I Was Just an Only Child Boy, Now I Became One of a Four Quadruplet Sisters - CH 58
“Nishi Yotsutsuji-sama. Your ride has arrived.”
“I’m here. Yuudachi!? What happened?”
“Can you just let me sleep?”
“Eh, Did I do something wrong. . ?”
Our ride shortly arrived after eating an extravagant breakfast.
Souji along with an attendant met us at the door.
Apparently father wasn’t able to come?
“Is dad not here? What happened?”
“Oh, father is waiting in the car. I’m also only here for some personal business.”
“A personal errand?”
“Ah, yeah. I want to talk to my girl friend.”
That took me aback.
Oi, Oi. You’re still just an elementary student, and you already have a girlfriend. . ? I mean, surely people do think he is handsome. . .Wait let me rethink this. Maybe by girl friend. He meant a girl who is also just a friend.
“Onii-san. . D-Do you mean a friend. . ?”
“Aah, yes my friend. Her name is Kizami. Have you guys not met? She has short hair. Is Tokiwa-chan’s older sister. She doesn’t have a cell phone, so I don’t often have the opportunity to visit her.”
“Umm. . .”
“Ah.”
I remember. It was that girl I met in the hallway last night.
Her shape and face were similar to Tokiwa.
“Has Yuudachi perhaps met her already?”
“Yeah. Just for a little yesterday. . .”
“Are you okay? Nothing weird happened, right?”
Um, what? Could something weird have happened?
She seems way less dangerous than Tokiwa. Is she dangerous!?
“N-Nothing happened.”
“I see. . .well then good.”
He gave a sigh of relief.
– – Is she really that dangerous? She didn’t seem dangerous. . .
Well actually, Tokiwa would be a non-suspecting pretty girl if she kept quiet. And we all know how she actually is. When I see her at school from a distance, she gives off an air of elegance that puts people in a humbled position. I never knew she was obsessive and clingy.
So looks can be deceiving.
I need to keep that in mind.
“Um, I don’t have much time. Tokiwa-chan. Can you tell me where Kizami’s room is?”
“. . .”
“Tokiwa-chan?”
It was silent.
Did she not hear?
The silence lasted for a bit, until the servant behind Tokiwa finally spoke up.
“Kizami-sama room is located at the far right end of the corridor. Please follow me and I’ll show you the way.”
“I see. Thank you. Well in the meantime, everybody pack up your stuff and I’ll be right back.”
After those words, Souji followed the servant without saying anything else to Tokiwa.
We were simply left there in this awkward atmosphere.
“Anyways. This was the first time I heard that Tokiwa-chan had an Onee-chan.”
Mahiru was the first to break the ice.
I have nothing but admiration for her willing to put herself out there.
Yeah, I can’t ask about that. I’m scared I’ll overstep my boundaries.
“What kind of person is your Onee-chan. . ? Yuu-chan you met her right. . ? Anything?”
“. . .”
“I’d like to meet her next time- – -”
“Please stop.”
“. . .Eh?”
“Ah, sorry. It was nothing. . .I’m sorry, but I don’t get along with my older sister. So I’d prefer not to introduce you to her.”
“I see. Well, I’m sorry that I brought that up.”
Mahiru soon apologized and then turned her gaze towards me. She approached me and softly whispered.
“Tokiwa-chan’s obsession with Yuu-chan and Asa-chan might be linked to this.”
. . .Eh?
Oh, that makes sense!
Tokiwa’s abnormal attachments may be because of her bad relationship with her older sister.
So perhaps if their dispute is resolved, her clinginess will cease.
. . .However. What would our relationship become if she doesn’t worship Asahi and I? Would she go back to her previous bitchiness?
It may be risky, but if it can get rid of Tokiwa’s obsession it may be worth it.
“Okay, I’ll give it a look. . .No, after a break then I’ll give it a look.”
“Yuu-chan. . .”
Mahiru looked like she was disappointed.
No, no. Now isn’t the time to look into it. I’m tired. Too tired. It’s impossible to work on it today. . .Yeah, impossible.

“Thank you very much. And sorry for the intrusion.”
“It was no bother.”
“Let’s meet up at school again. I look forward to seeing you again Onee-samas!”
“Ah, Yeah.”
Approximately 30 minutes after that awkward exchange. Tokiwa regained her spirit and tightly hugged us.
. . .Okay it’s a bit too long.
“Yuudachi-Onee-sama. Let’s make up for all the lost time we had.”
That sent shivers down my spine.
“A. .Haha. . .”
Maybe I should have looked into it today. . .
I glanced over to see Mahiru giving me the “I told you so” face.
“How long are you going to hug me?”
“Alittle longer. . .”
“It’s been long enough!”
Yoru forcibly peeled off Tokiwa from me.
Thank you, Yoru.
“Muu. . .”
“*Ehem. Tokiwa.”
The separated Tokiwa puffed her cheek, when suddenly her mother calmly interjected from behind her.
“You must be Matsuri-san. My name is Nishi Yotsutsuji Souji. And thank you for taking care of my younger sisters.”
“I’ve heard plenty about you, Souji-san. Please continue to get along with Kizami.”
“Yes, of course I plan to. . .Well, then everyone.”
We then followed Souji out of the house.
“Welcome back everybody. Souji, did you properly conduct yourself?”
My father met us as he rolled down his car window.
“Yes. I conducted myself properly.”
“I see. Then I look forward to how you handle yourself at the next social gathering.”
“I won’t let you down.”
My father and Souji continued their conversation as we entered the car.
“Alright, before we leave. Is there anything you left behind. I’m looking at you, Yoru.”
“Why me!?”
“Well, it’s Yoru-chan.”
“I’m not following.”
Everybody then continued their usual banter.
Due to some normalcy returning, my drowsiness suddenly struck me.
I slowly closed my eyes as we drove away from the Tenjouin estate.
I’m at my limit. . .Good night world.
“Yuu, whats wro-. . .Ah. Yes. Good night, Yuu-chan.”
