small sound.
Ariel also suffered an impact. She thought that she was pretty tough, even if she wasn’t at Gwen’s level, but it felt as though she was about to die when she actually hit someone.
Stars sparkled in her white vision. Oh, it wasn’t just a saying that she could see stars. So it was the truth. After gaining a new knowledge, Ariel came to her senses hurriedly and escaped from Berthwald’s embrace.
“I, I’ll be back after washing up! I’ll help you practice, so go wash up quickly! If you’d just wait for a moment…!”
“……”
“I’ll be right back after washing up! So, the Count can also take a bath…”
“……”
“…Uhm… C—count…? Are you alright…?”
Berthwald raised his head slowly as he rubbed his forehead. The aftermath of the impact was evident from his reddened eyes.
He hummed and agonised over how he should react, before speaking with a cracked voice.
“I’m fine. Is my wife alright?”
“Oh, yes. I’m fine as I’m originally a tough person…”
“I thought that only your fists were strong, but it seems that you have a very tough head.”
As he rubbed Ariel’s forehead with his index finger, Berthwald pulled away slowly. He rubbed Ariel’s arm lightly with an indifferent gaze. Her confusion had only lasted for a moment, before a mischievous smile appeared on the corners of his mouth.
“Well, that’s fine. I’ll wash up, rest, and see you in a little bit.”
“I’ll have to tie her tightly to the bed so she can’t do anything this time,” muttered Berthwald with a smile, a strange glint in his eyes.
While Ariel couldn’t see his expression, there was a chilly feeling for some reason, and Ariel rubbed the back of her neck. She mumbled, wanting to refute that, worries of her being caught again caused her to rush out of the room, saying, “Then, I’ll see you later.”

Ariel let out a deep sigh as she stood with her back against the door, before moving towards her room.
Although she tried her best to keep a composed expression, the redness on her cheeks couldn’t be erased. The hand that caressed her spine, the breathing close to her ears. It was familiar, but at the same time unfamiliar.
“Ah, how long are you going to remain shy?”
She murmured to herself as she tugged at her earlobes. She felt annoyed at herself for always being hesitant and passive, even though she’s from the north.
…Yes.
There’s nothing to be shy about. With confidence, with spantanity
‘I’ll be the first to take off the clothes that the Count and I are wearing. I’ll hurry and wash up, and head to the bedroom.’
Her eyes gleamed and she clenched her fist tightly. A glint of determination appeared in her clouded eyes.
However, Ariel’s grand plan fell through when she was caught by the head maid, Eva.
“Madam! You’re just in time! There’s a few things that I have to discuss with you.”
Eva appeared as soon as Ariel entered her room, as if she had been waiting for her arrival. With a piece of paper, she wore the small pair of glasses she had taken out, and began to recite things that needed the lady of the house’s permission.
“It will soon be the end of the year. What do you think about adding more winter decorations?”
“Winter decorations? But we’re in the south.”
“Of course, it’s summer all year round in Pahar, but there are often guests coming from various places. The decorations for each season are different in accordance to the County’s style. Especially in winter. As such, I’ve made a list for now.”
Eva flipped to the back page of the paper and began to recite the list at the back. Other matters immediately followed after she listed out the types and cost of winter decorations, the location to purchase them and the methods to handle them later.
“It’s time to start preparing for the year-end party, so what kind of menu would be preferable? It was no different from usual when the Lord was single, but now that the Lady is present, shouldn’t we make it fancier from this year onwards?”
“What are available?”
“It can be changed according to your wishes, but for now, I’m thinking of composing from the party dishes that are common in the south. It’s because Madam might not prefer things that are too unique. Firstly, there are options such as herb-stuffed steamed goose and fried coconut shrimp, seafood soup and a punch cocktail made of fruits, and steamed crab. For dessert, coconut jelly and lime cake… Oh, for the main dish, I’m thinking of an entire barbecued pork as the main dish.”
“The portion seems to be too much. Could it be that the families are also allowed to partake in the meal?“
Eva gave a warm smile and nodded.
“Yes, that’s right. Around this time of year, the Lord would throw a small party for the servants as thanks for their hard work in the past year. Since the number of servants has increased this time, I would like to order three pigs….”
The conversation about the party’s menu led to the difference between southern and northern cuisine, and ended with complaints about the servant’s table manners. Eva only folded the paper in her hand after continuing to recite matters regarding entertainment for guests, rewards for the servants, and things she needed to know about ushering in the New Year.
After mumbling the details of the conveyed information, Ariel opened her mouth slowly.
“I’ll leave the preparations for the year-end party to Eva. As for the level of rewards… Oh, please ensure that the dedicated handmaidens are rewarded adequately. They must have had a hard time travelling to and from the capital’s mansion in order to attend to me. Also, could you let me know the guest list for the New Year’s party separately? I’ve memorised all the prominent families of the capital, but I’m not too clear about the southern region.”
“Yes, I’ll bring you the aristocratic registry. You can ask Vieta to read it to you. And what about the greenhouse?”
“I think it’ll be better to put off the construction of the greenhouse. Um… I don’t think it’s necessary as the garden has always been pretty, but I’ll discuss it with the Count first. And I think the winter decorations are only required for the main building of the mansion…”
The usual dazed expression disappeared, as Ariel gave Eva instructions with a very serious look. The way she recognised the significance of the question quickly and the way she answered them proved that she wasn’t just a Countess in name.
No matter what, Ariel was still a princess of the Duchy of Aegis. As she had constantly watched the territorial management while living in the ducal castle, and wandered through the entire mansion, her observational skills weren’t inferior to any other noblewoman.
Eva nodded her head with a pleased expression and carefully remembered the Madam’s instructions.
