I Was Forced To Marry The Enemy - Chapter 51
~KYOMI~
I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of having him near me for a few seconds before reminding myself that we weren’t alone. Against my own wishes, I opened them back again to see that my parents along with Dante’s parents were still deep in argument.
I slowly spun around so that I was now facing him.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
He quirked a brow at me. “Telling my fiancée that I miss her.” He answered with that smirk smile that always melted my heart.
“My parents are right there.” I said. “And a lot of eyes are on us.”
“So you’re trying to say I’m not allowed to touch the woman I’m about to marry?” He asked. “I think in order to make this entire thing believable I should be allowed to touch you as much as I want.” He drawled lazily as his eyes slowly grazed up and down my body.
I remained quiet, unsure of how to respond with his eyes on me like that. I felt my cheeks redden and like always my body reacted to his words.
“I like that dress on you.” He whispered hoarsely before leaning closer to my ear.”But I’d love it even more if I got to take it off you.”
My breath caught in my throat as I forced myself to pull away.
He was smiling again, he was definitely enjoying this.
“I like the way you react to my words Kyomi.” He admitted.
I felt my heart flutter for I liked the way he said my name, in fact I even wanted to hear him say it again.
He took a step in my direction so that we were once again just inches away from each other. I didn’t miss the way my body lit up at having him so close to me again.
I watched in surprise as he gently took my hand in his. The feeling of his firm but gentle grip made my body shiver and cry out for more.
Oh God. Was this the kind of reaction I got from just him touching my hand?
“Father said it may be suspicious if you didn’t have a ring on your finger so I went and picked this out for you.”
My eyes snapped to his in shock before my gaze returned to the diamond ring that was now being slipped onto my finger. My stomach did little flip flops at his actions, this was the last thing I ever expected Dante Clarke to do.
How did he even find out the correct size?
